Ive never had one, ive been very lucky and careful. But Ive seen them and its gnarly. I have though seen a hand mangled to the point of fingers being gone and not re attachable. If luckys hand had gotten crushed with out the cast on like that, man, some one would be up on charges. If its cast and you are a lber, dl, etc its not much of a risk. I have no doubt lucky made the call and was 100% willing. The guy has the most heart of any speed tool player Ive seen in a very long time. That said, the medical and coaching staff have to protect guys like that. Just like a fighters corner has to throw in the towel when a guy cant and isnt protecting him self any more. It breaks my heart and makes me angry when guys have all the will to continue, but cant, and arent protected.

🤣 Also, its kind of ironic with how much trash was talked about yamasaki in BC that we now have a worse kicker. Can you Imagine if we stay the course like this, and mourtada wins a ring kicking at 40%? Westies head would explode

beating a pro team 3 weeks out of 5 is insanely hard. That said, if any team is ever doing it its this bomber team. And this esks team looks broken in many ways. I wouldnt bet against the bombers this year. I think they will be angry as ever. I dont see them letting up, especially the offense.

We could probably clinch a cross over spot with some combination of eastern team loses too. I cant imagine that 8 wins wouldnt clinch a spot in the east this year.

To be fair, kicking below the westwood line is conversation worthy. Kicking at HALF the westwood line, is complaint worth.

Look at his hand and look at the nature of the break. He couldve suffered a compound fracture, not to mention break one of the many connecting bones. Not the same kind of break though. Strevs wasnt a full fracture nor was it going to become one. Decoys still get hit on running plays, we say this exact scenario play out and lucky got barked at. Nothing removes the chance for contact in football. If reilly wouldve thrown a pick on the same side as lucky, lucky couldve been laid out with a block. Hand contacts the ground first by instinct. Look at his xray, the bone is completely broken. The only thing suporting it is soft tissue. Tell walby, or any OL that that hands heal. Or floyd mayweather, or any boxer thats suffered a boxers break. Or Angus chrichton, the rugby player who had fingers amputated because they wouldnt heal in properly, so he could continue playing. The rugby union wasnt going to allow him to continue to play with his damaged fingers. Which happened from him playing with broken fingers. Aussy rugby league, wouldnt let him play with injured fingers. If its too much for them, its too much for football.

It's true. If plop could manage to delegate the offensive play call to another oc who is better at it he'd be a much better hc. The Flanders Nichols and Davis decisions and poor use of dis historically however give concern too. That said he seems to be past those issues now. If management could force an oc in and plop could work with him they'd be in much better shape.

The bc lions should face fines and Their head athletic trainer should be sent for a certification review.

Mourtada has been fantastic with kick offs. However in the cfl with current roster sizes you can't be a ko specialist. It's much easier to have directional control on a ko than a fg. Also you can have a wide margin for error on ko. Also the distance difference between his avg ko and the league average is like 1.5 yards. He's not crazy good at kick offs. Legs was crazy poor at them. I wouldn't be against him being in camp next year or on the pr. But he can't punt and can't kick fgs. At this point he looks a year away from being a year away. We can't just keep running him out for fgs knowing he will miss more than he makes.

I think ott will stick with their young guys. Sleeper pick maybe ssk gets in and does and double trade like we did with Glenn back in the day.
-
Checking in each day waiting to see news of him being cut.
-
He has room go grow in run play design for Harris. But man he's been calling some great stuff the last month and a half. Major optimism that buck can become one of the best ocs in the cfl.

Toronto and maybe before the trade dead line.

Only if he catches it. Also by the time the ball is in the air and the camera pans the d has shifted. Collaros was 1 for 8 throwing to Darvin. He had a good 4 bad drops. Just 18 for 37 throwing to him this year. Darvin is bowman esq this year.

I was at kevin kelley coaching clinic down south years ago and and late in the day he talked briefly about making his position coaches flip and coach opposite positions for a week once a year. It was such an interesting concept. I think it's a great idea to have a guy like suberman coach wrs. Imo catching is like shooting free throws in basketball. It's all about reps. Wrs gotta spend a considerable amount of time with a jugs machine and qb throwing go em. But that's really an individual thing. Generally guys with great hands are guys who put in all the extra work they can.

The only issue with leggs is his kick offs suck. But we can't use a di on kick offs and can't suffer mourtadas kicking any more.

It's better than once in a generation level defense. We've had 1 or 2 pick 6s and only given up 2 passing td. Qbs have as good a chance of giving us a td as throwing for one against us.
-
Maybe in the als dynasty for a brief moment. That cover 0 d and every one on the offense getting 1k yards. But even then I feel like the rest wasn't soo far behind With out the culture or discipline too. That's the biggest thing.

Qft. I feel like if we ranked the venues for football in the cfl it might be depressing though. All year should've been Maier time. Bombers dominate riders lose again. Life is freaking good.

4th place in the west.

It's a two horse race between ksb and alford for roty. But ksb has been solid and alford has been an all star.

Truth. Mo was the most underrated player in his years here. Both are crazy versatile. Mo was a guy who could return and do more on teams. Ba hits like a truck. It's pretty damn close between the two of them. You couldn't go wrong with either one really. But mos career latest just 4 years. Ba is 28 and this is already his 4th year here. Im sure ba will end up with a better career here in the long run.

Bailey looked great on the two runs too. He's turning into an imp demski. He's a damn human wall. This. Harris runs down the pick. Every one gives it all every play whistle to whistle. It's beautiful to watch. Usually teams are lucky to have 1 wr who is an excellent blocker. It's a prerequisite here. Winnipeg is a serious hot spot for dbs. For the rest of the league and the NFL. Cus alford is gonna get an NFL deal as soon as he's able. Nichols too.

That's right. He retired and was out of football for a year after he tore up his knee. Macs family is close to his and I think modestly related. Mac talked to him and he wanted to play again. No one else kicked the tires they didn't know he was interested. Idk what will happen but some thing will give. Bryant turns 36 next year. Neufeld will turn 33 in December but has 10 seasons on his body. You never know with either guy. They've both seen soo much action for an ol a 2nd ring might leave them wanting to ride off into the sunset. We've also had to replace young ol pretty consistently. Suhk goosen and speller. Pretty much 1 a year.

I've watched a few of his games. He's like a more athletic Eli. He is scary good. Turns dl inside out and blocks out more than one guy at times. Being a bit slimmer suits him well. If he dropped another 10 lbs he's a tackle.
