  1. We have the 2nd worst FG % in the league. Hamilton is the only team with a worse fg% than us. BC who started for two weeks the worst kicker in the league, is 3 spots ahead of us. Yamasaki in BC 2 weeks 4/8 fgs 1/2 xpt. legs 2 games 1/4 in fgs and 5/8 for the year on xpts. To further put that into context Crappy was 3/5 and 7/7. Domagala is 6/8 on the season. Paredes, lauther, whyte, ward, bede, cote and camacho have 1 miss in a combined 54 attempts. in the entire 19 season, medlock missed 1, whyte missed 2, lirim missed 2, paredes missed 1, ward missed 2, castillo missed 2, lauther missed 4, crappy missed 1, and bede missed 2. Missing 3 in 3 games is bad. Tldr our fg/XPT this year might not be the the worst in the league, but it is solidly in the very bottom tier. I dont think any un fair comparisons are being made. I could tear into his net yards punting, kick offs and regular shanks too. The kid needs to be taken off the burner and given limited duties for a bit. You just cant be below the westwood line in kicking during the modern era.
  2. I shouldve just written bighill instead of biggie for clarity. Hes been a monster again this year. Id say even better than the year before last. For ROTY, I know Nichols doesnt count. He played in the NFL a couple games and then the XFL which I think counts. I dont know if sayles counts due to also NFL PR time and AAFL and XFL play. But Alford I guess would be our top ROTY candidate. For a 23 year old rookie in the truest sense of the word what he's doing is nuts.
  3. He actually reminded me a lot of jamie stoddard to talk with but yeah he had no lack of confidence. Atleast until the drops struck. Geoff drover though, I always thought he was a good guy. And the couple games he played DB for us he actually played pretty well. That also reminds me of eric wilson playing both ways for us. That guy was a beast.
  4. Playing ott 4 times is going to pad VA's stats and record. Other wise It really should be between collaros and one of our defenders, biggie WJ or JJ.
  5. Warner 1.0 was a beast at end. Warner in 06 with brown was solid. Guy came back too big. Like 285 lbs. Its too bad brown, warner, and denny fortney didnt play together. Thatd be a pretty good fight vs this dl. s2 was pretty good. K9 wouldve been a lot better if he didnt become kamau incompletterson here. Ryland wickmans dad was cool. Didnt we have some ones mom at one point too? I dont think that one ended well lol.
  6. Things have been really quiet in reference to agudosi. He's such an exceptional miss match candidate. On top of being freakishly big and long, he's got tremendous jumping, and agility/quickness numbers. A decent 40 time for his size too. No one who reports on the bombers talks about how these guys do in camp or practice much any more. Maybe they view him as a long term project, he didnt see a lot of reps in college. But the best teacher is play time. Id love to see a 5'10 db cover him at 6'6 with a long reach 10' plus broad and 40" plus vert. His catch radius must be as big as a redwood tree.
  7. This. Also, we were out coached and executed which is heavily coaching reliant. More than just out played.
  8. I think its just a question of when he is healthy and sharp. Gotta remember he is still 28 years old.
  9. I dont think either of those guys would win a spot over meredith if healthy. Mcknight got a look and got sent back to the PR over bailey when he was struggling. I would not have him cemented in place.
  10. Hes in winnipeg, as he lives here. But he was released to get healthy and sharp on his own time. If he had been 6 games or less away I think he would've stayed on the IR. Im sure at worst he will be in camp next year. If he was gonna be a couple weeks away I doubt roosevelt would be here. But since we picked up namaan the Wrs have stepped up any way.
  11. Right to the end of the game. I rewatched the offensive series last night after being at the game and was already tired of it. Holy crap I feel bad for any one who had to watch the best game of the year so far and listen to him drone on. The great thing about watching games on tsn.ca is I can sync up OB to the stream easier. Imo forde would be better on the panel. He's not the most eloquent, or loquacious guy but his insight is pretty good. Have him do a players corner thing similar to how the big NFL shows have a coaches segment on another set. Waiting for some of these old dogs to age out at TSN. I hope their careers arent longer than my life span.
  12. Wonder when the last time we had 2 missed converts missed a field goal and had an illegal kick off was. But to be fair I didnt get the long field goal attempt into that awful swirling wind. And no way we shouldve kicked the ball deep from the 55. That shouldve been an onside kick, or onside squib kick. I have no doubt that legs isnt hearing any thing any media or social media is saying about his performance. His own regrets would be what ring out loudest. No one wants to have a performance like that. Its hard for kickers to stay out of their own head at the best of times. They arent giving up on him any time soon. Im sure he will have a chance to win back the kicking job later in the season or in TC next year at the worst. Trying to take on all 3 roles as a true rookie is nuts.
  13. This is what happens when ever a player doesnt officially retire. They remain on the pending retirement FA list forever. Most of those guys still have pages on cfl.ca too. As in bell was supposed to be the savior of the franchise. Even around the league back then media thought it was the teams fault not his cus he was putting up numbers.
  14. Bell was odd. Met him a few times always understated and that southern Dixie golly shucks Mr thing. But he's had a real good coaching career. Actually reminds me of Dave Ritchie as a coach. Imo the most over rated qb ever. No matter what he always got done less than you needed. Even in good games. But guys like that and Dinwiddie etc qbs that didnt work out make the best ocs a lot of the time.
  15. Almost 90 percent in college. Kickers are fickle as hell. Medlock was sub 70 percent in the NFL. Frickin way she goes.
  16. The infamous test tube qb.
  17. True, they are both brutal, but that whole line is. SVR or no I expect our boys to feast and give harris alot to pout about.
  18. Could be worse actually. Dude hasnt played since 18. 1 week of practice to get in shape and sharp after that long off is not realistic. Plus its a change on the OL. Those take time to show dividends.
  19. We used it briefly with milt and glenn but yeah its not been our jam in the modern era.
  20. Remember bruce eugene for the riders? like 6'0 320lbs. Which reminds me of Jerome haywood. 5'8 300 lbs. That guy was great to watch.
  21. That type of thing is really hard to learn or improve with out hands on long term access. Hilarious. Most teams are too busy running through that swiss cheese front of theirs to put up 300 yards. Ott almost beat them. Maier had no trouble with them. BLM looked bad and had no trouble with them. Theyve had a huge benefit of playing the most compromised passing games in the league thus far. Ott, nichol is crippled. Bc, Reillys arm looks like its gonna fall off. BLM, playing on a broken leg missing stuff thatd shock nichols. Mtl and cal hung 30 points on em. Which this year is like 50. Willy jefferson has as many picks as their whole team! The elk havent played any one yet, but theyre about to.
  22. You mean like ricky ray and terry vaughn + ed hervy? That type of timing slant is really hard to defend. Fajardo has used that as a major crutch too, especially last year.
  23. If by hype you probably mean tee martin, if you mean really tall im not sure.
  24. A guy like flex te bucky hodges. He had a solid career at virginia tech. Bounced around the NFL but didnt get much of a shot. 6'6 260 and crazy, crazy athletic. 40 inch vert, massive broad jump 4.5 speed. And he was originally a dual threat QB, he can run the rock and do all kinds of things. Had a cup of coffee in the XFL but hes sittin at home. There are a TON of guys like that sitting around. If they were DEs half the cfl would have them on the NL on skill set alone. But thats OT. Remember Tony Ortiz? Mr TC / pre season MODP. I swear he was up here in camp 4 times. I think he broke camp once but didnt do much.
  25. St chris the strevelator was his own thing. Though also thoroughly enjoyable. He was like a FB with HB speed playing QB. I want the OL/DT sized guy who runs, catches, and blocks.
