Thanks. I wonder if they end up making it more loose like ni status

I mean I can't see him being less than McKnight or Nelson. And he is a guy who can be the final wr on the roster. He doesn't need to be force fed touches. Collaros having had a strong connection with him In the past is great too. Any one know why he wouldn't qualify as global. I really don't know the standards.
-
Yeah. More of a possession Robert Gordon type. But in our system every one is lol. That's the cfl. Remember when Brian Bennett was the second coming when they grabbed him up lol
-
Nope he's slower than woli. This is a great point. Wasn't Zach his qb when he was at his best too.

If demski is gonna be out a while I think he upgrades the bottom end of the wr core. Or if darvin adams is gonna be out for a bit. Its never a bad thing to add a 1k yards capable wr. Hes a good pro, real solid technical guy. Not a fast guy though. I miss all the speed tool guys we had last year. Mtl is really deep at wr though. So then he qualifies as a global player yeah?

Never was disclosed. It seemed his decision to leave the team in week 3 or 4 after it happened to rehab at home on his own was not received that well. Looking at what hes done since then, and the fact hes still 27 If he wanted to be playing now Im sure he could be.

GDT - Week 4 - The Stamps (1-2) @ The Champs (2-1)

It takes a while honestly. Its also some thing zach needs to adjust on a bit. Doesnt need to throw a 100mph on a 5 yard come back. Ive seen riffle armed QBs break wrs fingers repeatedly doing that. They can pull him off but its a bad sign ya. Good question I dont know but itd be cool to find out. -
Idk old logo is kinda strange. Hes a 30 year old kicker with very little pro experience and not good college numbers. played in 3 or 4 games for an IFL team this year. Which dont seem to really kick field goals. They ran out 5 or 6 kickers this year but he was the best of them. Maybe hes a kick off specialist? Idk. Sergio castillo is a FA and felix menard briere could be had off of BCs PR.

For part of week 1 I thought they were just gonna let a lot go. Then down came the hammer. Idk if it was an over reaction or always planned. But I wouldnt be surprised to see it change again after LDC. They do have a bunch of new bodies working together so yeah it should get better with time.

Right now I think the refs have hurt the most from the missed season. Most every game just has atrocious flow and we arent seeing consistency. I dont care if this is holding or thats holding, or pi etc, as long as its called consistently play to play game to game and week to week.
-
I wouldnt be surprised. But yeah hes still grinding hard to get that kind of gains as a big heavy athlete. Juice isnt the short cut people think it is, it is a short cut but its a success modifier. If you arent already succeeding you arent gonna do any better on any thing. He could probably start at OL for a few teams in the cfl right now lol.

Sucks the guy is hurt, but im glad the bills are keeping him around. He deserves the look. Thanks for the clarification. He returned a little bit for calgary and a little bit in college. Hes not a returner by trade but hes quick and shifty with just enough experience to do it. I dont think we ever heard what his injury was, Idk why we didnt keep him on the IR instead unless it was gonna be more than 6 games. Id like to see agudosi get some looks too. I doubt naaman has stuck around. Im pretty meh on him too. Michel would fit in nicely with our demski role and capable returnman could be a good fit.

I was gonna make an HGH joke instead but honestly he put on soo much lean weight soo fast year to year here and hes been out of football soo long its not actually that much. The guy is an athletic anomaly. Every poster here could do all the supplements in the world and never jump out of a pool backwards. I wish he had the desire to excel at football that he does to be a swole monster. But good for him, glad hes doing well in his post football life.

Its a far cry from the hurry up offense we'd run under plop when we got an offensive miss match. Our offensive tempo is stuck in NFL pre season mode. Iirc they can only review plays during stoppages. They arent stopping games in the flow any more. So injuries, scores, turn overs etc are automatically reviewed. I never heard that they went back to using slow mo n such, But I believe this year they clearly are. Other wise especially a play like adams touched touch down wouldnt be possibly to even consider over turning. I dont think the CC is executing their job well this year.

Right now hes also 3rd in the league and 16 yards behind first. And tied for first in td catches. If the CC hadnt blown that call he'd be first in yards tds and catches. He and collaros are connecting at about a 70% rate despite a couple drops.(eric rogers is at 62%,same as lemar durant, eugene lewis is at 44, 75-80% is elite and once the drops sort out he will get back to that.) As is hes on track for some thing like just shy of 1200 yards and 7 tds in the shortened season. Our teams has not been good in blocking or kick cover. That said nelson is insanely indecisive. He looks slow and a shell of his pre injury 2019 form. Teams will come around, we saw a lot of turn over in the depth NI on the roster. But I dont think any kind of blocking will help nelson. He only makes guys miss if hes standing still and never gets up to speed. Hes playing like a poor mans wayne mcgarity. That was mostly him forcing the ball down field. We seldom had more than 1 guy deep and the defense converged on them all night. His deep passes were on point, despite forcing into double and triple cover none where much of a threat to be picked. Its just him trying to do what he does best and our play call does worst. He shouldve had like 350 yards and 3 tds pretty easy last night. Drops and the Command center screwed him. He played pretty great, though he was throwing the short stuff with the force of a deep ball, which makes it hard to catch. But most of the in completions werent poor passes. It would be scary if he had an OC that pushed the ball down field. -
A few happened. Harris was shredding their standard defense early, Cal adjusted with run blitzes and gap cancellation in running downs. We ran a few heavy set formations and their adjustments didnt beat it. But our passing offense is pretty limited with 3 wrs on the field. The 2nd quarter was the hole in our run game. We ran harris 4 times for 8 yards with a long of 5 in the 2nd. Vs 5 for 37 and a td in the first quarter. The drops killed a couple drives in the 2nd quarter, and we fell into a rhythm of running 2nd and long plays on first down and 1st down short passes on 2nd. (the plop approach). We got back into the run first scheme late in the 3rd 3 rushes for 23 yards. And 6 for 21 in the 4th. We needed better use of play action, and screen passes to force the calgary defense out of the box. And to run some off tackle stuff when they stack the box. Instead we ran right into the teeth of defensive adjustments in the 2nd quarter. Out side of that quarter harris went 14 for 73 which is over 5 yards per carry. And that included multiple runs back to back and late in the game into goal line defense. If we dont get into a funk with the drops and play calling harris probably has a monster game. He certainly didnt look tired or slow late in the game if any thing he ran angry after the stamps DL used him as a pull out mattress and had a nice long nap on him. We should add a shovel pass to the offense. Collaros looks great running and throwing on the run. Adding a power toss would be a great way to get harris out side of a stacked box in a hurry and on some DBs. The return of screen passes and release valve game would add alot, though they need to be faster screens. No one is falling for these long slow developing screen plays of ours. Finally some better use of the play action and draw would open things up a lot. Teams will cheat for the run hard against us. We can use that to our advantage in a big way.

holy crap.

If he's playing hcf short zones lined up at an olb spot he can do that but not more and even then it's poor usage. We should've sat tobi and dressed an imp db.

Probably what happens. But if we don't adjust to what they do offensively they will sweep us. Not only are they the best timing route and seam attacking passing game they have the best running qb and a strong balanced offense over all. We can handle that ol if we can make Fajardo hold the ball long enough. Big moment for our coaches -
It isnt. He just isn't being put in a position to play to his strengths. He should be dropping back a lot on pass downs playing a shadow mid zone. He should not be blitzing a lot or playing sam.

Im worried about the riders the next two weeks though. They are better than to and cal. And they do what those teams did well against our d as their bread and butter. We will need to have the best coached and executed game of the year so far to win. -
Leggs said the miss he just got too much under it. And he saw the clock run out. Glad he dug us out of it though. Mentally tough especially for a rookie. Mcguire is the holder.

Not if its at your ankles, or a few footballs behind your body. Superior size and athleticism allow guys to make plays look closer than they were. And also, double or triple cover. Even if you touch it its not a drop. Or if the db is on you with hands inside your arms. You can touch it, but its not a drop. Collaros does throw the short stuff like its a 50 yard bomb. Which especially on come backs isnt easy. That can contribute to croc arms. He had 2 badly behind him last week and one nearly bounce. All our wrs do. But when lawler and woli are having trouble, and all the wrs are having trouble its not talent or one or two guys. We have larger problems contributing to the drops. I believe it. He has been a fraction of the player he normally is in his 2 games. Id rather they get him healthy than he play banged up. We dont use patterns to create openings. We dont attack the middle or the seams and we havent been using play action well which is what we normally depend on. We have been massively reliant on outs and come back routes and at this point every team knows it. The same way our slow developing screen game seldom yields big plays. -
I credit collaros for throwing down field on those, we didnt open up the play call or any thing though. 2 deep throws and not really designed deep plays.

On d. Not soo much on O. And then randomly mid way through the 4th we went back to what didnt work.
