I think it was because of the post snap movement. Calgary seemed to have it read pre snap.

Sounds like some of the toxic ass riderfans i've seen occasionally trying to defend the hit on him and angry about the 4 games of suspensions. No mater the fan base, no room in any place for trash like that.

Week 6 - Game Day GIF Thread - Stumps @ Champs - Put Your Gifs in here
I thought he had done a magnificent job to get rid of it and keep us in fg range. Then boom, endzone tip toe catch by adams. It was at that time that the argos and riders knew they done goofed. And I knew we wouldn't be stopped. (and I was the biggest doubter of that trade ever.) The harris shuffle game was my now wifes first. She thought I was crazy for being up soo late on a work night to watch the delay game. After that she was all in. She's known only brilliant success for the bombers and is handily confident we will win the next 10 or so grey cups. Thus far shes always been right so I hope it continues.

Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
Few things are more frustrating in football then watching a big, long wr body catch passes. A big guy can pretty much carve a career out of the bare minimum talent and athleticism by getting down field and attacking the ball with their hands. Kenny lawler has done it brilliantly. He has better then minimum athleticism and much better talent, but by no means is he a freak or a great athlete. He's polished, smart, tough, and knows that the key tradecraft of a wr is hands. If a guy is 4+" taller than you, even when he's blanket covered he has the same advantage as having a step on you. If hes much longer too, its 2 or 3 steps. QFT.

These guys are playing make believe. They don't have the money or any real asset. All they have done is hold their hands out hoping for money to come into one, and a football franchise into the other. If they aren't able/willing to pay the start up costs, they won't be willing/able to maintain the franchise through its first fist full of years. Having a 10th team and one on the east coast is worth less than the global draft. He's right. Except, I dont think that will ever change.

Week 6 - Game Day Thread - Stumps @ CHAMPS!!
Darvin adams was the guy who set the tone for wrs on this team for a long time. He is a large part of why we had soo many great blocking wrs the past two years especially. This year it's taken a noticeable step back. Ellingson is kind of soft on blocks, and schoen is still very new. But being such a great vocal leader I expect Bailey will be the guy who takes that over and elevates the other wrs blocking as the year wares on. It takes time for guys to buy in, especially a successful vet like ellingson. But it'll happen. Even last year we would frequently take woli and adams off in heavy sets but bailey was on at every chance to block. I'm sure buck and collaros will be looking to get bailey more involved in the offense as things progress. Duke has taken over as the new no1, and teams have been sleeping hard on schoen. As teams adjust to them, bailey will see more action.

yep. before the returner catches it the lines can't move.- TSN Fantasy - 'MBB 2022'
I think my year to date would be a solid week lol.- Week 6 - Game Day Thread - Stumps @ CHAMPS!!
Lol right? I keep getting these horrid articles by these outlier wanna be 3dn pages that don't seem to have even a basic understanding of how Canadian football works. Maybe its a good sign that media for the cfl is growing, people are rejecting TSN and the tripe on cfl.ca. Hes due for a big game. Hasn't seen a lot of balls but hasn't struggled like early last year either.- Week 6 - Game Day Thread - Stumps @ CHAMPS!!
FB is a cesspool. Couldn't ask for more from a return man really. He's makes the smart play, catches the ball when ever possible, runs north south as much as possible, and he runs hard. Get that man some more offensive touches. Teams are soo focused on grant now the fade away fake return or reverse could be deadly right now.- Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
Seeing his impressive physicality on those teams plays I'd waggle him tight to the line and leave the sam wondering if he was going to break off a route, or smash him into the dirt with a block on a run play. I'm torn on it personally. Doesnt' look like you'd get much of a chance to score or get a big return. Also as a fan in the stands it's over soo quick it'd be kinda dull after the time it takes to line up. But it does seem much safer.- Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
I get it. Usually for me the reverse is an exciting trigger. When I see a Wr signed of a milt stature (6'0, 190 range) I expect their skill set to be great. At most positions when I see a big athletic guy I wonder what the catch is. I just don't think the NFL is enamored with tall wrs. I wonder if when stanback gets healthy if he's on the block. He could be a guy ready for the play off push or he could be gone till next year, all depends on the nature of that break and how he recovers. But I could see the bombers being interested in acquiring him at the deadline. Send one of the two NI backs to montreal so they can lock in rb as a long term NI spot with Jeshrun.- 2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News
An MD, and he's an nfl vet of 8 years with 50 starts. He put his NFL career on hold to do his residency. This is just a PR move, that's why no actual value changed hands. He isn't going to play and do that. If he wanted to go back to football he could get on half the teams in the NFL right now if not more.- Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
100%. That toughness, selflessness, football iq, and drive is classic mafia stuff. I'd bet the house that's why he's still here instead of one of the other younger very talented young wrs from camp.- Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
A good chunk of guys float around a long while on having great tools. But those guys seldom get shots. Especially at the "skill" positions. Mbt did very little in HS or college but kicked around half the NFL based on practice performances and great raw tools. Once coaches turn over, or a year or two goes by and you see a bunch more of those high tools guys the old ones fall away. The nfl never really went crazy with the giant wrs. So despite their general bigger is better thing wrs don't seem to gain a lot of value for being above 6'3. Too many busts on guys like matt jones. Even in the XFL he didn't get much of a chance. He's a career PR guy with impeccable tools but who hasn't really gotten a chance. This is the best chance and probably his last chance if he doesn't show well. - Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves
