  1. Designate strevereler as a RB then put him on the field at the same time as collaros and harris. I want to say they used to have a rule against that but I think it was tossed out not sure though. If any thing after the last year, teams will want to carry 3 qbs. You should go back and look at the interview in TC with the riders. It was a small sample size, but this is easily the single biggest mental turn around for a QB ive ever seen in any league or level. Hes gone from DOA to a good pick of teams where he will have a good chance to start.
  2. when we are starting deep in hamilton territory it doesnt matter though does it?
  3. medlock 6 plop 2. Of those drives that scored 4 started deep in Hamilton territory, 1 was a long ball based drive the rest were close to mid field.
  4. Except for the entire secondary especially sayles and rose, and our only Imp tackles and key stone to the Ol, 🙄
  5. Itll be interesting to see if we try to retain as much of the core as possible or re tool.
  6. Not with 8 turn overs and 4 drives starting in enemy territory. The red zone play calling was poor.
  7. Thats the damned truth. At times selling out for hits bit us in the butt, but not nearly as much as it helped bury the cats. It was the most complete and physical performance weve had in years. They left every thing on the field and it showed in the result.
  8. A bunch of fgs from deep in the red zone too. While starting drives at the hamilton 50 twice, 41, and 24 with out getting a td on any of those drives. 6 drives of 4 or fewer plays, and harris shouldve gotten more carries. Not to mention we shouldve included more deep stuff for collaros. It was a solid game call. With a few really good play calls. But over all Id say it was a bit better then par for the course in a lapo offense. At this point I dont think buck would do any worse.
  9. I wouldnt say 7 field goal attempts with many from deep in enemy territory is a great game. The streveler package was used too much and to too little direct effect. We took our own offense out of sync some times keeping him in too long. We had 6 drives of 4 plays or fewer, Failed to score tds starting from the hamilton 50, 50,41, and 24. With medlock thats starting in FG range and ending in FG range. With how well collaros tosses the deep ball and how well our wrs played we shouldve been stretching the field more too. Harris had a monster game, but had 18 carries. If a guys averaging 7 and a half yards a carry / touch, FEED HIM.
  10. Was he actually a track guy? He is certainly that type of athlete, and the prototype of what we look for at Wil. He has tremendous athletic ability and motor. He gets in on the back end of a lot of defensive plays. He had a really impressive run down from behind tackle on some one fast in calgary iirc too. https://www.silverandblackpride.com/2016/5/10/11644816/2016-oakland-raiders-udfa-profile-fresno-state-lb-kyrie-wilson-hopes-elite-athleticism-sets-apart One thing that jumps out about Wilson are his measurables. Amongst linebackers that participated in the combine, Wilson would have ranked 5th in the 40-yard dash, 3rd in the bench press, 1st in the vertical jump, 6th in the broad jump and 3rd in the three-cone drill. Wilson has insane top end speed, banks has killer acceleration/quicks and really good top end speed. Guys with top end speed will make plays that surprise you. My personal favorite of all time is 325lbs OL larry allen for the cowboys running down a Lber from behind.
  11. Yep great down field passer.
  12. I heard it was some thing to do with a rider fan, go figure. Any word on his injury? I was thinking it looked like the scary kinda knee injury.
  13. 🤣 Really though, why couldnt they do this on saturday at noon?
  14. He is good, but hes as big a head case as he is a talent. Duron carter esq. If he had Harris' work ethic, heart and physicality he would be a pro-bowler.
  15. I think maas is toast. Finally. I can not see maas' ego taking the hit going down to OC. Would love to see dyce get the promo, very well deserved.
  16. Wish they had it on the weekend.
  17. Its gonna be a teary week.
  18. Tbh collaros ability to throw up 50/50 deep balls was the difference maker in our passing offense, and it didnt adapt to his skill set. Nor did it to strevelers. Id rather see Buck take over as OC then see lapo back. I think Hall earned another contract. I dont think lapo will be back.
  19. Good for khari. The off season of 2020 is going to be about who has the hindsight to pick the right qbs (ill show my self out). A lot of damaged goods qbs right now, and a bunch of young guys who showed they can play. Swing for the fences with the wrong guy its gonna look really bad. Nichols, Streveler, Fajardo, Reilly, and Masoli, all have serious recoveries before next season. And Collaros health will always be a question for as long as he plays. I think we will see lapo in BC. With wilder jr. I think Masoli and condell go to ott. I think ott also goes with a gm like RIngmaden. And gets a good back up. Maybe a nichols level former starter. Toronto seems like it is gonna try to build on what it has. I think Calgary will move on from BLM and stick with Arbuckle. And itll be interesting to see where he ends up.
  20. Dont agree. Im sure he will try and get a deal, but I dont see any NFL team wanting him after the year he just had. I could see him in BC, with lapo.
  21. I agree. Though I do like arbuckle, I think calgary may finally move one from BLM and keep arbuckle. That is the most calgary thing to do. Any one know the contract status of MBT? That could be an interesting name in FA, Itd be interesting to see what he could do on a good team.
  22. Sucked on the west division, got the east division right though. And the GC, the most important part. But its my pick every year lol. Big miss on bighill and lucky, and cam judge. Though judge did have a nice season. Number of wins wrong in hamilton but other wise pretty good. But picking ottawa to crash and burn was a gimmie. Same with Reed. All in all it was an incredible back and forth season. Seemingly half the league spent time as the best team in the league. A bunch of young qbs played great and will fuel the league for years to come. And most importantly, bombers won the gc!
  23. Haha finally got around to that 2002 unfinished business.
  24. They can give rings to whom ever they want. Some teams do draws for season ticket holders down south.
  25. I can't wait to see what Kongbo does next year with a full TC. He had some really big performances for us this year already.
