League cuts we should take a look at
If rose is out I’d bring him in. If he’s ok I’d pass.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
Every year we have that guy. Some one mos / the mafia love over more talented guys. Some times it works out some times it doesnt. At this point as long as he isn’t ahead of schoen It’s just the usual.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
A bit surprised and disappointed to see borsa gone. Hell get snapped up fast. Maybe by Toronto. also surprised Lofton made the cut. All 3 qbs stay with none on the pr. I’m sure with the ir some shuffling is still to be had. guess the secondary will be glass Rutledge nichols rose and Taylor. With Hallets and Thompson at s. Maybe ford or Houston as dime. Kind of disappointed that McKnight made it over some of the young wrs but not surprised.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
I’m kind of surprised he hasn’t gotten far more consideration as a dc and ast hc or even a hc. we will one day have a very tough decision to go young-Er or watch him walk. I wonder if there is a possibly role promotion that he would want.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
The S change was huge. It was as much an addition by subtraction and then replacing that spot with the best S in the league. But mos and hall made a bunch of tweaks mid season too. Younger deserves credit too. The team moving on from dbs like fogg and heath who didn’t buy in for un proven and under rated guys that did was huge too.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
Darby was awesome and he’s extremely versatile. But at the number he got in free agency I don’t think any db other than rose will get close to. I mean ba was under 90k. The mafia is just too good at finding guys that are really under valued and that fit into the system right away. As good as Darby is our next man up will be as good maybe even better. Not to mention younger and cheaper.

Pre-Season Game 2 - Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan - Tuesday May 31
Very true. I feel like most trades in the cfl end up being extremely one sided

I think they will get pr looks. biggest surprise is the left tackle Lofton wasn’t cut. He was freaking brutal all game.

Pre-Season Game 2 - Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan - Tuesday May 31
Elaborate motion with check down routes is not an open offense. And at that it wasn’t rpo. He deployed no read. It was stretching laterally in every area of the field. Which makes it easier to defend a running qb. nichols never had a big arm but pre injury his arm was still pretty tame. Go back and watch the play offs in 2017. He has guys wide open tosses and they have to break then run back to the ball. He couldn’t hit guys in stride down field. Didn’t have the touch for medium long or the arm for long shots. His most productive year in the 17 he averaged like 250. I think he sat the last game so a bit higher but not 300. 6 300 yard games in 16 out of 14 starts 7 in 17 with 18 ish starts 1 in 19 with 16 starts. 1 in 15 in 9 appearances.

Ok actually you may be right. But I think edm got some value Toronto basically just gave every thing to us for nothing.

Pre-Season Game 2 - Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan - Tuesday May 31
He forced passes because we was in the most stifling passing offense in modern football history. Streveler is not a dink and dunk passer. Plop had him doing this terrible fake rpo check down junk. He didn’t even use strevelers running ability well. Tds do not indicate how many deep balls you throw or how well you do it. Fajardo has create a lot of tds but can’t toss a deep ball to save his life. bond came in at guard and was mol quality and hardrick went from struggling at g to excelling at rt at the same time as nichols came in. We went from 10+ pressures and 4+ sacks a game to under 2-3 pressures with games with no pressures and no sacks. Andrew Harris was averaging 2ypc behind the other ol set up. Ol turned this team around and is the basis of the success. Not qb. Most one sided trade in league history

Maybe. Idk If the usfl hasn’t folded by the time the xfl is signing players it’s going to need to do some thing to set it self apart. I could see them creating their scale in a way that gives them the ability to ****** some guys. I hope that’s true. I would love to see him back here. that is interesting. That itch is strong especially in a guy like him. To have the chance to come into the front runner with a great line and support would be tremendous. But the culture is tight too. He’s have to be a fifo guy.

Maybe a none significant guy like McKnight or maybe miller. Thanks Perhaps prukop. though with the curse of the free agent vet wr maybe ellingson would be a bet to consider.

The usfl sure won’t out pay the cfl. But idk about the xfl.

Pre-Season Game 2 - Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan - Tuesday May 31
In the cfl buck or dinwiddie. Trestman or June jones could possibly work as well. But they are as likely to bust as boom I wonder if the usfl of xfl will go after him.

Forecast 2022 Season: Rankings
wbb, ham, ssk, to, mtl, cal, edm, bc, ott. And the too early season prediction. Winnipeg. Offense has its best year under the mafia era and the dark side does its thing. Edmonton. The year of arbuckle and a decent OL wit ha decent chris jones D leads the way to a distant second. Saskatchewan. Another step back for fajardo and the run game. Calgary. Fights hard to stay out of the basement after a bad start during the final days of BLM as a starter. BC. Too much too soon too fast at qb, and buying pieces doesn't create a defensive culture. Toronto. Depth and defense with a solid but not great offense. QB controversy continues to haunt MBT> Montreal. I see a lot of controversy at qb, but enough firepower to beat up on the bottom feeders. Ottawa. A semi healthy masoli propels the RBs to the fringe of the play offs. Hamilton. No qb depth, lost their best defensive player and have been trending down on offense since june jones left. The weight of the years of failure in the play offs brings down the house of cards. The dream would be a sask cross over and prairie grey cup. But I think itll be a TO bomber grey cup.

Yeah he had a few really good drives with arizona. We never used streveler well. His tool set and athletic ability are tremendous but so is his work ethic and toughness. Give that guy an agreeable OC that can actually coach qbs and the helm of a team. He'll be better than fajardo and take his team to the play offs and wont lose it for them.

3 stars plus hh battle of the backups
If you arent fast enough to get the db out of his back peddle you aren't taking the top off. Its 100% about having enough speed, then about having the trade craft / polish to put the db in a bad position then explode. If you have elite speed you can take the top off but wont be consistent doing it. You can make up for top end speed with explosive quickness and by being crafty. But a guy like jamie stoddard or robert gordon could never be a guy who does it even as consistently as the random track guy with minimal football experience. Grant has the explosiveness, but isn't a top gear kind of guy.

3 stars plus hh battle of the backups
That’d be wicked. Given the fact no one is saying any thing and the report was it isn’t season ending the boot may be really preventative. I sure hope that’s the case. honestly most of the dbs looked capable of executing their role in the hall coverage scheme. I’m not too worried about the spots we have to fill.

Ooh any one familiar with that site? I wouldn’t mind replacing tsn on line with it during the cfl season.

Yeah it’s been a big waste of his talent already. I hope our offense evolves and grows and that we keep as many of these blue chip imp wrs as we can. The tell tale sign of a team with bad management is cutting and under using good players. It’s stunning how they missed on him. What an amazing win fall for us. And a guy who can contribute on teams right away too.
