3 stars plus hh world beating blue bombers
wbbfan replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Calgary has the answer to the pressure from our front. Ssk doesn't however -
1 the DBS. Physical, broke up a lot or passes and lots of turn overs 2 the two qb system. Soo much heart from steveler insane 3 Adams with the big td HH demski on a great TD run

The return of the world beating blue bombers from earlier this year. Be afraid CFL.

What a catch
-
Awful spot to try and punt
-
What a dumb call to punt
-
Huge play
-
He runs block and release which forces a defender to pick him up or leave him open
-
Great kick in a tough spot. We need to be keeping steveler in for a few plays in hurry up after those short yardage conversions
-
Collaros decision making and ball placement have come back down to reality
-
We still aren't playing any one as a mlber

Alot of poor angles and poor tackling on d and teams

Youre assuming it was some thing new. It could likely be a basic supplement like creatine that hes been taking for years. It could be the same brand too. The huge majority of supplements are processed in third world countries with no standards. The same places make PEDs with the same equipment. So you get cross contamination fairly frequently. Most of the time its some thing legal with some thing legal. But sadly it happens that you get a PED contaminating a legal supplement. With the money involved the big Players associations (nba, mlb, nfl, nhl +ufc fighters) should group up to put a manufacturing plant in north america that makes only legal supplements with extremely high change over standards so you dont have any cross contamination. Then any tested athlete could buy supplements that are 100% clean and legal.

Would be a big upgrade.

Their job, was the vote for the best players in each slot. They did not do that.

Thats not really true. masking agents do work, its a matter of when testing becomes better then the masking agents. Again, you dont have masking agents for a 45+ year old body builder none designer steroid. No, they arent. The chances are very very high that he is innocent, the problem is his vindication will probably come late next year. Tainted drug cases are slow as hell.

The big thing is that todays target demographic is the type that wants an experience in their entertainment. But they are harder to lock in as hard core season ticket types. The jets split that market and make it harder still to lock them in. This age range also mostly hasnt seen a grey cup. The real issue with eating at the game isnt the price, its the combination of what you pay and what you get. People would buy more and care less if the food was better. I eat before the game. Because I dont want to pay strong prices for food worse then what you can get at gas stations. The walby burger etc address this a bit, but im in the group that finds it revolting. Its a perfect storm of trouble drawing. Imo, if you want to fill the seats and try to lock in some market share in that demographic, keep the 5 dollar beer price. And win a grey cup ofc. Maybe try to get the league to push back the start of the season as early as possible. Rather then worrying about NFL TCs, avoid as much of the NHL season as possible to maximize revenue.

Except given the test results of before and after, and how little was in his system he physically couldnt be taking it and be taking a substance contaminated with it. And that its not some thing any athlete would take as a PED. 🙄 If he did want to take a PED, with the money he makes, he would have easily been on some thing that would not pop. If he did it half assed, he would have popped for a blocker not for a ped. People dont understand that. All PEDs are not the same. It doesnt take a lot of knowledge in the field to know that this is the clearest case of a contaminated substance in pro sports history. Seriously.

BC and ottawa in the battle for the basement part 2 next year.

Unless they are driving a truck for fritos... Or bagging groceries and even older.

Rose was our 2nd best defensive player this year, and didnt have the ups and downs wj did. He was the steal of free agency.

Imo it would come down to things like team control, qb, and money. If khari comes here, is he going to be able to fully hire the guys he wants to be his Asts? Will buck be forced on him, would he want buck? Will we have a qb better then vernon adams under contract? I suspect the new owners will be more then willing to let khari run the team how he wants to. He wont be looking up at walters and miller, will have more stability at qb, and im sure he will be able to get more of the coaches cap in his pocket with them.

iirc it was family stuff and he was undecided if he would arrive late or not at all. And we never heard more.

No it isnt. And especially not in our play design. The play design and positional execution under a hall D puts little emphasis on pressure actually. You hope the front 4 get there as the last solution. This year with more inclusion from mos we see more pressure packages but despite stats, its not the first goal of the defense we run. The primary goal is to prevent scores. The primary means of forcing punts is by getting incomplete passes on 2nd down. We stop the run play and take it out of the equation as much as possible, the dbs stay in their back peddle as long as possible, hense the big cushion, that way they can break on the ball and break up passes, force turn overs and make tackles with out giving up big plays. If any thing, an ideal play design in our defense ends in a pick. But play design and execution do not detail a play ending in a sack/pick. Thats not what execution is dependent on. Execution is being in the position youre supposed to be, when youre supposed to be there and making the right decision who to pick up / when to switch off in match zone, hook-curl-flat zones etc.
