  1. Rushing tds i take it? XD, stats are extremely polarizing. Even though every one loves wins, and win/loss is just another stat. That short yardage off tackle for a td play was brilliant. knew he was gonna break one at some point.
  2. Depends on how you live. What % of the world will fail to make $700,000 in their life time? 90%?
  3. If you cant budget and spend money wisely it doesnt matter if you make 1 million a year, 1 billion a year or 20k a year. It will end up at 0 in no time.
  4. Yeah dont agree at all. Weve seen a team wide passivity with the lead and even last year mos was talking about taking more of an active role in defensive play calling. Its not just Mo who wants a job again saying it either. He took responsibility for his situation too. He didnt name names or point fingers. He didnt say younger this and mos that. Hes a guy who clearly wants to play still, and believes he can. Thats a tough situation whether he can or not. But he doesnt seem bitter and sure seems to be bang on. Its one play after we railed them for 4 offensive tds in the first half. Sure, they got a bit of momentum out of it. But we chopped the legs out from under our own horse half way through the race. Even if they didnt get that pick n score, spotting the other team the entire second half of football in the cfl doesnt work.
  5. They were, but they were trapped in a passive system that didnt adapt while montreal repeatedly exploited it in the same way.
  6. xD. Itd be interesting to see how elusive he is against Pro level athleticism.
  7. It was utterly confounding. Harris was tearing it up and had 9 carries for the game. Ive always believed that passive-very conservative football is bad football. Once you stop being aggressive you are begging to lose.
  8. Stats dont change in value when you win or lose. 100 yards passing in a win is worth as much as 100 yards passing in a loss. That is just a sad level of bitterness. Some one tell milt his career meant nothing because he didnt win. 264 yards, 84%+ completion percentage, 4 tds. If that isnt good enough to win idk what is. One pick, on an aggressive toss where the DB read it and cut on it perfectly. One other toss that was a poor toss, and a good throw away under pressure. Id take that performance from him every day of the week. Not to mention he did that while being hamstrung by plops passive offense. If we mixed in some deep balls god only knows what he could have done.
  9. I could see montreal snatching him up. With his past experience with khari, they now have an opening at OC, and both of them called plays in that stint as well. Could be a good marriage tbh, khari is aggressive down field and could compensate for Plops passivity.
  10. he isnt great, but he is a viable piece of a great defense. Honestly tackling is a problem at all 3 levels of our defense. Guys who are great tacklers on teams, and previously in their career hit or try to do lazy arm tackles. And tackling, is 100% coaching. The amount of times weve tried to pull down qbs and rbs with lazy arm tackles, taken poor angles on dump offs, and sold out for hits giving up big plays is beyond irritating. Any one in pro football is capable of very good tackling. You end up with bad tackling, when you accept it. I feel the same about effort from players getting back in on the play from the back side. We see a few guys do it, namely all 3 dts. But many others dont. When you see your 3 biggest and slowest guys on the field getting in on the back end of plays based sheerly off of hustle and frequently see pass rushers give up after losing the angle on the play, its the same issue as tackling. It happens because guys get away with it. With the amount of rotation we do in the front 7 no one should be soo tired they are slower then the DTs. If you arent getting that extended push from the front 7, rotating is wasted.
  11. I can see him frequently repeating a similar level of success to here, contender and play off team level offense. But over all the years he has been here he hasnt taken or even hinted at taking the next step forward to be able to play call for a championship team. If he was the OC and buck or some one else called the plays his offense could get it done. Its his adjustments, frequently out thinking himself and no one else, and passivity with a lead that hold him back. He got it done as a WR coach, but has been run out of every city hes been in.
  12. We stretch the field soo well side line to side line and through the running gaps throwing down field and at the seams would be huge.
  13. You play to win the game. Plop in the 2nd half of games play calls to not lose it. You can maintain winning seasons doing that, but you dont win championships that way. Thats how you get run out of town by the same team for a 3rd time.
  14. He cant cover deep. He isnt as athletic as loffler, so he cant cover nearly as much field. But he makes better decisions. But people were flipping their lids early this year at that notion. He started out not being challenged deep, and when you play under him he is good. When you stretch him out hes a weakness. Jones would be better as a true saftey, but Jones has had to be the extra DB this year. Cant ask hecht to cover man to man. If we could start Jones at S, use hecht situationally to his strengths and keep Imp DBs on the roster itd be much better. We really miss brandon alexander right now. Also fenner has been a liability deep. Itd be great if we brought Mo back for a look too.
  15. Kenney is an interesting one. Kicked out of school, very little college play time. But after a few years of sitting made noise in a couple nfl camps. Supposed to be a very effective pass rusher. Meffy is another long tall well built book end. I feel like they must really like these two to bring them in with our DE depth, especially since jeffcoat is close to returning. For knight, very much our pro typical qb target. Good cfl size and strength, great athletic ability, tough football player. Looks like a quick runner, more then top end fast. Younger bryan bennett, but need more work on his throwing mechanics. Interesting long term project, or a guy they are gonna cycle out pretty quick. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/trevor-knight?id=2558267
  16. Same. Kongbo nearly knocked him out of that game too with a hellacious hit. I want to see many more of those on him.
  17. If only we had opened up more deep shots for him. Dude can sling it down field.
  18. Its a sacrifice play mostly with the blitz. Less so with big hill then with our previous MLBers, but they arent designed to get him running free at the qb. They force the interior of the OL to block him with the goal of putting an end either one on one with a back, or block every rusher man to man. Though teams are running more heavy sets again these days. Thats why you frequently see in that package the DL spread soo drastically. With 2 dl over one guard and tackle, 1 dl on the nose shading the same side and 1 way over the opposite edge. It, in theory, forces the OL to either miss BIghill up the middle, or give up and angle on the edge. But it isnt good for containment, especially if 1 OL wins his battle. It would also be more effective if we showed it and dropped bighill more often. And sent bighill on a delay rush.
  19. I did. Was a good event despite the collapse. Some players really bummed out especially at the start. Events like that dont just serve to give favor to the fans, its a good boost for the team too. And they needed it. Bailey and fenners table was very lively. They had some great moments with a couple kids and a disabled fan. Every time some one whipped out the phone half of willys table would pose for pics with fans. Wolitarsky was very talkative and positive. You could tell how hard the loss was for the STs aces. Those guys sell out and bust ass to make a difference, had a rough game and we had a bad loss. But over all it was very enjoyable and up lifting for fans and the team.
  20. I dont think the brain trust will be on the same page. If we have a disappointing end to the season, I think that will lead to changes.
  21. This is the most embarrassing game in the mos era. I feel sick.
  22. Goat horns to plop and hall. For going soo conservative and wasting awful blitzes respectively. 1 Harris 2 streveler 3 DL for shutting down the Al's run game HH to the smash on Adams by kongbo
  23. I cant see Gray riding the bench over Desjarlais if healthy. I assume the scratch will be Eli.
  24. The league needs all revenue from all sources. Teams spend in the mid 20 million dollar range and hope to make 10% of that in profit.
  25. Have you seen attendance the last few years league wide? Tickets are down and revenue is steady. True, but do people spend more money at the rum hut or on tickets? A tooon of people buy cheap seats and never sit down.
