Listening to him and mos post game I don't think either saw any thing negative about the performance.

Drinking the cool aid to the point you embrace mediocrity is more rider fan Esq. Very unrealistic to think both are back in the off season. And it's almost like this is a place for discussion. I would love to see a situation where both are likely to be brought back in the off season though. Please share.

Mos guys are very hard to unseat. We've seen a lot of guys who wouldn't start on other teams entrenched here for extended periods of time. Agree with the confidence. Once you up root a qb1 for qb2 it's tough for the best QBs to come back and get it going again.

Where is that one qb? We've seen some success with split duty so I don't think it'd be bad for us. It can go bad though. Most people have aspirations for this team greater then the 8 week champions. Especially when wins are not projectable to continue.

I don't think they have any will to do that sadly. It certainly is the first look on some plays. It seems like the no2 most of the time right now. A lot of staring down the hot route then checking down.

The plop offense with Nichols as a starting qb compound weaknesses for this team. Pressure has built and dissipated this year and last. Expectations are higher then ever which is amplifying pressure. Being a steady play off team is not enough for the fan base any more. So if one has to go, who would you can? Out side of the in season issues I believe Nichols is a pending fa and plop could see HC interest continue. Streveler is a fa and will garner interest around the league as well.

All the live acts have sounded awful from my seats. Time for different entertainment. Or have a show for the concourse with out blasting the pa and have some other entertainment on the field as an option.

Expecting a qb to throw for first downs in the 4th quarter is too much?

We don't do that normally and other teams don't do that because the qb can throw for a first down to finish a game if needed. Ours can't. Nichols came back to snap and kneel after the rest of the offense did the work.

Except for the two and outs especially late. A lot of starting from mid field followed by punting from mid field too.

At this rate I expect plop or Nichols to be gone. Some one will give Nichols that kind of money for sure. And I could see him wanting to leave in the off season.

But but but passing yards are over rated! The passing games ability to consistently drive the field has been bad for years. Id love to see first downs to 2 and outs but I'm too lazy to dig it all up my self.

We don't need stomp on the throat firstly. We need a qb that can keep the chains moving and get first downs late in games to close. We could the last couple years too look how that ended. Football is not remotely the same as that era. With modern offenses and pi you slow them down you can't simply deny a good offense any more. Modern defenses mitigate damage and force turn overs. Yeah. Qb carousels are the quickest way to destabilize a team. A lateral move to change starting QBs won't fix our offense. Itd have to be a trade and a big swing for the fences. But I don't see the mafia doing any of that.

Agree with all of that. I'd add possibly going after another teams young back up to the list of options. If you are going to pull nichols for a game id deal him right away. Too fragile to go back to starting for us. Maybe MTL will over pay.

With the slant of the line it looked like a caller play all the way. Gotta limit those off tackle qb keepers though for sure.

When mathews misses you think he coulda almost just made a hero play. Like Milt would have. Darvin doesn't have the size and strength but makes more hero plays. Mathews makes physically out matched plays. Can't wait for him to be healthy again

Jefferson has really stepped up since jeffcoat went out. Nevis also with a big game. Kongbo got some nice pressure and got in on the back end of plays. He is much better then I expected for a rookie missing camp and a third of the season. Im glad it wasn't country but I'm ready to be done with D list bands. Bring back the super dogs or CrossFit or something.

It's simple. He didn't. The reality has been for a long time that we done put wrs in positions to make plays. We spray and pray.

Not when it leads them into db in a prone position.
