  1. If we win a play off game I can easily see him being a hot commodity.
  2. Wish I thought of that 😛 Id be willing to give a second rounder, if he wasnt a pending FA and was on a reasonable contract.
  3. Yeah im not sure what to make of that. I dont trust either as far as i could throw them. All I know is disney made two awesome spiderman movies and I want more. Soo much money is involved Im sure they will get their stink together and make it work.
  4. apparently sony took 95% of the profit on the first two spiderman movies and disney was trying to get a 50/50 split. I have trouble believing that disney would lose money like that though. Tbh idc as long as disney keeps making the spiderman movies. I think the target demographic was the older millenials. And it seems to have worked for them.
  5. From what i understand its a middle man not the nfl thats bungled this up. might be wrong.
  6. It would have been atleast interesting if they played on the cfl field.
  7. If he was healthy probably darvin adams. Beyond that, dont even want to imagine.
  8. Thats true it should. But for it to come out like that after and when the RBs werent doing poorly over all it kind of speaks for it self imo.
  9. Over the last few years you can toss up nichols n harris. id lean towards harris as well. But BLM and Reilly have been much better then harris. Thats the elite tier. Masoli, nichols and harris have all had flashes of elite play but none have come close to maintaining that level of play for nearly long enough to unseat those two. I just dont see him taking a spot like that. Hes had a lot of weapons to work with, strong defences at his back, and too often has struggled in the red zone.
  10. At the same time, a better qb was available in FA, and better WRs. Harris seems like he was a pretty big cancer I can get replacing a guy like that. But you gotta get better. Not settle for junk.
  11. It all depends on the qb. Most qbs are far more pro ready now then they used to be. Plus more ncaa and nfl teams are running schemes similar to what we do up here. Weve seen this year lots of guys go from zero to winning starter. Its all about the player and how pro ready they are.
  12. 100%. Its about leverage and not over paying. Every penny we pinch could come up huge after nfl cuts go out.
  13. 100%. Hubris to think that any thing he did was gonna work. Nothing would have turned that team into a winner with the constant air lifts from nfl cuts starting the same week they signed, moves like picking reggie slack over AC etc. That was the worst talent miss management this team has ever seen. Reinebold is another really nice guy who was not meant for that kind of roll. He could be a HC etc of an ncaa team but his stuff was never gonna work as a pro HC.
  14. He turned a junk team into a solid offensive team with his playbook. His RPO and zone running plays made a very under talented RBs team competitive. Hes highly thought of and well respected as an offensive mind by the best coaches in the cfl from 80s to early 2k.
  15. They were one of the best managed and coached teams. Not this year. To be fair though, paopao is a brilliant offensive mind. Similar to plop he will tend to out think him self if left to play all every offensive down though. He does it with trick plays though. He was one of the best to involve RPO plays, shovel and other options runs etc long before the rest of football bought into it. He could be a really good fit in the right role. Also a coach players love and would run through a brick wall for.
  16. Dont want wilder. Too much of a head case and low effort runner. If we wanted a complementary back to harris the ideal guy would be a scat back / cut back runner. Though we change pace with lucky and demski. Id be happy to see what Santiago can bring.
  17. Sts domination. And the offense converting from the oppositions side of the field. But still playing a half of football. Great teams beat adversity. This is a tough early test to see how great this team will be. Im hopefull.
  18. We need some one with league experience. Last I remember he was on montreals? NL. Probably on some ones still.
  19. Edm has had the best Ol in the league so far this year. Especially against the pass rush. But if any Dl is gonna get to them, its us. our combination of Size and athleticism on the edge with an interior you have to double and pray on is ideal. The big thing will be to again limit the moes ability to score majors. Harris has allways struggled to find the end zone and thats what our D is designed to do. If we dont give up long scoring plays we will be in good shape.
  20. If harris cant go, id start John Santiago and have augustine as a back up still. He has looked good in clean up, but our RB useage is too important to put entirely on augustine. I would also weave in Demski with more run plays. But look at harris' career. Too soon to write off if he will play or not. The guy is a tank and rarely misses games.
  21. Could be. Damon allen was a freak of nature when it came to staying healthy. Looking at his games per year he is in zach collaros territory but he wasnt able to secure being the qb1 before he took the job from willy here.
  22. Opposing qbs beware.
  23. It very well can be both. In fact he can use not willing to be on the IR to force the argos hand. Why would any qb, little on one who has been hurt this year want to stand behind that line? How do you see it not being possible to want off the argos, not sit on the IR when healthy and generally not want to be behind that line. Nichols was sold cheap not because strictly of franklin, but because the moes didnt want a game manager. They and the view around the league was he was a guy on a team who kept winning inspite of his lack of production. They were looking for any one who would be more productive and he was benched to get franklin in. It isnt possible to tell what popp intends. But he loves tough aggressive qbs. And franklin hasnt been that at all in TO. To and popp need to make moves and improvements to keep the nearly dead fan base and popps job going. Hense the desperate trade for collaros. Money in part, like i said, and if they view MBT as the starter (which i would as well) itd be a good time to move on. That said I would prefer to get MBT back. Aside from 2 games in 2016/2015 beating up on the argos he hasnt had more then 300 yards or 2 tds in a game. He has 2 more multi td games then multi pick games. Mbt has produced more this year alone, let alone twice against us. A long with last year beating up on good Ds like ott, ssk, and ham. Mbt would make more sense to trade if they view him as topped out for potential and really believe in franklin. but thatd be hard for the TO fan to swallow. I think franklin would be the guy to go. If you listen to him talk the last couple years he would 100% take the shot for one more game. Hes just one of those guys. Hes probably not really hurt for money at any point post college. The pats were pretty high on him and IIRC he got his NFL pension.
  24. Yep. Tee martin too. Bishop would cut off a leg to get back on the field though.
  25. How about kliff kingsbury... 😆 Some of our former qbs, especially ones that didnt pan out are doing really well for them self right now.
