1 Streveler. Changed the nature of the game coming in. Running hard, beautiful deep ball, keeps getting better. 2 Augustin. Came in late and looked fast compared to the defense helped re rally the offense. 3 Sayles. Another great game. Humes with some great tackling too. Hh Lankford could be a legit kicker / punter. Shades or Jon Ryan on that 68yarder.

He still seems hurt. You can see it when he runs and at the end of those plays. The guy isnt danny mac slow normally. I wouldnt be surprised to hear him going under the knife in the off season.
-
Demski reminds me of early blink. Needs to learn better ball protection and learn when to go down but man I love him in this role and watching him play.
-
1 Nichols. Best game of the year for him 2 Sayles another monster game 3 Bighill/jsk big tackles turn overs stops on short yardage these two are beasting Hh Harris in the broken play getting the flip from Nichols breaking 4 or 5 tackles and getting a first down.
-
Yeah its a career killer especially at his age.
-
Brutal timing for corney, he would have had a lot more reps and was looking beastly early. Hope we bring him back.
-
Damned shame about mo. The guy could have been MOP every year up here. Our D with mo at 100% and biggie would be unreal. Hope his recovery goes well.
-
hmm idk how this works. I thought you had to sign to the PR? and PR players have their rights release at the end of the season automatically? Any one got some reading on this topic?
-
If he gets another nfl mini camp or camp invite etc and leaves the riders from the PR wouldn't that relinquish their rights to him?

Bombers sign Geoff Gray to a 3 year deal

Imo he could supplant neuf in short order at guard. He no doubt has tackle talent. I dont see us getting away from bryant and hardrick at the tackle spots though as long as both are healthy. Id be surprised if we made any changes to the OL between now and the end of the playoffs short of being forced due to injuries. Thats just the nature of our coaching staff. Could very easily be the extra OL. Hes super athletic and coming in for TE/heavy packages would be right up his alley. -
That is also a good point. Not as tough as sam, or S, but the next toughest position on D to be a rookie at.
-
Best thing for streveler is to not be forced. No matter what, while he has done everything you can ask of a rookie qb the best situation is for him to continue to learn this year and go into camp next year with this experience and see what he can do in year 2. That will be the big thing with him. He has all the talent and athleticism in the world. He could be a better nealon greene type of qb right now. But he could be some thing otherworldly if he takes the next step. More reps in those situations would have been better, though we always seem to struggle with timing on switching qbs like that. Blow out in either direction or otherwise. Its a great, long-awaited day in bomber land. We have the next guy waiting in the wings outperforming expectations and still contributing as the no2. And our no3 is the perfect guy to back him up. Similar skill set and athleticism. Can contribute as a no3 qb. Young enough to hope for upside but we dont have to bank on it. If we go into camp next year with the 3 qbs we have right now we are in great shape. One more young guy to push from the bottom and eat up reps so no one gets overworked and we are gravy at qb.
-
especially as a true rookie for a qb to contribute like him is one of the rarest happenings in football.

Still a few games to go but I think most if not all the spots are locked up. MOC, MOP harris again. Monster year to follow up on a monster year. MOL, Bryant. The line has struggled more this year then last but weve done more running with more success and bryant has been a stalwart. Goosen took a good size step forward this year, and the value of hardrick cant be underestimated. Missing time Kinda hurt hardricks bid for me. MODP bighill. JSK has had a big year, but a lot of his success has come from playing with bighill which only increases his value. Its the best year out of a MLBer Ive seen for the bombers in a very long time. I hope he retires a bomber. MOR. This is a bit of a tough one. Streveler has done a lot as a rookie qb. almost 1300 yards and 18 tds with a 2:1 td to int ratio. Though Some of the tds are inflated he has created scores for us in his package for a few weeks in a row and its a big change of pace for the D. At the same time sayles . With the evolution of our defense and nichols holding onto his starter job id go with Sayles. He could be scary good next year. MOST. Medlock has had another great year. But miller and fenner have had some great play on teams too. Im going with miller, not the type to normally get a nod for a teams award but he is among the best STers in the league if not the best.

I still think itd be awesome to have the bombers meet the riders in a GC. Especially if hosted in alberta so we can show them what the best rivalry in the cfl REALLY is.
-
No easy paths to a grey cup win.
-
1 bighill. Monster game 2 Fogg tough night returning but created some turn overs on D. 3 Loffler. Big hit and two picks. Hh Bryan Bennett two special teams tackles out of the 3rd string qb.
-
Especially this year, he has had a much tougher go of it. He is soo seldom dropped by the first tackler, and when he is brought down he goes down pushing forward virtually every carry. His are the grittiest yards in the cfl.

Hervey Questions Jennings Work Ethic

Yes. -
Kinda muddies the waters. Mcg the round prior was doing a lot better, despite his bad cardio. The win doesnt set up khabib as a p4p best / all time great. Ferguson looked very human too. Sets up a big khabib ferguson fight again though. Im soo tired of the douchey stuff. Mcg, khabib the jon jones dc crap. Was just left feeling gross by the ufc, again.

Hervey Questions Jennings Work Ethic

Its going to be a very interesting offseason. I bet jennings ends up a back up for another team. -
Streveler is pretty good in general with his ball placement. He gets a little wild trying to make things happen sometimes, but most of the time he tosses a very well located catchable ball and puts his guys in a position pick up yards after the catch.

Brian brohm, nick grigsby, romby bryant, ejiro kuale, nuefeld, sam hurl x2, lin-j shell, addison richards, ryan smith, shologan, Macho harris, Rock carmichael, bowman etc, The list is soo ridiculously long I dont have to prove the point. It makes it self very clearly, only you seem to be clinging to the opposition of it, so reverse onus. hes kicked around and stuck with teams that had among the deepest wr talent in the league. Its almost like jacksons out put has scaled up with a drastic increase in play time and use hmmm... Hes primarily a return man. Givens didnt report to camp after awful miss management the previous year. White out played and performed bowman easily. Cant say he was given a fair shake in camps when the best player doesnt win a spot at the position, see DL this tc. He was brought in, we threw to him what three times? Thats not an opportunity.
