  1. Love this one soo much. The supporting roles really stole a TON of scenes in GOT. The hound was one of the very best in the whole series.
  2. I need to get to doing this, cold showers help though. especially after training. Id love to try the full-on cryotherapy too.
  3. Its gonna be tough. Between Nelson, lucky and santiago 2 guys will probably remain. 1 on the active roster and 1 on the PR/IR. Nelson and Santiago are soo young Id love to see them stick around and in camp again next year no matter what happens. Its nice to have a variety of dynamic, quick, versatile return guys in camp this year. I fully believe all 3 are talented to the point they should be in the cfl.
  4. Harris, can't count how many times he's put the bombers on his back and carried the team. Stanley bryant the cornerstone of the line and first step in our rebuild. Medlock. Won us soo many games with crazy amounts of field goals and great punts. Hardrick. Allways down field on run plays never quits. Bighill. completely changed our front 7 and Ds performance. A shout out to the under dog guys, JFG when he was here, chad remple, wade miller (on STs) Mo, could have been our MOP every year he was here. Randle island.
  5. iirc didnt they cut him in camp?
  6. Soo bad, I have soo many memories of DD committing horrible PI and UR fouls and getting scorched.
  7. Yep. There was talk about him "just being a guard" prior to the end of the season and bond said he could do both, and had played some T in the past but never here.
  8. The riders tried it and it failed miserably. Hardrick struggled at guard early on before bond came onto the roster at guard and hardrick slid over.
  9. QFT. I hope they never wholesale change them again. Tweak and adjust sure. But its too good to go away from AGAIN.
  10. Kelly was a nut. But there is some value in that type of strategy. If you start your 2s against the other teams 1s, you get a great individual understanding of how they stack up. This can make you look worse for qbs and a few more co-dependant positions, but for film eval it can be good. Likewise for chemistry and easing guys into it having your starters roll over some team 2/3/4 guys has a bit of value. Say in our case with the amount of OL roll over we could possibly have, having them play against depth guys would be an easier way to start chemistry building in a live fire situation. You used to see it some down south with inter-squad scrimmages. It isnt the traditional tactic but it is viable imo. That said, kelly was a nut and imo that wasnt what he was doing.
  11. A good chunk yeah. Some guys working in different spots could draw in for the second game. IE woli at sb in the second game, maybe some of the dbs shifting around. Maybe gray plays guard in the first game and gets some tackle reps in game 2. I could see a lot of the DL coming for game 2 as well. Both dt and de are soo deep and gonna be soo hard for mos et al to choose. The more reps the better imo.
  12. I expect we will see a mix of starters and incumbents for the first half of the game. Mos generally put them in and then lets them work till they feel comfortable than when they are ready pulls em.
  13. I dont think its soo much a need, as universally done. Lots of good Dbs come into the league each year and contribute. Just like RBs, sub elite players are too close to replacement level to get big deals.
  14. They continue to make the right calls off the field, keep the team at a contender level, and despite it being harder each year they improve the team each year. I wouldnt count on the canadian mafia going any where any time soon.
  15. Thanks. Yeah I mean if you could get jones at 25 and start a franchise with him everything is possible. He got a real late start to starting (29 iirc) and stood behind some awful OLs. Loved kharis heart, and his active role in the city. For a while he was prince of the peg, its a shame he never got a ring here, and that it didnt last longer. Some careers just burn with an intense light rather then length. If it wasnt for khari jones and jack jacobs we wouldnt have a blue bombers training camp going on right now. They may not be the GOAT, but they are MVPs for the franchise.
  16. If I need one guy to win one game, I take Matt dunigan. He could will you to win dominate like few else the league has seen. His health isn't reliable over the long term though. Have a contender with a window of 2-3 years and want to be a champion once or more in that span? Give me Tom clements. Took the place of a hall of fame elite qb and took the same team to the next level. He's a team elevator not just an individual dominator. Need to start a franchise or rebuild? A guy to be there in thin times and develop a team around to contend and win? Brock and jack brings In the fans but Kenny ploen brings every thing. Including the rings. Doing what ever it takes and exceling at it. He's my vote for goat.
  17. Iirc wasnt he listed at 5'9 and like 350? Human bowling ball for sure. Yeah you could have played a couple guys from the first 3 rounds of the NFL draft down to guys brought in off the street to play in a pinch who wouldn't cut it in d2. It's a huge jump to the pros. Size and athleticism alone can dominate in college. At the pro level you need the technique and consistancy plus you go from one of the best big athletes in the league to maybe one of the better big athletes on the field that day. If he can take the next step like branding Bryant was showing look out. I would love to see a dl with Richardson branding Bryant Jeffcoat and Jefferson on the field at the same time. Even in the pre season. That level of size and athleticism acoss the dl would be insane.
  18. QFT x2 Itd be cool if 1290 /cjob had a podcast that was done at the TC where they talk about the goings on of they day, players etc.
  19. Saw this on the twitter feed (which is awesome to have integrated) pretty good interview with bryant. Love his classic OL mentality. Credit to all his teammates, humble, and confident. Loved the "who?" part.
  20. I dont think any lber is gonna look bad playing next to bighill at the wil spot.
  21. I think hes closer to ending up a DT then a olb, but yeah any of the ends could rush from a jack spot. Being NI only makes it easier to get him on the roster and use him in a package. I like mccalister in that role as he isnt as big as the other des. 6'6 240. Its also a handy use for getting young guys into good positions to make plays. The adjustment to the yard off the ball isnt easy for most guys. And imo, the cfl targets more athletic smaller tackles that can really move more then the nfl.
  22. Yeah the only spot that really needs sorting is Wil. And playing next to bighill its a gift job for one lucky Lber. I wouldnt mind seeing mccalister get some wil reps actually. Or generally rotate the extra DEs through as a jack spot instead of sending bighill who is soo much more valuable over the middle.
