  1. If a team doesnt have 3 guys with 3-4 years of service thats more an issue it self.
  2. Weve seen teams down to 3rd string too frequently for that imo. Itd be a calculated risk. And yes I think several teams would take the chance. And I dont think thats bad. The 3rd qb would probably be the holder too. I think thatd be a great idea. Counting a starting NI qb to the ratio isnt going to see a spree of NI qbs, youd need a strong back up ni qb too. And the league just doesnt have those.
  3. I would imagine you either get a fine or sign some cast off to roster for the ratio. We've seen worse nucks dredged up in the past for ratio then this will cause to be recirculated. I would think either, a NI starting qb now counts to the ratio (which is tough) maybe a back up NI qb will give you an extra DI (thatd be awesome)
  4. These are some pretty awesome changes.
  5. I didn't get into the sopranos till after the finale aired. So it wasn't as big a disappointment for me. I also felt that a lot of the supporting characters were weak.
  6. Lets all just enjoy the fact that the CBA got worked out and that TC starts this week! Best news all year.
  7. This both sums it up and makes a great point all in one. Ive never had lower expectations for a finale of a series that i enjoyed soo much.
  8. Id rather have him around as a K/P then a wr or returner lol. Glad hes a RB.
  9. Pretty much. Im in the same boat, great punter but too much money. I feel like teams that dont use one guy to kick and punt are at a large disadvantage in cap and ratio. Itll be cool to see him back in the league though. Id like to see him and leone go toe to toe and see who can boot it further.
  10. Big guy with a good degree too.
  11. Cant remember it at all. That level of depth and developmental talent is incredible. IN years gone by having any of the bottom 6 would be reason for great optimism. Agree, though in general Id rather have a NI wil beside bighill and an IMP S. But im pretty high on jones. Out side of jones Id rather have fenner/gaitor. One at sam one at S. But I dont see it happening.
  12. Also cant underestimate how much a small to medium school will pay to keep a great coach. the USCs, floridas, alabamas etc get the media attention but the real security is in the 2nd tier colleges. Jones negotiated a contract worth $800,016 during the 2004 season https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/June_Jones https://herosports.com/college-football/coaches-salary/june-jones Idk how reliable the second one is but yeah, Established HC in a good conference doesnt hurt for money.
  13. Not as big an issue for an OL imo. Plus he was more CFL sized and tried to go up prior to an NFL Push. Id bet hes pretty close to CFL size already. We will see how badly he wants it in camp. Getting the sharp edge of aggression and technique only comes with desire and work. Unless he comes in a hot mess Id be surprised if he isnt on the IR/PR this year based on his potential alone.
  14. He signed today. Its one of those sleeper picks, not a lot of people out side of bomber town and a couple national CFL guys are aware of what a steal he was.
  15. Agree. You can add all the fluff you want after that, but if they dont have a chance of making the top 3 they only serve to split votes for the last spot.
  16. havent seen the 2econd group signing, but desjarlais, and Richards. I think hallett signed Already. See the second group now. Dont see richards, desjarlais or kongbo.
  17. I could see that being the reason why the other jones left. Didnt consider that point. Football ops should have a salary cap imo. And it should be tied to revenue as should the players cap. Yeah its gotta be really hard to try and fill a role like that this late. Not to mention if you want to poach another teams coach for a promotion (Ie if they wanted buck to be their OC) then both teams are in a tough spot.
  18. If only. I feel like its not that high. More like 70% range. But it is worlds better then the era with no challenge. I also think many decisions come up that are really tough calls. A lot of grey area and judgement involved.
  19. 🤣 This seems crazy to me. Jones was just coming into his own as a coach in the cfl, took a step back to open up a job for steinhauer, now he leaves to the XFL? Are they going to play a game before the cfl season ends? Mind blowing to me. I wonder if the league should have punitive measures in contracts for coaches that do this stuff. I feel like if you quit on your team after the draft/FA you've caused them to harm by not leaving in the normal offseason window. This is what the 3rd time weve seen this this off season?
  20. Hopefully, it'll be fairly short-lived like in the comics. It seems like he wears nearly every suit ever seen in the comics in just this one movie though. I feel like they are trying to speed through the Spiderman stories we've already seen. Which I appreciate. Fingers crossed thatll itll be good.
  21. I really hate the dumbing down they've done to Tyrion. Danny is soo unrelatable now too. Can't even see her side, and it's like they aren't trying. This second to the last episode also felt like it could have been half an hour without losing anything of substance.
  22. Not if you bring them in cheap / on an incentive-laden deal. In the cfl no one is a contractual liability with none guaranteed deals for most of the year and most of the players. If we brought in one low risk high reward vet like toliver, or chris williams or sinkfield thatd be perfect. Though I dont really expect it at this point.
  23. Handsofstoneman. Iirc wasn't Cloman a PR pickup from someone? We had some real stinkers at WR for a good while.
  24. Id take a gamble on him if it was a cheap contract. Low risk high reward vets are great to have in camp.
  25. I think gray is taking a job this year. Desjarlais and eli are great picks. The OL is gonna be a WAR in tc. I cant wait to watch it.
