  1. especially as a true rookie for a qb to contribute like him is one of the rarest happenings in football.
  2. Still a few games to go but I think most if not all the spots are locked up. MOC, MOP harris again. Monster year to follow up on a monster year. MOL, Bryant. The line has struggled more this year then last but weve done more running with more success and bryant has been a stalwart. Goosen took a good size step forward this year, and the value of hardrick cant be underestimated. Missing time Kinda hurt hardricks bid for me. MODP bighill. JSK has had a big year, but a lot of his success has come from playing with bighill which only increases his value. Its the best year out of a MLBer Ive seen for the bombers in a very long time. I hope he retires a bomber. MOR. This is a bit of a tough one. Streveler has done a lot as a rookie qb. almost 1300 yards and 18 tds with a 2:1 td to int ratio. Though Some of the tds are inflated he has created scores for us in his package for a few weeks in a row and its a big change of pace for the D. At the same time sayles . With the evolution of our defense and nichols holding onto his starter job id go with Sayles. He could be scary good next year. MOST. Medlock has had another great year. But miller and fenner have had some great play on teams too. Im going with miller, not the type to normally get a nod for a teams award but he is among the best STers in the league if not the best.
  3. I still think itd be awesome to have the bombers meet the riders in a GC. Especially if hosted in alberta so we can show them what the best rivalry in the cfl REALLY is.
  4. No easy paths to a grey cup win.
  5. 1 bighill. Monster game 2 Fogg tough night returning but created some turn overs on D. 3 Loffler. Big hit and two picks. Hh Bryan Bennett two special teams tackles out of the 3rd string qb.
  6. Especially this year, he has had a much tougher go of it. He is soo seldom dropped by the first tackler, and when he is brought down he goes down pushing forward virtually every carry. His are the grittiest yards in the cfl.
  7. On the ends, https://www.hogshaven.com/2018/3/30/17162582/marcell-frazier-has-great-measurables-but-has-a-lot-to-learn-as-a-pass-rusher https://www.nfl.com/prospects/marcell-frazier?id=32462018-0002-5599-4020-1d0ded64e7c2 All I need to know about mackay. https://www.rgj.com/videos/sports/college/nevada/2018/03/16/patrick-choudja-runs-mackay/33009941/

    UFC

Kinda muddies the waters. Mcg the round prior was doing a lot better, despite his bad cardio. The win doesnt set up khabib as a p4p best / all time great. Ferguson looked very human too. Sets up a big khabib ferguson fight again though. Im soo tired of the douchey stuff. Mcg, khabib the jon jones dc crap. Was just left feeling gross by the ufc, again.
  9. Its going to be a very interesting offseason. I bet jennings ends up a back up for another team.
  10. Streveler is pretty good in general with his ball placement. He gets a little wild trying to make things happen sometimes, but most of the time he tosses a very well located catchable ball and puts his guys in a position pick up yards after the catch.
  11. Brian brohm, nick grigsby, romby bryant, ejiro kuale, nuefeld, sam hurl x2, lin-j shell, addison richards, ryan smith, shologan, Macho harris, Rock carmichael, bowman etc, The list is soo ridiculously long I dont have to prove the point. It makes it self very clearly, only you seem to be clinging to the opposition of it, so reverse onus. hes kicked around and stuck with teams that had among the deepest wr talent in the league. Its almost like jacksons out put has scaled up with a drastic increase in play time and use hmmm... Hes primarily a return man. Givens didnt report to camp after awful miss management the previous year. White out played and performed bowman easily. Cant say he was given a fair shake in camps when the best player doesnt win a spot at the position, see DL this tc. He was brought in, we threw to him what three times? Thats not an opportunity.
  12. Watching him play even last night I don't think his knee is 100%
  13. The way dressler ran him off deep enough then broke and ran him into the goal post was masterful. Idk if it was entirely on purpose but i suspect he atleast intended to use it as a pick to slow the db down and make him take a deeper longer route
  14. The last two weeks we handled the no 2 team in the west and the best team in the east. We could still possibly host a home play off game. 1 more win and we are very likely to cross over two more wins and we are sure to make the play offs.
  15. This was probably the game of the year so far for me. Soo tense, back and forth great play on O and D at times. A thrilling victory.
  16. 1 bighill* with the play to win the game 2 Harris carrying the team on his back 3 medlock the automatic Hh to dresslee for the td right after the UR play
  17. Agree on the stamps stuff. Best move for claybrooks is to hang out for a fist full of years and soak it in. For a guy like him it makes no sense to me to jump to a bottom feeder team rebuilding, or to a team like us that wont dedicate the time and resources like in a rebuild.
  18. All about the D and harris imo. If the D keeps it rolling and harris has a big game we got it. No matter what nichols shows up, I cant see us winning a passing shoot out. Having demski back could prove huge as well. He was the punishment when teams cheated against the run with harris too much.
  19. sam hurl 2.0 (in terms of role) they drop him a decent bit too from that package though. But imo the reason he is on the roster is teams. They could use a bunch of other guys in that role, as well as actual DL.
  20. steinhauer is a great candidate for a head coaching job. Between him and claybrooks id lean slightly to steinhauer.
  21. Beat ott, beat sask, cross over to the east in the play offs. Do it up.
  22. this year we are using wild for his play on teams instead of flanders as the DI. Which is a poor move imo. how the als have escaped without tons of fines and a couple suspensions for the crap they have done vs us is beyond me.
  23. The point named several guys at several positions who have been forced onto the roster at the cost of superior players. I wasnt saying lankford was here the entire time, I was saying we have always had some one like lankford, often multiple players like that forcing out better players. Look at all the talent we cut loose that continued to play well in the league after. Then look at how long lankford, for instance, has been here. Look at how many chances he has been given. Look at how few those other guys got. That, is the point. The thing is, other teams saw enough to give these guys more of a chance then we did and it worked out. A rookie having a poor mini-camp is hardly rush to judgment stuff imo. Thats why we have minicamp. Its to ease these guys into the transition to the cfl to improve the quality of TC. You can easily excuse one or two guys slipping through the cracks. But many, at several positions you cant.
  24. I'm not sure if mos is salvageable or not. I do not believe we are in a position to go back to a first time cfl/pro head coach though. The franchise cant afford that major step back. And I don't know what we could possibly do to get one of the few HCs that would be a clear upgrade.
