Was gonna add that. A story line and twist that would make stephen king proud.

Not the keenest on osh either. But what they are doing is clearly more tuned to the long run. The blue need to be regulars in the play offs for a good few years. To, the market is bandwagon jumpers. They can be feast or famine. Not to mention that the last franchise the league would let fail. They have a considerable net. Both teams also play in the east. If the worst team in the west had played the whole year in the east, they have as good a shot at winning out as the argos. Way she goes. The prairies are the home to high quality football. (im including alberta, awful I know but I lump them in) The east is the pits. Also cant under estimate the job pop and trestman did. Trestman is legit a great coach. A next level guy at teaching and leading his players. I honestly believe 1 or 2 more players and he would still be with the bears. I think the question is, do we go all in? We are in a position imo where we could forge ourselves into the GC favorite. Are we willing to mortgage or out right sell the future? Our picks, rights to gray, mulumba, some of the young nucks like corney and our OL, we could spend aggressively and pre pare to pay penalties etc. Also on ott, every one kinda thought desjardins was nuts. Hank AND harris, and all those wrs. It wasnt a long term core but he gambled and won. I respect the crap outta that. He found some real good talent too.

Thats the truth, but its the coach and managements job to create that winning environment. Bill walsh instructed every part of his organization how to go about their job to create a winning atmosphere. Down to how the secretaries answered the phone. Being willing and having the management/owners support to clear out the talented but toxic types and being willing to bring in COs with higher aspirations isnt easy. But greatness doesnt come easy. Good in pro sports very quickly becomes gone. Good is the enemy of great. Gotta give mos, walters, and miller all the credit on that. They stuck to it and were willing to take the lumps to create a winning environment.

Saw this and decided to post it, Story of a brutal one sided football game and why it happened.

QFT. I feel like this is a thin era for coaching. The league has a fist full of guys as HCs I wouldnt touch with a 10 foot clown pole. Maas? Jones? Saveface reed? Even the all mighty buono is on his last legs. Im a big big fan of june jones, but hes a rook up here with no TCs and while I think he will succeed hes a bit of a gamble. He came into a situation with nothing to lose and they didnt make the play offs in the east. Dis honorable mention to austin. Cus thats a stone cold no too. You can allways go for a higgins, or a danny macioca but just the though makes me throw up a bit. If I had to pick a guy to be a HC right now, id be looking at a top CO, and bring in some proven Cos to support em. Id take plop over a good few guys coaching right now if he agreed to not micro manage the offense I think he'd do well. Obligatory *tim burke should still be a *DC in the league comment here. Replace with your favorite guy whose gone but not coming back.

Not to mention the 90s batmans. At one point if you listed the top 5 comic book movies ever, theyd all be batman movies. Even the cartoons, marvel had more but batman was the peak of those as well. Smallville had a large fan following (though it lost me quickly) the comics today arent even comparable dc owns the rags. They really pooped the bed and need to make drastic changes.

Id take that over the say so of virtually any paper. At the same time, what else can he say.

From frito rays situation, he should retire. Go out on a high note, reasonably healthy, having had a long decorated career. Weve seen ray get beaten raw a lot over the last fist full of years. Its going to cost him a great deal in terms of quality of life if he tries to continue. I can understand the desire out living the bodies ability to hold up. But ray has never struck me as that kind of guy. Most qbs arent, Its really hard to be when you are allways the nail and never the hammer. Ray could even "retire" now and see how things look mid season. If he stays in reasonable shape and has the itch some one would happily over pay for half a season and a post season run. And he could insure a decent OL to protect him. Idk if hes the type to go into media, or coaching. The hardest thing in sports is when you reach a point where you go from competing, to not doing any thing.

More flashy sure, better idk. Thanos in this trailer looks great. Some of the previous cgi, yeah not terribly good. Its funny too, nolans batman had DC miles out in front of marvel. I imagine they will. And I bet they have the full rights to all MCU properties sooner rather then later.

Could be. Doesnt strike me as the leader of that team, but given what went on with him and burris that would be pretty hard to expect.

harris had a great statistical season, again. which put very little traction down in the W column. Im not saying its a great chance, but i would say it exists and is growing. I dont think that unrest exists under the other 3. I think those guys are on as solid ground as they can ask for in pro sports. Id bet my life calgary would trade BLM for riley straight up.
-
No joke. It seems kinda strange that theyd expect him to stick around and participate in the GC celebrations. I could really see a lot of shuffling of starting QBs in the cfl this off season. Strange to say but masoli, riley and nichols probably have the most secure positions right now. Heresy to suggest it I know, but I could see a growing change that the stamps are sick and tired of all BLMs antics and lack of finish.

Thanks for that. Took the words right outta my mouth. Shut up and take my money marvel. Just hook it right into my veins.
-
I think that relationship is long over due for a divorce.
-
Agree. When hes a more developed threat he will only be much more effective as a decoy when he doesnt get the ball.
-
If it doesnt happen by the end of December, it wont. And i dont think they will short of a great DC becoming available, or hall being un willing to adjust the scheme on D.
-
thats both great, and makes me feel old all at once.

I hope we use him as an actual weapon more, and less as a point of distraction.

I would suggest talking to some of the coaches from perspective HSs. The coach and team to help you go to the next level (if thats the goal) may not be the one thats stacked to contend at the HS level. Hard to get any where if you dont play a lot. A smaller team where he would get a lot more play time would be valuable. If again that is a situation you find your self in, or could. Also if you would be flipping the money to put him through that school, that money could with a smaller team be spent on off season camps, and coaching seminars. While some things translate better then others, the level of coaching available to sub college level players down south is extraordinary. And many skills developed down their translate just as well up here. Food for thought any way. Not knowing how much hes played previously, I would put the emphasis on play time.
-
He was brought in because they thought he had a chance to play and have an impact. Which he has, on teams. It takes guys different lengths of time to find their groove. Look at ogopogo this year.
-
Yes we do. they are called designated imports. Also it was his first full season, and he didnt get a ton of chances before JSK stepped in. Also, hes small for MLB even by cfl standards.
-
knox was excellent on teams. ^ nailed it.
-
HAHA! Didnt you baby sit her?
-
Try a longer FG, with downs left to play, and give TO the ball with a minute ish left to play? no.
-
Or good enough to win more then 5 games in the regular season out of the west division. Not trying to take away from the argos. They are slayers of goliath today.
