  1. Not on DD no. Hes not the arrogant jack @$$. He forced an awful pass into double coverage. He kept going back to the well. Thats not on DD.
  2. and happen to play in the east* cus the argos wouldnt have been a play off team if they were in the west.
  3. Yeah each loss was like our 01 loss. But with a TON more smack talk from BLM. And soo much over soo little time. Reminds me of when every one laughed and pointed at desjardin and co in ott over building around all the qbs and wrs they could get...
  4. Holding a team/players accountable, and doing it publicly is a huge huge difference. Where is the counter evidence? Ritchie, the don, and buono are all their player type of guys. Each did things differently. In some cases to an extreme. Don mathews would go to the wall and beyond for his guys. And if they horribly let him down or crossed him he'd send em packing in a heart beat. Ritchie rode with his guys till the wheels fell off. Buono handled media prodding about his starting QB more times then can be counted. And all his stuff was behind closed doors. Between those three guys, in a full season of coaching, they missed the play offs what once? Id love to see an example of a great coach who publicly called out his own football players. It worked for vince coleman so idk.
  5. 2001, 2011 man it could be an awful long super duper negatron life if that was the case.
  6. That drive was about to be nail in the coffin. Now, the argos gotta feel like they have an edge. Only in the CFL.
  7. wow what a play! huge game changer right there!
  8. another pin point deep ball, this time from BLM.
  9. We have a football game now.
  10. sweet christmas.
  11. 20+ years, hasnt aged, and still cant leave her un muted. If jeff reinbold rides into town on his bike i might lose my mind.
  12. How old is she now? I mean for real age, not age change stuff. Idk if she found the fountain of youth or if she was turned into a vampire by nicholas cage....
  13. I almost feel bad for the guy. As soon as the argos snap the ball the stamps are mashing the argos OL. No holes and guys in his face as soon as the ball touches his gut. BUT he isnt driving his legs at all. Hes been caught standing still almost every time. Needs to change his shoes find some traction and drive through tackles. The guy is a monster but is allowing him self to be made irrelevant. He is the prototype of the back I would look for in the cfl. He can really punish ends n lbers.
  14. Man charleston hughes attacking the passing lane when he wasnt gonna get the sack was a thing of beauty. For some reason i like seeing the soccer kick on muffed snaps to the punter xD
  15. weather like this, messam has traction, look out.
  16. reminds me of the "down town" eddy brown play.
  17. what a beaut of a pass from ray.
  18. Im happy for his success. As I am for sergio. Kickers are a strange breed though. You never know if they would have worked out if they stayed, or if they would work out if they came back. I half expect medlock not to be back. He came out with the exact wrong attitude for a guy coming off the worst year in his career up here. Especially for a guy whose paid like a star skill position player. 3 teams in 7 years to boot. Its allways a good sign to see ex players saying good things about the franchise though. Personally not the guy Id want. Also dont think hed take the kind of money we will have to offer. I wonder what the challenge is going to be. beer pong?
  19. And if we dont should we consider to pull a billy pavlopalus (pavlop..pavalop...pavlopanomamus?) on it?
  20. The bomber GCs of my life time have been brought up. But ill throw this one in. 1994 grey cup. The BC lions were canadas team taking on Baltimore. Lou passaglia kicks a last second FG to keep the grey cup north of the 49th. Too many men was pretty great too. But for my money the best none blue GC was the 94.
  21. Iirc it was floated back when he left oregon state. If he wanted to be up here, He would be imo. Idk how i feel about mos vs reilly. but the rust and out dating for reilly combined with the hard loss itd be for a team of mos guys to lose mos makes it hard to imagine it being an upgrade. Plus short of some insane meltdown I cant see our management canning mos mid season next year.
  22. I swear every one league wide knows how great moe is, out side of the media that is. I know some other teams fans who love the guy. Chris randle gets a bit more love but still a fraction of what he deserves too.
  23. It often seems that after too many years of a players coach, a change to a harder coach is welcomed by players. But then its not like it used to be. When coaches chose pads vs no pad practice, and at rare times some especially tough coaches instituted 2 a days mid season. All HCs now a days seem some variant of a players coach compared to the not soo distant past. Glad for mos and the organization. Been a long time since our HC would be considered for some thing like that.
  24. No matter what in decision is the worst decision. You can win with countless different strategies, tactics, styles and systems. Weve seen bend but dont break, cover 0, 3-4, 4-3, spread and power systems all win GCs. Its about the right pieces to manage a system, high level teaching to execute it, and preparation to keep it working. The FG kick last year, and the fake this year were calls that raised a lot of ire. But at least they werent passive.
