Yes, but the way we play it we have them mashing. Its not about technical difficulty, its about the near 70 lbs weight difference between the two. Couture would be the type of guard youd play in a zone blocking / option offense where he would be pulling a lot. The way we play our line having couture at guard is like playing dressler on dive plays up the middle.

With a tough to bring down qb, you hold him up wait for help, and attack the ball. That type of ball carrier is much much more likely to fumble. 3 man rushes can be drastically different. Depending on if they play 1 gap or 2 gap. Basically trying to push through the gap to pressure the qb or trying to push the OL back to close the gap on either side of him. Against a mobile QB a 1 gap will force him to roll side ways and cut off half the field allowing the DBs to cheat. Giving up middle running gaps can make for easy first downs. QB pressures are also a big deal. Our DL dont sell out for sacks so much. Especially poop and jackson. Both guys get their hands up and play to shut down the pass lane. Which is what you need to do against a big strong qb. Hes like a less fleet of foot kerry joseph. Hold em up, gang tackle him, attack the ball, occupy the passing lanes, push the center back into him to take away the pocket and make him play to half a field. No question we have the horses in the front 7 to do it. If we do a good job of tackling against the moes we will be in great shape. If its selling out for hits, and settling for arm tackles itll be a long day.

CFL.ca on fb posted its season ending power rankins. 1 Edmonton 2 argos 3 riders 4 stamps 5 RBs 6 bombers 7 hammy 8 BC 9 Montreal To is 3-6 against the west. Edm finished below us. We knocked the stamps down, RBs finished below .500 in the east what a joke. Not even gonna get into how awful the stamps finished or the riders pre turn around and losing their last game. Locker room material. 23 wins in 2 years and still get no respect.

Yeah as an OC he hasnt been up to par. A guy who has never been an OC is gonna need min 4 games or so just to get kinda into it. Its easier for a QB who called his own plays, which I dont recall pierce ever doing.

In an era of un padded no contact practices, basically the game catching up the QBs, Its tough to imagine a sit out injury that you know a guy will play through. With limited practice last week, and no game action and missing part of the game the week before, Id have him practice so long as it wouldnt be a serious threat to hinder him on sunday.

reilly reilly wanted the riders. Reilly put up good yards against us, 2tds and 1 pick in both games. We sacked him 5 times total and beat em both times. Gotta keep that big pressure goin.

I was kinda mixed on paulo costa in his debut. Looked good but not great. Just put on a clinic though against hendricks. hendricks with out juice is a shell of his former self but borrachinha is a bad bad man. Wow thug rose. holy crap. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW GSP! He came in swole af. Crazy explosive in the first round. His cardio at that weight looked some kind of rough in the 2nd. Joanna wasnt able to find the range against thug rose. Constantly missing jabs and every thing she threw. GSP was finding the range instantly. When jon jones was suspended (previously) and came back after bulking up he was slow, and herky jerky. GSP came in and looked incredibly smooth, fast and dangerous. He has to address the cardio at that weight (understandable with his time off, and going up a division) but if he does he is one scary scary mfer. That round was really interesting for scoring. Damage doesnt score of course, but the ground position where bisping got the better to the point gsp had to stand up to stop the bleed is interesting. If that was a whole round that should be a round for bisping. In reality its very likely GSP would have won that round. Gsp talked about his size and going up, and doesnt sound like he intends to stay and defend. I wonder if he is gonna stay big and go back to fight tyrone.

Idk what OL could stand up to our full DL rotation. Nevis and poop in the middle are a force of nature. pogo n coat get mugged constantly and still make plays and force pressure. I think westy and mo have no shot of coming back this year. Of course im not a dr, or any thing just my 2c. Darvin i think would be a hail marry to come back.
