  1. imo he has been half in half out of football the last two years. he was with the sun, but didnt play a lot didnt see a lot of useage when he did. Like marouf last year. I dont expect him to go out and steal a job in TC.
  2. haha. Good call, very similar guys. Our next pick 26th over all is ANOTHER gift from the willy trade ? thats got to be the end of it right? holy molly we got a ton out of that deal.
  3. any one left with an NFL deal??? xD
  4. 8th best OL when we are allready deep at OL with guys here now and futures in the pipe line, or the 2nd best WR with the best upside in a position we could use the help at. Hodge buying into the meme too much. haha yep agree 100%.
  5. Of every one drafted today, no one has been in the mix to be a high pick for soo many years. Idk how any one can hate coming out of the draft with a 2nd round pick getting you probably the highest upside guy available. Hes a guy we could use on teams potentially. He and wolitarski give us the biggest up side among young NI wrs that weve seen in decades.
  6. more things change the more they stay the same.
  7. With Guelph's Andrew Pickett still on the board, I believe this pick may have been better utilized to stabilize depth along the offensive line. -hodge. Wow if we are deep any where at NI its OL.
  8. not too surprising. funny weve talked about him for soo many years on here now we got him haha. the best potential of any one left by a mile so its not too surprising. Not exactly the typical character guy we go for though.
  9. simonise it is
  10. damn those moes
  11. ideally one of the first 3 but yes.
  12. i have a feeling we are gonna grab who ever we are gonna grab no matter who falls.
  13. He keeps doing it hoping itll pay off. drafts like mack. does what ever he wants xD
  14. I really liked normand. But we didnt get harris enough touches and our red zone calls were still head scratching. I think thats part of the evolution of the game though. every year one or two good hback types come out and no one makes great use of them. Normand did a lot away from the ball in packages, but he could have done a lot more and may yet find more use.
  15. Weve seen our fair share of blue chip prospects, especially des come in like a lion only to go out like a lamb.
  16. thats very Bold. Ok ok ill show my self out. Hmm mike miller might be a bit small to fill that role. Idk if we use our top pick for it, but i could see one of our first three going to an hback. David mackie really seems to have Mos guy written all over him. I feel like with our 2nd round pick we will still get a very good player with plenty of upside. We have a high chance of an OL falling to us, though I dont see us wanting a guy unless we can send him back to college for another year or if they will be in the nfl for a year or more. Really hoping we go db or wr. Im sure walters will have another good draft.
  17. thats an inaccurate and dramatic over simplification. BMI, BMR etc you can take 20 OL across the league with the same weight and have 20 different body types. Size on the OL is the primary limiting factor. if you dont have enough, even if you are very good you will wear down and get beat. An under weight OL has to over compensate by spending more energy to have the same push. You drop to a lower weight through the course of the game, and lose more energy. Its been his biggest issue through his career to this point so its easy to see how it would be.
  18. Again the weigh in on the first day of TC doesnt indicate how maintainable it is. Cant speak to the quality or type of weight added, or if it came back off, or if it would under regular play. But expecting a 276 lbs guy when drafted who hasnt gotten a regular spot thus far to become a starting guard vs other guys on the roster with experience at the position and the needed size is a heavy stretch. T-G is the easy switch on the OL, if you are big enough. Hardrick has started at guard as recent as late last year. He also isnt undersized and doesnt struggle with weight.
  19. 294 would put him amongst if not the smallest guard in the league. 294 at the start of camp, how heavy do you think he'd be late in games? especially late in the season? Moving the undersized tackle to guard, is a high risk low reward move.
  20. shades of mike sellers lmao. Or that rugby guy just drafted by the eagles. Imagine him standing next to dressler? Put a guy like that in an iso on a fade and good luck covering him. Itll be interesting to see if he has any pass rush moves.
  21. Can never really know a year before hand in the cfl. Cant really know till right before the draft really. I think Bcs pick next year is gonna be 3rd or 4th. Seems like a great gamble. Im hoping for couture, but i can not see him being a guard. He is a small tackle. I like our crop of young NI ol. we have some gooders who should be rounding into form this year or next.
  22. Eh running back is crazy deep. I can see how we'd need bodies in mini camp and not need them in TC. Washington had a good camp last year but never seemed to live up to it. I wonder if prewitt will be back when healthy? cant make the club from the tub. nailed it xD. I like the deal. We move up in the second round, and get bc's first next year. In the west its gonna be awful hard for BC to improve. Sask could take a step back if collaros does what he always does. Other wise the bc pick is a strong candidate to be 3rd or 4th. My jaw hit the floor when i read about this guy this morning. https://www.bluebombers.com/2018/05/01/bombers-add-dl-larry-webster/ http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/larry-webster?id=2543786 bombers list him as 6'6 275. at the combine he weighed in at 255. I wonder how much he will come in at, and what his optimal weight is. 4.58 40 (weve seen plenty of slower wrs) 36.5" vert insane measurables. Went from basketball to football with out missing a beat. For a raw athlete with soo little experience in football he got a ton of sacks and TFL. Easy to see why he was grabbed in the 4th round and stuck in the nfl for a few years. Bit of a concern that he is up here at this point. with his size and athletic ability he could be a back up for life in the nfl. If he committed to it he could be a pro STs guy too. But who knows maybe he wants to play. Another son of a former nfler at de, growing up around high level football doesnt hurt. Like seeing a guy with that athleticism getting back into plays, with that level of speed you can come from behind and limit some big plays with a high motor. He did some goal line TE package stuff and one of the teams in the draft wanted him to go through the te/we stuff in his pro day so thats mixed in too. Our recruitment strategy seems to be to swing for the fences, makes for some great camp battles.
  23. bo knows this. or so i heard... ?
  24. The stone wielders part really is the biggest gripe for me. like they dont have to win they just have to put up a good fight do SOMETHING WITH THE STONE. I kind of figure once he knew where to find all the stones, or find some one who could find it he went for them all. Smash n grab. Because if he stretched it out slowly, the other stones would have been scattered to the winds and the wielders would mainly look to hide them rather then wield them. Yeah the black order didnt get introduced or set up well. I dont think they named any one but ebony maw. Hulk idk. Hes been set up as in the comics where his power is limitless. Idk what the end game is with him, i was thinking grey hulk but idk. I think either some thing multiversal, the ultimate nulifier being used to reset the whole universe, i dont think they will do beyonder/one above all etc, could also be ant man going back in time via going sub atomic. Captain marvel is my big concern going forward. I hope they use her in a combo of captain marvel and the sentry. To be marvels superman. And not for the crap propaganda that has ruined the comics.
  25. The gauntlet is damaged, think of it as being on cool down. Itll need time. He used it to escape and could use the space gem to reverse the damage to it. Normally when it is used to extreme effect or destroyed the gems scatter them selfs to the corner of the universe or actually break. The fact its intact says it will still work in the future just not at full power for the moment. Thanos still has the gauntlet. As shown it is very difficult to forcibly remove. What i imagine he saw in the iterations where the time or other gems were destroyed was thanos using what is left of the stones and gauntlet to gain another mass extinction level power and using it while bringing greater chaos to the universe. Or that he would instead go planet to planet destroying all life rather then half the planet. I would think he sacrificed every thing so that tony stark would live, and having seen soo much horrible death (spidey especially) that he would be willing to do with out restraint what needs to be done. Perhaps he (and maybe hank pym) create the Ultimate nulifier. or locate it. Tony pre mass extinction may not have been willing to use it to reset the universe. Tony afterwards probably is. Epsecially if pepper died too. Left on the schedule is infinity war 2, black panther 2 and gotg 3, also iirc an un named spiderman 2 is in the works. gotg is the only one that could be at least partly re booted. (original GOTG team)But I have no doubt many of the deaths will be un done in IW2. Also the lack of hulk was confusing and maybe the only disappointment in the movie. That and the utter piss poor use of the infinity stones by their wielders. Dr strange traps dormammu in an endless time loop but does nothing with it worth mention in the movie. Vision gets his butt handed to him by every thing and every one. Loki couldnt use the tesseract to get him thor etc out of danger?
