Thats true too, but given the state of our respective franchises i expect our coaches to out coach team jones. A superior coach will allways find an advantage to take, and a great one will know the pitfalls they face at the same time and prepare for both. All in all im pretty happy with our schedule.

They have to offer a deal with in 7-10 days, but i dont think there is any thing that says it has to be a reasonable deal. I am by no means an expert in such paper work though. I would think he could hold out and demand a trade to a team willing to pay a reasonable contract to him. Yeah if any thing is an issue its the thurs games for most people. Also week 10 is august 24, week 11 is sept 3. Which is 9 days between games, and a mini buy week since we play mostly every 6 days.

Its a pretty ridiculous claim. A long of 48 yards last year, with an average per catch of 13.4 yards. A career longest play of 55 yards and an average of 13.6 YPC. 41 games 12 tds etc Gurley has 13.9 ypc long of 45 15 tds in 28 games. Denmark last year 13.3 79 8tds in 10 games. plus adams last year. 4 different years dresslers longest has been 75+ yards. We also had guys like terrence edwards, and adarius bowman in 2009. Titus ryan who we traded romby for had 8 catches for 285 yards 35.6 ypc a long of 65 and 3 tds. After 2009 we had bowman, edwards, greg carr, Id even take TJH as a down field threat over stafford. Not to mention chris mathews. Nick moore when healthy was head and shoulders better as a down field threat.

It can be good. TC really puts a beating on the health of a team. Gives you time to recover. Also allows more time to evaluate your team, build chemistry practicing with the roster you break camp with, and you get to study a week of game film on the opponent going into the first game of the season. It can be a great advantage for our coaches to take.
