couldnt tell you.

With his size, athletic ability, and superbowl heroics I cant see him winding up back here. Especially being on the right side of 30 still. He would be a phenomenal fit, and is an all world talent. I put that in mike sims walker come back territory.

Thats the truth. We need more use of flanders, and more steady runs for harris. That will go very far to helping all who suit up for the blue as an OL next year. Lots of ways to do that. Couture could be used in a zone running scheme at guard no doubt. Id be happy to fill from with in for our OL. (again assuming bond is nfl bound) We can stretch it deep with adams. Dressler can stretch it side ways (as well as harris/flanders) Another guy for the opposite side who can do either, eat up the middle, or and X factor who can take a screen pass all the way on any play would give us full control of the field. When we lose the ability to stretch the field in multiple directions, especially deep, teams can attack the box and run blitz. QFT. Spencer would be big, ofc sinopoli too. Id actually take bass back for a look in camp at WIL. Incase wild isnt 100% and to push him. Assuming JSK can make the transition to mlber. (I think he could do it pretty well)

I think it depends on your system, and available NI talent. Expecting a guard of bonds cailbre isnt reasonable. But a good one, is reasonable. If you compared say Newfi, foketi, denmark and the extra NI I would take foketi at guard and the extra NI. Love denny but hes gone invisible too often. The hunger and drive he came back with after being cut ran dry and he pulled a houdini. 6 games with 1 catch or less, 2 catches for 30 yards or more, season high of 69 yards in one game, the huge majority of his tds were less then 10 yard passes as well. We can set up fades to taller guys for a high percentage of that.

I think weve seen the end of hurl starting at MLBer. I hope we get a real no1 threat vet wr. I think our OL will be good. Even when bond leaves. Better back up qbs x1million. Dont think we will see hall canned. Too important a position in the cfl to bicker over a pass port. In theory could we sign brandon bridge, dress him as a kicker but have him as the back up qb, And have medlock listed as qb? We would essentially gain credit for medlock as a NI and bridge would be usable on the field (option stuff) at the same time as nichols.

I would bet next year JSK starts at MLB, and wild at wil. Bighill would be incredible. But Its about as good a shot as **** butkus being our next starting MLBer. Id like to see a DL pressures ranking. Jeffcoat and poop would shock some none bomber fans. Unless they are also secretly punters. I remember us scratching our heads about this lanky quick depth WR we drafted from regina one time. Pretty good leg on em. I would carry sam hurl on my back home to any place in canada if it meant henoc muamba came back to be our starting mlber.

Yeah thatd be fantastic. I think bond is gone, but having him back would be huge. For my money he is hands down the best guard in the league. Close to the value of a tackle quality guard. Newfie 2 good young developing NI ol, corney, thomas jones is a gooder, Hopefully faith turns into a player of value (if he fullfills his potential he could replace nevis) its a real good core of NI depth. Guys who have a chance to play and make a difference. That and the dedication to players with strong character should have us continuing to improve year after year. What imp FA wrs are out there? I would think earnest jackson would be available and at a discount to boot. Ive allways liked him.

Very good player on a bad teams D is a dangerous thing. Its easy to rack up a lot of tackles when you sped 3/4 of the game on the field. No doubt hes still deserving of being in the league. I wouldnt wanna take much of a risk on the guy though. Too much of a chance he either hits the wall with his age, cant play at a high level on a contender, Or gets hurt. Younger hebert I would think would be a fantastic talent for us. Listening to the post op presser from walters makes me want mulumba about as much as i would want chris jones involved in our franchise.

TPB> auto correct. Though auto correct may be funnier in the last few years.

Ive been watching the punisher netflix series. Im on episode 6 and man it is really good so far.

Agree. I think that battle takes place in camp, and I think coates takes the starter spot and woli takes the back up. If we could sign another legit no1 wr to join dressler and adams I wouldnt mind starting 2 NI wrs and keeping all 3. Does any one have a listing of each teams pending FAs yet?
-
For what hes shown in the nfl when given reps, hed get a first rounder if willing to sign no doubt. The value of a draft pick in comparison to a player you know you get right now, with nfl starts no less is dramatically higher then a first. I wouldnt expect a 1st or 2nd over all, but the als are soo poorly run any thing is possible. I dont know if hebert would fit well enough here to take as FA. Little on trade for. Couple lower picks, some back of the roster NIs, even a few choice Nlisters would be better for sure. I do like the edge hebert plays with, and commend him for still getting it done at his age. Cant question the guys love of playing (and hitting people) This was put in what 2 years ago? Idr. This is why we see half of each roster as FAs every year. I think its good for parity in the league. And to aid in really bad teams turning it around quickly. It also increases the value of multi year deals to guys out side of the NFL window age range.

He doesnt need it, guard is as much about toughness, durability, and dedication as any thing athletic.
-
You do, but if you build and maintain for the play offs and hope to break through your chances are not nearly as good as a team going all in in a short period of time to win it all. Not all GC winners are perennial play off teams.

Isnt that kind of how sports ownership works now? Arent most groups leveraging money to own and then trying to make more then they pay? Ala the ufc sale etc? Some owners come in with pure money, but those seem kinda rare. Though the cfl isnt the big bucks of an nba, or nfl team little on the ufc deal.

You are quantifying him as a 4.7 end and capable of this and that explosion, this and no further explanation does insinuate that. vert doesnt really give an idea of explosion by its stat. 2 step jumpers, 1 step, no step and slow risers can all have the same vert and drastically different explosivity. He played the OLB in 3-4s and a very limited bit of end in 4-3 in college. In which he didnt pass rush or produce as such. Hes been a Lber not an outter end or a 3-4 over end jack lber. Playing the 3-4 end down south, or the jack does not translate well to playing mlber here. The difference is westerman was a thorough breed pass rusher. College, nfl, thats what he did. He came up here, and did it here too. Dont be pedantic. That was the point, because hurl is a horrible lber.

Its not that those 15-18 are in a strict series no. But those 15-18 in the first 20 some yes. As i said, you do mix in other plays situationaly. Game flow and situation are Set by your opener. Thats how you set and control the tone. After that you cant pre plan, only strategize and prepare tactics. 18 plays in you arent gonna say give up on the run (unless ur plop) and arent going to know for sure if X strategy/tactic/play has been countered off the table by the D.

If he dedicated to playing nose like nevis... man itd be scary. centers around the league would have PTSD.
-
If we change our usage of the MLBer, and get an actual league average MLBer or better I think we can have a GC quality D. Also not sold on a db or two. If I could have my choice, id replace both. But their is value in continuity (especially when winning) and hall does make good adjustments. When his reps are limited to teams hes worth having around for sure. I like some of our young lbers on teams, but if you cant get a better guy to replace him it doenst hurt. So long as he isnt making the same money as starting.
-
LOL. His seat was getting prreetttyy warm with the public just before the turn around. I dont think he would have survived a 5 or 6 win season. But i do think it would have been done in the post season. I dont think this regime would can a coach mid season short of a jonsian level nightmare. I think wade, walters, and mos have been on the same page since day one.
-
I think it happens between GC and end of december, or not at all.
-
QFT. heard people sayin some crazy stuff about him since the mention that he grew up a rider fan...
-
I think some one picked him up after we cut him (but that might have been intzandt?) and I dont think he had more eligibility left. He might be out of football now. Too bad guy was a real specimen.
-
Used to have a pretty good one who was 6'0 185... Thats the truth. Cant doubt dresslers heart. I hope he doenst end up like pierce, Thats all attitude. And the Mos type of guy to a T.

Weve brought in far more decorated americans to no avail. Especially front 7 guys. If you want a plug and play replacement at MLBer, you look in the cfl FA pool.
