Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
wbbfan replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Its true. If we won the game, hall would still need to be canned though. The D needs to not give up multiple 5-7 minute td drives. 550+ yards to the argos offense. And lose a game that we had a double digit lead in the 4th. Not going into the play offs, and NOT against an east division team SOO desperate they gambled on almost every 3rd down. And made going for it on 3rd and 2-8 seem like a good idea. -
Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH

That horrible effort by walker really chapped my buttocks. Hurl atm is as much a sign of our lack of starting NI depth as any thing imop. We simply need 2 more starting NIs. 1 to get poop AND nevis starting and 1 to get an IMP mlber in for hurl. Long term that might be 3 Nis on the OL and 1 DE. But for right now with the injuries who knows. Hall wont be fired before the grey cup. But he should be. -
1 Dressler. Maybe the only guy who showed up and played like he belonged in the play offs. 8-129 1 td. Took a hellacious hit that should lead to a suspension. All heart. 2 Ogopogo. A huge pick ran back to the 1 and a deflection he nearly picked as well. 3 Tj heath. Sack on a blitz, pass knock down, and a couple wrap and tackles on a night a lot of our lbers and dbs got caught trying to hit or arm tackle. hh Ian wild flying down field to make a great stop on a kick off. Great to see him out and flying around again.

QFT. We need the roation of the 4 imp dl + corney and thomas. The amount of LBers we carry with no back up rb, and 1 db backing up 4 starting dbs + a sam is a real worry. We gamble with depth most weeks one day it will really hurt us.
-
No doubt. The beating blink and khari took behind the varied faces we had on the line was brutal. If QBs were protected any where near as well as they are today, and our ol was better that era would have lasted much longer.

Yeah a story like his just makes you appreciate him all the more. His talent level is that of a duron carter. Both have tremendous athletic ability. But where duron carter is a serious negative above the shoulders, mos attitude and heart are his greatest strength. When he does retire (hopefully many years and rings from now) I hope he moves into coaching. He is the type of guy the world needs molding young athletes into adults.

I reall dont know my self. So I looked it up for atleast a superficial idea. My self ive seen crazy variances in injury recovery. I ruptured 2 discs in my back pinched nerve whole shebang and was recovered in 4 monthes. While some one i knew required over a year for 1 disc in the same area (lumbar) despite a more mild injury. So recovery times imo have to be taken with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to pro athletes. If you are motivated and work hard in recovery it helps a lot. If you are also a freak athlete and work hard crazy stuff is possible. So I hope for the best for mo. Though this article starts off pretty scary. http://lermagazine.com/article/return-to-football-after-achilles-tendon-rupture

Yeah, its true of any major city with more then one sports franchise. But even out side of sports, competition for entertainment bucks seems to be at an all time high. So i hope they straighten that franchise out sooner rather then later. -

"with the first pick in the 2018/19/20 draft(s) the montreal alouettes are glad to select... I dont know how many terrible seasons that franchise can survive. And Quebec is such an important part of our NI talent in the cfl >.< -
Yeah especially this late in the year. We now have a hole to fill at sam. If we move him from corner to sam suddenly he has to adapt to sam (not all dbs can, though im sure he could) And have to fill his spot on the corner. Id only want to do a double swap if it put a better NI on the field instead of hurl.

16, 17, and 17 games his first 3 years. But yeah thats about it. Mo is a hell of a warrior, I just hope his recovery goes well and he comes back next year at 100%.

insert rodney dangerfield gif here* It seems like when the media pick against us we play our best. Dave ritchie would have this team chomping at the bit to show up the reporters in this league. -
That and watching him shed tackles by and bounce off guys twice his size. Watching first contact be 5 yards in the back field then some how he manages a 5-6 yard gain. If he had had a premiere OL and mike sellers blocking for him his whole career no records would have been left standing.
-
Wasnt he dave ritchies guy? I wanna say went to his alma mater. Also think he had some real bad drops. While we are at it, i still think jace davis got short changed in the offensive change over here.

Adams gone for rest of regular season

Remember when every one on here though desjardins was crazy for building a roster of WRs and qbs? Sask sucks because they have the worst management/coach in the league. Bcs qbing has had the wheels fall off the franchise. If i could pick one position to be stacked at (other then QB) its be wr. Swap mos/walters for Jones (shudder) and wed be the bottom rung in the league. Swap BCs qbing this year and ours and we are in the same boat as the leos. Maybe worse. -
That woodstock (i dont know if this one mentioned on the radio was another or this one) was just across the border. Americans are more protective of their anthem then any freedom. The ages old flag debacle in the world series etc. Mean while the mic cuts out in toronto and the canadian fans finish singing the american national anthem. Makes me laugh when i hear some people try to say we have no distinct culture all our own.
-
Ya we are. While we are talking about retreads, didnt ricky collins just get cut by the tabbies? Weve gotten a few kicks in at our self over him, wouldnt mind round 2 with him. Also a guy who can return kicks/punts. Guys like collins, and martese jackson a part of why the likes of thorpe will be re hashed a lot. Not as much at the thought that we walked away from a more talented player then we roster, but that he might come back to another team and make the move look bad.

I didnt see a combine appearance so its a bit up in the air. But yeah he certainly seems to be in that blink height range. With his shape and the stuff written about him he doesnt seem the at teasers with a pack, bottle n 2 hotties 12 hours before a game type. Heres hoping though, I do love to watch a quick change of direction undersized type play.

One of the radio stations i heard this morning (92 i think) said in the opening events for woodstock they played the canadian national anthem while americans threw bottles at em. The hip are a lot like the CFL in my mind. A cultural institution of canada. Out side our borders not a whole lot of people get the deep passion that burns for them here. The hip are like our own modern day beatles. Today the hip lost their front man, and we all as canadians lost a lil part of us. This the day after john dunsworth too. Just heart wrenching. Gord Downie may be gone, but the impact hes had on our country will still ripple greatly 100 years from now. The great one of music. The man, and band that march to the beat of their own drum no matter what. Id love to see today, or his birthday made a holiday. Stat or other wise.

This is nuts. I dont like carter. But i do admire the heart of any athlete willing to go out and try to play both ways. Thats insane. I remember eric wilson doing it for us on the line. If you go both ways as a db/wr you better have phenomenal milt like cardio. Cus dang even playing every other plays going both ways thats enough to tire me to death just watching. Id have his WR running a deep route every single play. -

QFT. Im not into social media and just the stuff i hear and see of pro athletes on that instatwiterbook is awful. -
Hes thew new pat barnes, or maybe tony ortiz. Givens might (and i hope) bring about a fog of forgetfulness when it comes to thorpe.
