  1. priority free agent
  2. weak isnt the word for it, imop. its diverse. no hands down top, little difference in talent in the top 3 rounds.
  3. hes also a good punter, and athletic. and in camp with the giants.
  4. hes got a camp invite with the giants
  5. yea pretty much.
  6. he loves potential guys. Real gamble picks. if any of these guys hit we get a starter quality.
  7. judges best 40 was 4.49 and his best vert was 42"
  8. He did, but he really only played one year. Competition doesnt impact much when you warm the bench.
  9. ready isnt a big barrier for entry to the cfl. A ton of guys are about to get picked who arent ready, and even who dont have a great chance at becoming ready. Talent, athleticism and size hes once in a generation type imop. (for the cfl draft) You bring in a ton of kids, you have to hope that your coaching staff and team can help bring out the best in him. Which we have the team and coaching staff for imop. Id rather bet on our team to help a guy with all the talent mature, then hope they can some how divine talent into a character type. That is how i am though. Faith who we are rumored to take has had questions of commitment n such as well interestingly.
  10. hes also 28 now. If he isnt a FA next off season (and i dont think he is) his nfl chance is close to zero.
  11. agree with all of that. its easy to slip between the cracks when you arent playing. If he isnt eligible for bengals (i have no idea that status) he really needs to play a full season of junior or go to the arena league or some thing. As a player, id take him right now with the first over all if possible.
  12. I did actually i played for broncos some years back now, and I have a soft spot for the league, even though it is a tier below the prairie junior teams and those are a tier below the cis. Questioning if I watched it when you called it "langford", Thought their passing game was effective or efficient, not knowing when he signed and what games he played doesnt make it look like you did. It doesnt matter who you have at WR when you cant get them the ball. They didnt involve him at all, and he still did well. Especially when you look at the last time he actually played a regular season game before that.
  13. Could, and when they did they won in a blow out. and simonise had his best game. The other two games? they lost. Put it in the air effectively? 52% in his first 2 games. 0 tds 3 picks. Their qbs tossed 2 td passes over those 3 games. After the loss to the hilltops they beat langley 44-24 and had a good offensive game.
  14. signed in week 6, after that game was played. so he played the remaining 3 games. He averaged almost 100 yards a game. Coming in 2/3s through the season. The sun are also a running team. They arent the calgary dinos. In his 3 games played they ran the ball 35 times, 38 times , and 20 times. Threw it 22 times(13-22), 26 times(12-26), and 29 times(19-29). 233 passing yards, 155 passing yards, and 333 All while splitting playing time between 2 qbs.
  15. only if you go by "alternate facts" he is any thing but an underachiever.
  16. Probably because he did not play in the final.... He didnt play in any of the play off games. Iirc because he signed with them in week 6 he was not eligible for the play offs. WTF is langford? Do you mean langley rams? as in the game he put 132 yards and a td up on 5 catches? his first game of the year there? Again, he played in 3 games out of 10 for the regular season... it was a conditioning thing...
  17. he was, he played 3 out of 10 games. But was 3rd in receiving yards for them. It was mostly a keep playing stay in football shape thing iirc. I think he signed there in week 6. http://www.cjfl.org/stats/team_instance/1938063?subseason=300046&tab=team_instance_player_stats Idr who but a poster here (regular season only type) is in bc and watches CFJL i think his son plays too, apparently when simonise played he looked all world. Which you would expect.
  18. he was cut by the bengals, they wanted to see him in another year. Iirc he played very sparingly but looked phenom esq when he did. Who knows if the bengals will still be interested in another year from now if he isnt eligible to do tc with them this year.
  19. Is he eligible to go to TC with the bengals? It will be really interesting to see what comes of him. Fantastic talent. But is he gonna do another year in junior if he isnt eligible for the nfl? He really needs to get a serious amount of reps in didnt he play like half a season in junior last year?
  20. thats pretty crazy even for the cfl draft.
  21. Last year he didnt really have any moves. His leverage however is and was very strong. He wasnt consistent getting out of his stance cleanly. The thing is we have great big guards (bond lol) If any thing a guy with limited mechanics and great athletic ability is better off on the DL. The type of polish he needs is exactly what you coach up. We also have intzandt on the OL side who is converted from OL, super raw and athletic. Plus couture grooming behind the starters. Moving a very good prospect/project from being the back up to like 4th back isnt a great idea. As is butcher as a lower use rotational guy probably doesnt create much pressure, though he has the potential to. But he could be used to run stop, negate passing lanes, and on both goal line/short yardage packages.
  22. i would do a bundle pack. (dont think TO would but who knows LOL) 10th this year, 19th this year, and their first round pick next year for the first over all and our 50th (6th round). Laing coombs their 4th rounder for our 6th over all maybe? This is the year to trade down for quantity imop.
  23. his strength is his explosion off the line... He needs technical refinement.
