riders cut a few prior to free agency. Dylan ainsworth a DL / teamer NI would be solid. Shamawd chambers could be use full in TC with the weak performance of our ni wrs last year. Mitchell gale was also let go. Wasnt he supposed to be apart of the qb situation that would certainly be better then what ever we have this coming year? -
No huge splashes, but a few solid back up type deals. I hope we bring in a bunch of DEs and a couple Lbs from down south to push the Dline and bass. That and I hope we get a legit back up qb.

The few high end ones like muamba earn big pay days. Of which sask has how many? Under jones they have spent like mad men on Imps. And over all far more money is paid to imps then NI in the cfl. -

Thats simply wrong. "The CFL slapped Saskatchewan with a $60,000 fine and cut the team's salary cap by $26,000 for using ineligible players during practices." "The CFL 's player salary cap is defined as part of the Salary Management System framework. For the 2016 season, the CFL Maximum Salary Expenditure Cap (SEC) is $5.1 million per team" Look at what MTL had to do mid season to get under sms. Sask was against it the year before last and had to cut down. But re spent. Then late in the year were again right up against it. Now, they are spending like drunken frat boys. QFT. it may be the off season but still it isnt that slow we need politics to bleed over in here. -

For glenn to go there soo early makes me think he didnt go for peanuts. You mean like the henoc muamba deal? That and Nis dont eat up the majority of cap space, imps do. Like duron carter. -

Where are the riders coming up with all this cap space? Werent they right up against it last year? Is jones just saying eff it? Carter is a great talent. But the greatest degree of head case. Itll be interesting to see if it was the setting in mtl or if he is a nutter. -
Must be related to daenerys targaryen, or robert baratheon. Titles titles titles. He was better then meh, he showed a great flash with hamilton against us alone. Not to mention the time darvin adams missed. Or smiths lack of production for most of last year. 8/14/11 games for adams smith and dressler. Dressler hasnt played 18 games since 2011 and that was the only time. Smith hasnt played 18, Adams hasnt played 18 either. Denmark played 18 3 years in a row going into last year. and missed 2 games total over the 5 years prior to last. He isnt big, but he is durable.

Would be a good move for him. HC jobs in the ncaa tend to be very plush, with much better job security and far greater control of the team. Not to mention college kids are generally easier to coach then pros. If he is canned and takes another job in the cfl this year he'd be an OC for sure. Short of a fantastic year as an OC he probably isnt high on the list to HC next year either. Going down to the ncaa for a couple years though could easily put him in a position to come back as a HC if he wanted. The right deal is probably more money to HC down their then OC up here too. -

Thats right too, if he was healthy he would be a decent way up the wish list for me. I dont think they are that hot when healthy. And linemen take a bigger beating then any other position. Not being able to stay healthy on line is a huge red flag. -

Thats true, but Olines are the hardest and slowest to build. we hit the lotto with imp ol in bond and even with a ton of talent it took a good while to get put together and come around. I imagine glenn is close to durants money, and didnt they sign henoc muamba to a massive deal? So far as back ups go the long list of guys that would be available one way or another is probably masoli, ray, cato, lefevour, kilgore, franklin, jensen, tate, and lulay. I dont think masoli is much of a pick up, and i dont think hammer would move him at a reasonable price. Ray/lefevour/kilgore are varying degrees of cost and desire. Im guessing they would move ray, but not too cheap. Lefevour might be the best bang for the buck. Franklin probably costs a fortune. Jensen is kind of a similar situation to franklin but with out all the hype. And like masoli in hamilton i dont see them wanting to give him up. Maybe one of lulay/tate get dealt probably tate. Mtl has vernon adams in the wings, and durant so cato especially with their cap troubles could be had i imagine. So short list some thing like lefevour, cato probably the most reasonable. Id prefer cato of the two. If we want to really give up assets and get a return with high up side, lulay/tate/ray/franklin. Kind of thin pickins but moves to be made. -
Stafford i bet came dirt cheap. Lankford smells like TCF. Course im still hoping denmark is back for tc. age, cost etc. Though i think stafford more pushes out gurley, not denmark. Or i sure hope thats the case.

Very similar to last year. Competent QB, young talented WRs, and not much else. Maybe the worst line in the league no D etc. Its a lateral move for the riders, who were the dredges of the league last year. Its a lateral move for KG. From mtl last year to ssk this year. MTL with durant as well. Though atleast MTL has some good bodies on D. As for us, it sucks. Hes really the perfect guy for a no2 for us. I really hope we dont stand pat at QB and go into camp with no real in game exp at qb 2/3. -
im not even that much but it was an intriguing card. That isnt really the kind of novelty fight i go for. Yeah that wasnt much of a fight. Some people (namey dan hardy) are saying it was fixed. Sonnen with out missing a beat called out wandy again for his next pay day. I mean fight. Thats one i would watch though. That knee was certainly the high light of the night. Pretty much though i watched chinzo too.

in the modern era I dont think any one else comes close. One of the best DLmen ever too. Few rush ends had that kind of impact on the game. reinbold offically takes over the cats D now. Good for him, i hope he does well when ever the cats arent playing the bombers.
-
man given his performance through most of the season i cant see an nfl team looking at him and seeing more the TCF. He should come back to the cfl on a 1 year deal and play his brains out. Yeah im gonna be really sad if denmark isnt brought back for camp agian this year.
-
they allllwaayysss do that. doesnt matter who it is. For a bit he was an elite qb. Last year he carried a pretty bad offense to being decent. (they have some good wrs, but a brutal line.)
-
bellator tnite. Im not generally a fan. It will be interesting to see the new unified rules in effect though. I really like the no jon jones pawing at peoples eyes with your fingers. Chinzo machida, and ralek gracie, i dont mind watching. Chael and tito i dont expect much from. Watching tito hit the mits for media he looked like the slowest man alive. Unlike last years fiasco with dada 5000 and kimbo slice this card has some hype for slightly more legit reasons.

you could go out and over extend your leverage and have far fancier home, car etc too. doesnt mean its wise. Remember the jays crowds prior to this run? Or when JP first took over? Flat out the primary limiting factor on salar in recent years has NOT been rogers. Its been the jays refusal to match other teams in length of term. no one is going to take a 3-4 year deal over a 5-6+ year deal with the same pay each year. Not to mention the lack of willingness to dip into FA at the cost of draft picks under the previous regime. Plus plenty of teams have tried to buy a winner with no success. Only bankrupting their ability to draft going forward. No kidding. with the exchange rate the current jays salary would be 202,744,048$ over 25 million more then the current no1 highest la dodgers. Going by total pay roll instead of 25m roster pay roll they would be 5th highest in the league.

cable was border line engineered but yeah. Hulks sons, franklin richards etc. But it wouldnt be very interesting if they had normal kids. Thats why even step brothers like cain marko (juggernaut), friends (james rhodes-war machine) spider-gwen, black cat, amadeus cho, etc. if you spend any significant time around a super hero/villain, or are related to one you will at some point have a super power. Mutants are an easy way to explain that away (as well as inhuman-terrigen mist exposure) but really its just hard to tell a story about a super human whose aliases enemies, frenemies, antagonists are human.

what really is strange is we arent reliant on getting FAs to turn out team around. That and we have the majority of our core locked up.

Its a bird, its a plane, its a good NI WR in blue!! never mind the bollocks. He was easily the best in his position last year. By a huge margin too. Not to mention tony burnett was a track star at USC and showed incredible wheels in his time, especially on teams. He lacks the natural LB instincts, and considerable polish but the last thing he lacks is any of the physical abilities to play any lber position. I question how much of our front 7 struggles are personnel and how much is the system. Id look long and hard for an upgrade for bass. But still love to have bass back in camp. Wild was a lot better pre injury. Im sure we will bring about 20 Lbers to camp any way.

That is for damned sure. In the years before this group took over running the bombers it was such a gong show. I feel worse about the mike kelly / mac era then i do about the reinebold era. Some thing i never thought possible. Would be great for the league if that mess got straightened out. Having laughing stock franchises is never good. That said im ok if the rider fans suffer a bit longer. -
yes because 162m dollars is cheap, which is 8th highest for 2017. (thats total payroll) And they are still signing guys. Top 10 pay roll in all of baseball the previous 3 years. How do the jets compare? Previous to last year the bombers were operating considerably under the cap while teams like MTL spent like drunk sailors. Edwin also took less money then the jays offered.

there is no comparison between signing willy with the extreme lack of time played, and nichols who has had a ton more starts. He certainly does have a point about the turn overs and short field. Id even add the record number of FGs we kicked. Going off how the riders franchise has run under its current regime, I cant see any reason to believe they would find even a league average QB. The guy is a homer writing trash. Mildly better then pederson.
