he would be taking flanders job if he made the team. When we had flanders and harris on the roster the DI spot was just wasted. We COULD make use of 2 backs but I dont think we will under plop. Thats why I was saying hes likely to be PR if he works out if harris is healthy. If one of harris or normand got hurt he / flanders would be the DI back up rb or starter. You never stop bringing in talent though. especially if they have a chance to be high level. When we brought in blink he had to fight his way on the roster and steal carries from troy mills, eric blount, and iirc corey philpot was on the roster in TC. Lots of high level competition at a position is how you maintain greatness and improve.

http://www.goetbutigers.com/athletics/directory/2922/kendall-roberson/ not a lot there but sounds like a good student athlete and like some one who loves football, and had deep roots with his program. pro day numbers of 4.48 40, 34.5 vert, 18 reps 225, 3 cone of 7.00, 4.16 shuttle, 9'9" broad jump. and measured 5'8. Certainly one of the more interesting rookie imps to watch for camp. http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/470-2/ http://herosports.com/collegefootball/east-texas-baptist-running-back-kendall-roberson-desire-greatness “I heard a running back say there’s a hammer and a nail in every football play,” explained Roberson, “you get to decide what you want to be. In a muddy game, in the rain, someone’s gotta be the hammer.” Roberson provides easy banter, doesn’t talk about himself or his attributes, instead focusing on his teammates and his faith. He truly feels blessed for his abilities and the opportunity presented to him at ETBU. Ya sounds like hes got a real good head on his shoulders and that hard nose hard work ethic that mos loves. Tbh, if he is gonna have any chance of making the active roster he is gonna need to be versatile and play teams. He does look like a serious threat to be the no2 back, the imp DI / pr incase harris gets hurt.

Where did you read that? I thought he was getting much more then that. If thats true thats crazy good value. When the best OL / BPA at no1 this year wont be in camp at best, and focault is arguably better this may have been the move of the off season. Buono does it again. -

AT THE TRACK AT THE WALL HE CAN LOOK UP PUCKER UP AND KISS IT GOODBYE! cant lie i loved his pbp. I can totally see how its not for every one though. (baseball especially goes well with his kind of enthusiasm) -
Reminds me of a certain sac state alum who rushed for 409 yards in one game and had a nice lil career here... (more then fred reid any way lol) Normally when you see a stat line like his (especially in sub d1 competition) you think its horrible gap assignment issues and running through wide open holes (like the fred reid game up here) but he seemed to run through arm tackles or better contact on all most all those plays. Reminds me a bit of cam marshall. Short stocky rb, good speed, good strength, runs north south a lot. Likes the contact doesnt shy away at all. Lots of run plays out of the gun which should translate well, and had a couple catches which is allways good too. Should be fun to watch him in camp.

If hes looking at a camp invite, i would agree. If however a team is gonna sign him he should take it. Even if he only lasts camp the bonus and money he'd get for camp would be massive. IF its just a camp invite i would agree that he should use it as leverage to get a hefty deal to come straight to the cfl. I really dont think hes in the picture for first over all at all. (no inside info just my 2c) Idk if he'd even be a guy to look at with the no3. He was smaller then listed, is a guy that probably needs a year of seasoning on teams, and then still doesnt have the up side henoc had (imop). Not counting ankou, senior and gray due to nfl interest, I still cant see him going over vandervoort, bladek, woods, etc. Wr and OL are money picks in the cfl. Even the misses (our misses aside) tend to be serviceable players. Its positions teams tend to stock up and value highly every year. May not like vandervoort, but you cant question that with his 1 on 1s his stock could not have gone down in this draft. Also I dont think waggoner could fill the same spot as mulumba. So you cant even use one to back up the other as depth. Youd need to pass on a possible starting NI else where for a guy thats probably a back up and for whom you dont have another ni back up. Id take the chance on colling over mulumba. Neither first though. I think with the no1 its gonna be between gray and ankou depending on nfl interest. Maybe vandervoort if the other two get too much interest or the club falls/fell in love with him from tape/interview/work outs. At 5, depending on who we take first behar, maybe colling, one of the guys who is gonna fall (ankou, bladek ,gray, vandervoort, woods or ekitake) or even a risk on some one with an nfl camp invite but not a deal is gonna be hard to pass on. (mainly senior)

A signee may or may not be on the roster that year. If they make it through mini camp, do the full or most of the TC, and dont sit around for too long hoping some one else picks them up as a FA, they might get to the cfl for what the 1/3rd mark? For a rookie TC and pre season is huge. Practice is based around winning the next game, correcting problems from the previous game(s), etc. Its much less about getting guys reps to learn and improve. TC is all about getting guys in action, working with them and evaluating them. Not to mention the chance to get into actual game situations against another team, and be allowed to work things out no matter the score or game. Those things are hugely valuable to a rookie. Havent looked at the schedule yet so im not sure where the miss camp point would be (mini camp invite, mid tc cut etc) but short of a guy thats very much ready to step in and contribute (which is rare) that first year is shot.

Those movies pain me soo much. The last one i saw i fell a sleep in the theater. As a car guy im glad they have gone away from the horrible fake race stuff to crazy car action flick. Jeepers creepers 3 this year, the first 2 were kind of a guilty pleasure for me. Dont like the look of pennywise in IT, dont think the movie needed a remake but maybe itll be good. Alien covenant for some reason im sitll gonna check this out. I really didnt like Prometheus but im hoping they will pull it out and make some thing good.

except for the fact gray is a guard, which every team in the cfl uses. and ankou is a nose tackle, and does any one in the cfl run the 3-4 currently? People talking about various DTs needing to trim down to closer to 300 lbs, guys like butcher but ankou is note ably shorter and heavier. Ankou should have far more interest from the nfl as well. Ankou is more in a position like tony auclair. Probably heavy nfl interest, questions of positional fit in the cfl etc. Reasons to pick gray that dont apply to ankou? You can never have enough NI ol. Ni ol is allways the hotest position in the draft and chances of gray slipping very far arent good. DL with nfl interest can slide a good bit. NI ol is generally the safest pick in the draft. DL, even from a us school not soo much. Gray is a local product so we should have a lot more knowledge on him. Not to mention the closeness of the bisons program to the bombers. Taking gray would long term be a shift in our ratio. Should we take ankou and he works out we move a canadian for a canadian. Even if butcher hits we dont carry the kind of big dl bodies to back up 2 ni dts. etc. Ankou is a whole other situation to consider from gray. If any thing else id compare drafting him to drafting a WR. Either would have a chance to take a starting position, be on the active roster and make an impact rotationally at worst right away. Of course ankou and nfl interest makes picking him high risky helps right now pick. Cant say how they line up head to head but colling would be here this year, and would fill the exact same spot.
-
Let me clarify, i dont think gray gets drafted. I do think he is a priority FA for at least 1 team. His skill set and size combination is 100% worth a contract and year on the PR. I cant imagine him falling lower then the late 2nd round in the cfl draft. But thats pure speculation on my part. Even signed as a first day FA hes worth the risk of a 2nd rounder all day imop. Ol dont normally fall too far in the draft.
-
going into the NFL now as a guard is like getting drafted in baseball as a closer. A tackle can allways slide inside, but few guards can push out to tackle. Other wise theyd allready be playing tackle. Gray is a different animal though based on his athleticism and size alone. Some team could easily want him based on that alone.

eh not some thing to worry about pre all star break. Especially not some thing to worry about first month of the season.
-
some impressive plays there.
-
ya, a real lead off hitter would be great but the line up will come around.
-
its a tough start to the year, but with the good young pitching im not worries but its the first month. well see how things are next month.

He went from president back to coach then to ceo. He took over the front office in 01 and changed to board member in 09. Filling in several other roles in that time. He is far from a fly by front office manager. He essentially ran the team for 8 years. what exactly about clemmons makes you think he'd be the kind of guy to settle for a smile and hand shake education? besides in that era it was the communications degree. Not business. Brand ambassador? Hes a board member. Youre grasping and trying to hammer him into a niche to which he clearly does not fit. This isnt a certain nfl wash out DL who went to florida graduated and could hardly read.

Well coached the argos, which is basically running a business at the ground level. Then he was president and CEO as well, which is running a business, and a football business from the top. He also has a degree in economics from william & marry. If you want a face of the league, and a guy who isnt learning football/cfl on the fly but lives and breathes it idk how you could do any better.

Moved from qb to slot wr too, got stuck behind derek carr. Looks like he improved with time in college. going from 56%, 21 tds 11 ints and 2293 yards in 11 games in 2015 to 64%, 31 tds 8 ints, 2702 yards in 12 games in 2016. Drills and hs footage isnt a great measuring stick. But he does show a really good release, and flashes really good touch. The finer ball placement though is really hit or miss. Some times hitting right in the numbers then throwing behind or low, or putting it out in front too much. With his level of experience and moving around that could easily come around. Seems like the perfect guy developmental guy. Looks like he scrambles to throw rather then a true dual threat. Doesnt really seem to have a glaring weakness. He looks like robert marve. But with out the ton of knee injures, and relative advanced age to experience. Should be fun to watch in camp and going forward to see how he develops.

if you want a face for the league there is none better. I think that would make the position more of a figurehead then a commissioner in any other pro sports league. Course maybe its allready that way. I thought orridge did a good job. No one is gonna live up to cohon any time soon. We could do, and have done a whole lot worse. There were a bunch of changes i didnt like in the last few years. XPT, PI, etc but i think thats 99% the BOG and 1% the commish. The worst part of this is the rider fans are gonna be soo happy and think its because of his "hatred" of them. and picking on them.
-
yeah really have to take hs footage with a grain of salt. Sounds like a guy with a high end tool set though. Also sounds like our prototype for a qb. Athletic, good size, big school back up with high up side who transfers to a small school to get play time etc. He got stuck behind david carr then went to a smaller d2 school and did well.
-
idk if they will do the previous incarnation of loki as her dad. might be too over the head of casual movie fans. youre right, youre right. I think he nailed how most people feel. If they hadnt gone back on loki diying i think it would have been much better. and did a better job with the dark elfs.
-
he is fast did you watch the tape? havent seen a DT that explosion (even in d2) since idk when. Even at that weight guys like him and butcher could run circles around jake thomas types.
-
no, how heavy is travis bond? doug brown isnt exactly a replicatable player / situation either. how many 6'8 dts in the league. especially ones who play over the nose soo much as he did. Gaydosh is about the same but 6'3, tennant is 6'2 305, laurent is like 6'0 305 nevis is 6'2 and listed 301. This is all a similar body composition just taller and shorter. if any thing i bet a few of those shorter guys would be much heavier scaled up. What was that DT we had from ott who was like 5'9 300+? He started on his hands and knees. The nfl scout report said he could gain weight and not only not lose athleticism but gain as he was a sub matured 320. People really get stuck on silly numbers over all in height and weight instead of going case by case. Athletes vary soo greatly you cant say you need to be built as 6'4 300 etc

Agree, expected little of this card and wasnt disappointed. couple good tilts, nothing much more then youd see on world star though. To be honest rumble seemed self defeated, it happens a lot in fighting that a guy beats him self. even before he steps into the ring. it is however not common for the main event of a pro ppv. Pearl is in line for the ufc hype machine. Shes better then thug rose or vanzant. Not any where near the top tier of female fighter though. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2017/4/10/15253692/ufc-210-daniel-cormier-weigh-in-controversy-mma-news A break down of how the towel trick DC used works. You dont lean and put weight down on it, you just use it to carry a tiny bit of the weight from your arms. He 100% deserves to be stripped of the belt. (a belt he still hasnt earned imop) But then what a teixiera gus interim interim match? dc and jon jones for a none title event after that? dc manuwa and jj OSP2 / rua? That divsion is such a dogs breakfast. Worse then heavy weight now. Never thought id say such a thing. Im soo tired of the BS matches and weak @$$ cards.
