not the same ol, and has had a crazy amount of turn overs from the D with amazing field position. No comparison. And as long as the team continues to win the chances we get to see willy behind this set up is slim.
wasnt bond hurt at the end of the first pre season game? its tough to keep straight with the way IR is used to save cap space now. we only learned that loffler was ready to start by him having to go into game action. other wise idk where we would have come up with the extra NI to sway the ratio and allow us to start the extra imp on the OL. start hurl and bench bass/wild?
neufeld is a ni and thats who you refereed to previously. Him and keeping kinda log jammed in by both not being able to stay healthy.
Who else do you think is underachieving and well paid that can be replaced by younger guys on this team?
10+ hits in the first game of the season, 0 in the last game.
could certainly help, but cant get rid of him /keeping with out some one who can stay healthy. Both have spent much/all of the season on the ir so i dont think they have counted against the cap for much. Maybe if both get healthy we could flip them to some one desperate for a younger/healthy ni ol body. Doesnt even have to be a very warm body.
agree with them spending too much time on nhl.
id like to see some one with more diverse sports knowledge and bring that diversity to the station but it wont happen.
yeah hes best in moderation or well off set by some one. I wonder if 1290 might try to poach doug brown since ob is too cheap to even send him on the road.
I dont think westy is a terrible radio guy, but hes pretty much the nut job for pure entertainment value. Hes good as a 3rd wheel, not bad as a strong personality for some one else like walby to bounce off of.
Liked edmunds alot, he and westy for instance were good together to off set each other.
Toth wouldnt be bad, never minded him.
yep.
Cant stand him, you see other guys have some bias here n there. But none so blinding. Hes the epitome of the league needs the riders movement, gods gift to canadian football etc etc etc.
The cfl, and the media out lets should not have him involved in any part. We are ridiculously fortunate to have tate and irving, not to mention doug brown and chris walby.
pederson is down below marty york at a level all his own.
junior football is a tough sell, and the grass roots levels in manitoba are heavily under developed. The broncos averaged 500-600 including FnF. If the bombers continue the turn around and become consistent contenders for a few years we may finally see grass roots develop to a higher level.
Some US colleges back in the day built a following by giving large amounts of free tickets to high schools, which promised very high turn out. A few schools even brought in tons of band classes from surrounding hs's which made for a crazy loud atmosphere. Idk if thats doable here and now with the entertainment options to teens after/kids school.
pretty much. But if he isnt the future, and they fall out of contention which would be a couple loses away, they need to move away from glenn. Too much money on a team thats in cap trouble plus they have young guys and if you arent winning you gotta be developing guy that will help you win.
Clicking links isnt a matter of tech savvy.
they do, but sharing whole articles is wrong. Snippets are good and i do that some times but that article was far too long to take any snippet and do it justice.
think so.
thats from the bleacher report page linked on the first page of the thread. I dont think we are supposed to post full articles copy paste on here.
cant see keeping that around with the plethora of Lbers and young canadians we have but I dont see getting rid of him mid season unless another team gets desperate for NI depth.
no joke, every hit he lays looks like hes running 40 yards down hill to get away from an angry bear. Looks like the prototypical wedge breaker the nfl used to employ. I dont watch the nfl any more, but iirc in 09 the out lawed it is it still against the rules? Even so gunner on teams all day.
