They kind of look like the best guys at the college level via position. Not predicting how they will translate to pro. So you have the college/pro-football version of the AAAA prospect in baseball. A guy who crushes tripple A competition but cant contribute at the level of bench/fringe starter in the major league, ranks above a guy who is an up side prospect and could still have his best football ahead of him. Every year we see sleepers who are polished football players then athletic freaks picked low and out perform their draft rankings. The scouts could also be shying away from the potential guys in favor of guys who are likely to produce in some form at the next level.

well atleast it isnt bomber season, or draft/free agency day. May your time living like the amish end soon.

Moon knight is such a crazy character i feel like they could cut back a lot and still have a great deal to work with. Really like cloak and dagger, will be interesting to see how abc does it. Depends on where you are. If i go 30-40 minutes west or an hour east i have 0 signal on my cell. Here, i have fantastic cell coverage. But some carriers have none here etc. My hard line used to be horrible too, but in the last month and a half or so its gotten up to a decent level finally.

no one was turnstyled vs westerman last year sadily. When it comes to ol ill take quality over all. You can have almost no statistical production from a NI wr (we have seen it first hand) You can have a back up level Dt gap cancel. You cant have an OL play like nuefie did last year. Allways take a ni over an imp? what imps wouldnt you take over neufie?

not a large enough sample size, so far good not great not bad. will have to wait n see.

They seem to have been trying to push dawson from the role of night nurse to a hero. Not a fan of it. I really like her as night nurse, though she wasnt as good in this as DD and luke cage. I just finished up too. The ending wasnt what i was hoping for either. And the back half tone. marvel has lots of darkness, as does the defenders. Wouldnt have liked to see danny rand stay the was he was in the first 1/3 or so. Over all It was good, not as good as luke cage over all. Typical marvel series in that it has too many mini boss villains, hints at the rest of marvel too much with out having any cross over. I liked it better then s1 of daredevil. And better then s2, punisher aside. (jon berenthal was an awesome punisher) I havent been able to gut it out through jessica jones. Though I will try one more time. The great thing about power man and iron fist, heroes for hire, and defenders was it wasnt all monotone. It was different characters, street level heroes who at their heart are real people. While characters like tony stark were larger then life in their flaws and ability these guys were more relate able. The series didnt use music as well as luke cage, though it tried. I felt like it tried to avoid the mistakes of luke cage and tried soo hard to do so it failed to separate it self. Falling into a cliche for these series. I really enjoyed gao, she stole the show every time she was on screen. Weve seen a lot out of her character and i look forward to seeing more. Hogarth the lawyer was also fantastic. Colleen wing was good, and her interplay with danny rand was great. Easily the best romance out of all these series. A must watch for big MCU fans. A good watch for more casual fans. Better then re watching the movies. Id really like to see a good adaptation of moon knight, but idk how possible that would be. Seeing Constantine fixed and rolled into this level would be great too.

mm thats an interesting theory. She flashes a little power briefly in the series. Talks about being older then youd think. With her level of manipulation and lack of worry over profits, business, and lack of fear in the face of powered individuals she certainly is more then a little old lady. She specifically takes about a time in the 1500s, which is when the hand is founded. She could be the demon known only as The Beast. Who early on took over the hand and became its leader. Instead of being a lieutenant, shes actually the head of it all. More likely, I think shes the crane mother. The former ruler of one of the cities of heaven, whom the order rand was saved by follows. Hense her familiarity with the city, iron fists etc. The crane mother also had issues with a previous iron fist. And that logo on her H? the iron fist logo with out wings. Maybe partially a shot at the iron fist, maybe more crane then dragon.

they do seem to have a bit of a banal formula. I was hoping danny rand would be a more comedic vibe but cant blame them for following the cash cow. Yeah it heavily dips across all the story lines, as does hydra but really peaks in defenders. Some of the story line gets a little out there especially with elektra. I could see them using dr strange in as a big name assist in the heavy stretch with defenders vs hand. I cant wait for that series in general. Seeing how these well fleshed out characters will bounce off each other. As for a major future phase for main line marvel i cant see it. Even if skrull/kree, follow up of world war hulk, zombies, death of wolverine, etc arent viable for various reasons, the likes House of M, secret wars, and thor the un worthy, are sure fire future story lines. And with a probably slate wipe coming after the 2nd infinity war a story line like house of m is almost sure fire. They have scarlet witch, they dont have the mutant name, though that may change by that time, if not they are going to be going inhumans by then any way. It would be a great way to trim the roster and push them.

I wonder if that and the current regimes emphasis on "character" is why he was released. small time dealers sure. The largest pushers are closer to the distributors these days. The white market in the area has been hotly contested, and there have been a bunch of arrests going back a few years now. Junkie pushers arent a good way to stay out of jail. with the white liquor its the violence brought on by the amounts of money that would be the concern. -
Im a good few episodes in, it started a bit slow (dont all netflix / marvel series) but is pretty good so far. Not as good as luke cage to this point. Comparable to daredevil id say, worlds better then jessica jones. Marvel has become enveloped in this sjw trend. It has the comics stuck deep in a rut not seen since the comic book collapse. Some thing like 18 of the top 20 us grossing comics currently are DC, marvel has 1 title up there.

yeah im about to start it too. I saw some really dumb stuff too, people complaining that danny rand isnt Asian.... i loved that show. Such a great cast.

Id rather trade down and get a first next year / year after rather then have 3 firsts in one year

Chris Jones Signs Vince Young: Brilliant or Desperate?
wbbfan replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Qbs are not very interchangeable cfl - nfl and back. Ricky ray couldnt cut it down south. danny mac, hank etc etc. And the offensive style gap only widens. Older qbs with experience do seem to improve decision making and throw selection. Damon allen, and AC come quickly to mind. Time off / out of position can help as well as in kerry joseph. That said his deficiencies arent likely to have improved, and his passing skill set doesnt project favorably. Is he a worth while sign? sure. worth a lot of money? no. High risk pick up, not sure if hes still high reward or not. He could be low risk high reward if used sparingly in a wild cat esq package + goal line formation but i dont see that happening. -
Chris Jones Signs Vince Young: Brilliant or Desperate?

Yeah dont think they are bringing 12 into camp like the als. Running 5 with one guy only getting coffee is tough. More then 5 is nuts. Just not enough reps to evaluate, get people in the groove etc. An extra guy just to throw passes in mini camp doesnt hurt, though thats done semi regularly by coaches, visiting coaches, etc 2 kinds of football teams. Ones that are comfortable with their qb situation, and teams frantically trying to get a comfortable set up. Didnt we have one like that last year with people raging that we didnt get harris/collaros, etc? -
yeah is a great read. Ed tait is the best pick up the bombers have made in years haha. He was still great in the paper before, but having him dedicated to the blue is fantastic.

That probably is the idea behind it. Though with those ends i would over hype every one. Casual cfl/hammy fan sees that and sees the cats drafting the next fantuz at 4 they go oh man i better follow this! Same fan sees bauman and goes .... The level of quality in cfl media under the elite tier is pretty low. The drop off from good guys around the league is massive. Thats really what results in an article like this imop. Not sure if he wants to do a hype piece or a serious piece, doesnt know how to get the desired effect either way.

more likely similar skill set / size coming out. Its safe comparisons as opposed to comparing guys to milt, blink etc. Like people who compared deshawn stevenson going into the nba to michael jordan. A range is usually better like at worst a jon oosterhuise but has the up side to be a doug brown etc. comparisons suck.
