I posted the same link 10 hours before, and thats why i posted the link not the article.
-
no but its also free booting. Im not sure if its still in effect but it used to be you werent supposed to copy paste full articles.
-
think so. thats from the bleacher report page linked on the first page of the thread. I dont think we are supposed to post full articles copy paste on here.
-
cant see keeping that around with the plethora of Lbers and young canadians we have but I dont see getting rid of him mid season unless another team gets desperate for NI depth.
-
no joke, every hit he lays looks like hes running 40 yards down hill to get away from an angry bear. Looks like the prototypical wedge breaker the nfl used to employ. I dont watch the nfl any more, but iirc in 09 the out lawed it is it still against the rules? Even so gunner on teams all day.
-
the refs will miss him. xD
-
With nfl cut down day, pr day etc still coming im surprised a guy like this fell to us now. Surprised and happy.
-
We could use some one to stretch the D, but I dont trust mcduffies hands.
-
fingers crossed some guys are healthy and 100% this week.
-
That was some thing joe said for the longest time when ever any one got side mount position. But your right.
-
Mtl is a couple losses from being out of it, this is probably as high as his value will ever get again. It depends on if pop thinks glenn is a part of the future in mtl or not. I think that deal only goes through if we some how work in salary cap relief for them. Or any deal they do this year. That would be interesting too. I like cato, Id certainly take him over our back ups. Though keeping 4 around is allways a good idea.
-
I may be wrong, but i believe most veteran back ups have clauses like that, start x number of games and you get paid closer to starters money. I imagine he is a few weeks away from hitting that mark. Its hard to say what our cap space is like right now, we have a bunch of guys on IR. I bet denmark didnt come back to elite wr money. (100k range maybe?) He hits that mark I think we are looking to ship willy. Question is would we have takers on him. I firmly believe willy has upside that nichols doesnt. I dont know that he has the ability to full fill that potential atleast not here. I fear a trade of hank for willy. Durant for willy? No chance. Id take it though. I dont see any reason sask would do that deal. What about glenn for willy? I think thats more interesting as its a bit more probable.
-
that doesnt apply to qbs though ~.o Is sam making big money? I cant imagine he is breaking the bank with that deal. Would like to see waggoner get his snaps cant lie.
-
xD he was soo over blown. Hes a good guy to have as a spare lber, teams guy etc. short of tailoring a system around him though hes not a good starter on a contender.
-
Yeah he is, seems like he bulked up to about 250 before signing in the nfl, then a tiny bit more since then. He apparently played both ends easily in college which is good. And he has a had a good portion of reps at LBer. Hes got that pass rushing, play making allways in the back field, nose for the ball nature. A guy like that will run around the field and make plays at many positions. But the plays you miss are what defines your position as much as the type of plays you can make. I wouldnt want to see him in coverage other then zone. Have to temper expectations though hubbard and green and others have come in with the tool kit and pedigree and been under whelming.
-
if we wanted to play a 3-4 physically he could certainly play ilb. His primary skill set is pass rush though, and the knock on him in college was he struggled with reads and run blocking so any lb action would probably best be if he was a positional pass rusher. I think we should just free him and let him play de.
-
all but 4 of his starts came his final year. That year was also the majority of his sacks. before that he was mainly a teams guy. They were trying to make him an OLB before that as well. When they unleashed him in his senior year at DE he was a match up nightmare. 8.5 sacks 16 TFL in 12 starts. I imagine he could draw in quickly for teams play and rotating. Playing that much teams at a high level in the ncaa but even more so in the nfl can be very rough. But only time will tell. Im excited to see what he can do.
-
ehh depends on the school and even then that can evaporate pretty quickly. Hes in a good situation doesnt have to rush to make any decisions, he can just go out play football and let avenues open for him.
-
what i mean is hes a head hunting hard hitting core special teams guy. His play style is hebert. But at his speed he might be able to play saftey if no other db was available. his fastest 40 timed was 4.43 though most of his pre work outs where low 4.5, the way he gets down field on coverage is un real for a man his size. Gavin walls in his type of rush end. a pure pass rusher whose under sized for the nfl but an athletic monster with a great motor. Yeah he doesnt have a ton of starting experience but coming out of a strong system never hurts.

http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/08/22/bombers-add-de-eric-martin/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1599347-eric-martin-scouting-report-nfl-outlook-for-nebraska-olb Looks like a great athlete who bulked up some in the nfl. A true rush end but spent of his nfl time at OLB, as he was considered too small to play DE. Looks like a high up side guy. Glad we arent resting on our success, and hoping guys like green turn into some thing. http://www.fieldgulls.com/nfl-draft/2013/4/11/4184840/nfl-draft-2013-seahawks-sleepers-de-eric-martin-nebraska Sounds like his up side is a cross between kyries hebert and gavin walls. Hard hitting guy who has played a ton of special teams.

http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/08/21/ritchott-fires-for-rifles/ Had him self a heck of a game. Hats off to him.
-
Yeah he has. Have you heard randy couture prefers side mount? LOL
-
oh man... if that happened sask would be in such bad form you might feel sad for em.
-
xD it was a pretty terrible job of scoring any way. conor won the 4th for certain and destroyed in the 1st and 2nd. The 2nd should have been a 2 point round with 2 knock downs and a ton of damage. Tons of finishes, but aside from high lights you didnt miss much. Rumble is savage, why you go at that guy early ill never know. Eh hes easily swept up in the momentum of the fight. He was heavy on mcgs nutts early and diaz late. Though the 5th was really close and that take down late was any thing but big. I hope to see him move to fight companion full time sooner rather then later. Hes entertaining and I like him but he isnt the guy to do that job. Yeah I had it 49-46 though 49-47 is very easily possible too. Who ever had it 47-47 should be fired from any sort of judging.

mcggigles vs dopiaz 2 tnite. Feel like this card is under whelming in terms of name power. Though it has a couple guys who bring it.
