3 sacks on glenn, a TON of pressure 1.6 yards per carry for marshall. Id say its safe to say our DL has been turned around.
-
1 Dressler. 6-124 2 tds 20.7 ypc 1 carry for 22 yards. Early when the offense struggled he was still very good. When it opened up he was all world. 2 Medlock. 5/5 on field goals including game winner. 45+ yards per punt and 65 on kick offs. Early when the offense struggled we kept field position reasonable with great kicking and great teams. 3 Nichols. 23/36 331 4 tds 1 pick. Another slow start for the offense. Un characteristically struggled late in the game. But between that he was on fire. If he played like that the whole game he would have put up 8 tds. hh Some really big plays and hits. Corney had a huge hit on glenn on a shovel pass. But im going with knox. Who had 2 bone rattling hits on teams. The "rko" as some one dubbed it in chat was the kind of hit on teams you dont see too often. Flew in out of position and destroyed the riders return man.

that would be fantastic, i think we out play them to that level but dont out score em. first game of the year n all.

long long over due first game of the season! 6 teams have played twice and weve played once. Now that is screwy. To say im excited for this is a huge understatement. I think the game will be close on the score board but that the blue will handily out play the riders. 17-10 for us.

Scary thing is 12$ an hour at 40 hours a week is 1,920 a month before taxes. About 1,286 take home a month.

The problem isnt wage, its wage : cost of living. Drastically alter one and the other will adjust to compensate. The minimum wage isnt the barrier its the middle class. We need to rebuild the middle class and lower the barrier for entry. It would be any thing but easy. Bumping the wage and praying it works is easy. Easy way outs seldom work in general though.

We are soo lucky to have had him in blue, and just as lucky to have him working with bob on OB. His articles were allways fantastic too. One of the greatest people weve been lucky to have. Hes our pinball clemons.

Not the most exciting position for some. 84 and maybe early 90s OL as well. Its hard to compare athletes of multiple generations. Especially OL past a certain point. You get to a time pretty quickly when the average OL was 100lbs smaller then bond. -
west cal 12-5-1 edm 11-6-1 wpg 11-7 bc 11-7 ssk 6-11-1 east ott 8 -9-1 mtl 8-10 to 7 - 11 ham 5 - 13 I think the west and the league as a whole is gonna be very close this year.

Yeah if you go back far enough you probably find an ol as good. 84 perhaps. Though idk if even then we were as deep. The young up side we have behind the starters is incredible. Some thing of a cross between ben cahoon and fantuz. Ofc not saying he is or will be either of those guys. Just that his skill set and size (fantuz) is very much similar to those two. -

Just the toxic opinion towards our scouting of wrs, especially NI in the last fist full of years. We have had some young NIs come in with hype and do very little. People are jaded towards our drafting of NI wrs, and and even more so towards our supplemental picks. Going back to joe morgan we havent done well with those picks. For many reasons. He isnt the same kind of player as poblah, or jade. Richards is a similar athlete, but the difference between being a good wr at regina and the go to guy in a big 10 school is massive. Richards imo was a high potential low percentage pick. A guy with the raw tools to be an elite cfl ni wr. But not the greastest chance of full filling that potential. wolitarsky is a good up side, good chance to full fill that potential. With blaszko, yachison, and now wolitarsky as young high up side guys to back up JFG (and coates though hes as much a teams guy as any thing) Richards time here is running very low. Very happy with wolitarsky and blaszko though. And yachison showed very well too. Pretty happy with our NI depth. -

No kidding. Crazy good steal. Love the way he moves, finds soft spots, but especially the way he attacks the ball with his hands and doesnt depend on the body catch like soo many young wrs. Looks the ball into his hands then turns up and takes what he can get. Physical, great size n tool set. Looks like a real smart player too. freakin love this pick up. https://santaclaritafree.com/gazette/news/wolitarsky-great-catch-nfl Pro day numbers of 4.67. 14 reps 225. 6.88 cone drill. 4.22 shuttle. His 40 would have been just out side the top 5. His shuttle is the same. 3 cone would have been the best at the combine this year. http://www.draftseason.com/2017/03/25/drew-wolitarsky-minnesota-gopher-wide-receiver/ Using 1 word describe your style of play. Not many high lights, a lot of low lights, one brown light. It wasnt just bellator weirdness though, any time BJ penn fights that qualifies too. fatty hendricks missing weight by like 3.5 pounds and still getting ktfo. Over all it was a weekend with a lot of fights and a lot of fighters id rather never see fight again. It seems like once a year at some level or another an mma fighter poops the mat. literally.

If neufeld is that heady with the OL, hes well worth having around just to mentor the young guys we are grooming. So long as he doesnt see action... Maybe he has a future after playing of being an OL coach. Not only did nye rank us with out us having played this year, he dropped us like a rock with out us having played. 1 game, the first game of the season no less doesnt change things too dramatically for me. Cal is still the power house of the league until proven other wise. Ott looks strong, with healthy harris at qb. Dont think he has the bounce back ability from getting banged up and rocked. Similar with ricky ray and TO. With out ray they are probably the bottom of the league again, and thats a matter of time. (isnt it?) Improving teams tend to lose close games. But the riders under jones have perpetually been that team. If i was a tabby fan, id be worried. Another season with a heavy dose of masoli would be awful. Id slot us in under edm, and probably under ott for now if i had to rank us before we play. Over all the league looks really tough top to bottom. The riders may win few games but id expect them to be losing close games again. No roll over free spot on the bingo card win by 30 team. Should be a great season for football! cal bc edm ott to mtl ham ssk

They are trying they had fedor didnt they? Crocop looks 15 years younger i may need to try what ever the hell he is on. hahaha maybe the best moment from this weekend of MMA action.

drew willy 2.0

last emperor really really needs to hang em up. Yeah, some people hyped this as the best mma card of the year. My expectations were low and i was still slightly disappointing. Rizin needs to get the old guys who refuse to hang em up, let em juice to their hearts content then fight pride style.

go tigernaughts. Itll be interesting to see how rickety old ray looks to start the year.

wow that return talk about turning nothing into some thing.

johny on the spot good stuff. gotta love wylie Its amazing to listen to him in retrospect talking about how the 5 starters are NOT set, and how good the new guys brought in were. With both bond and hardick coming over that off season. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/06/browns_offensive_line_coach_bo.html another great one from bob. Such an interesting test for players! -

I didnt know he had a site interesting. I remember a few threads on bob wiley and a surly interview around camp last year. Wasnt it both bond and hardrick drawing in after a few weeks last year? Or was some one playing out of position? Either way the shift was gigantic.
