What I think too. Db stopped and stopped woli
-
Not for me
-
Kyrie Wilson did a great job disrupting screens to the back twice
-
He does but if it's on target he gets an easy first down. Three feet too high he couldn't have gotten the first down. That pass needs to be on target. Olivera had a great block on the return too
-
Playbook isn't why he got cut. Unless he kept dropping that too. The only thing your get that you wouldn't from advanced scouting is maybe a couple deep playbook tricks with a very low chance of seeing those and being too slim to prep for. Now what could be tipped off is signals on play call if a coach isn't adjusting them each week. I'm not worried though.

Bo. He's should be an excellent plug up the middle. A tackle machine. But he's never going to be An asset in coverage like that. Bighill shouldn't cover a guy like whitehead forget Herdman doing it
-
I'm gonna predict the passing game dominates. I think the interior of the line will need more time to mesh for the run game. Big game for whitehead and jefferson and bighill. Bombers put up 30-40 points and win by 10 or more

They aren't real bad by any means. They could be better then Sask to maybe ott edm will be in that group. None are notably better then the rest
-
Als are not gonna be a free spot on the bingo any more. The young QBs are improving and could see their best play under khari
-
Yes, but the same ones who didnt notice foketi was MIA for what a week and a half, 2 weeks? Never know, look at kevin durant trying to play hurt. On this team you can only guess how some one is hurt, and how serious it is.
-
To change the rules yes. But the suspension length is at their discretion and they can start coming down harder on intent to injure, and enforce it more strictly. And I think that would be a huge step forward. He sounded mentally broken in that snippet in preseason. Once you become mentally fragile the body will follow.
-
I think the way its been done in the past in extreme cases is two are called and the second is an ejection. If the ref can eject you for a punch or kick I think they should be able to stretch it to intent to injure. Yep and you take a lot less abuse on screens and swing passes rather then running up the gut. I do like powell hes an exceptional runner. I think hes gonna have a strong year, but probably will see his YPC drop and take more hits then ever before. Gonna be a lot of blitzing, run blitzing and stacking the box.
-
Kind of expected. Especially with Neufeld. Yep weve seen it before. Not a fan. Never gets old.
-
Or an injury is more serious then expected. Really interesting considering hes a T, and we have Mcgloster as well.
-
Exact same thing they did to bridge and Bennett. Idk why collaros gets soo much leash with them while others get none.

You could possibly even look at letting the next play run and not stopping the game. Next play runs and it's dirty kick em out any way. Though I think any time a qb is hit like that play is gonna stop long enough to look and see if it's dirty. I kind of feel like the conman center could review every hit on a qb or possibly dirty hits down field too with out disturbing the flow of the game. Instead of another ref on the field but that ref in the command center and have him review that alone.
-
I do feel like adjustments need to be made to rtp. Maybe all rtp plays should be reviewed by the command center and if a hit is deemed malicious the offending player is immediately ejected and suspended pending review for length. I think it'd have to be a finite type of play to qualify, long after the ball leave qbs hand (think Ed philion hitting khari late) and hook sliding on a run. No excuse to hit a qb or any one in that kind of circumstance.

It's a job for people who can't be trusted to flip burgers yet

I can't even believe It. I had big hopes for the raptors this year but couldn't even imagine this. Soo many thin years, such a huge gamble by masai. Go raptors go!

Its amazing to watch any athlete with such an overpowering singular tool. But especially an incredible arm. Probably my favorite of our bad/not good players. I remember him with the argos nearly being sacked in the endzone, but throwing the ball off one leg falling back onto his butt (not a 45 degree angle but close in my memory) and it flying 70ish yards in a perfect spiral. I think he was just trying to throw it away too. Easily the greatest all around athlete ive ever seen play qb. He wasnt the fastest qb by any means, but he was still fleet a foot. (more straight line speed then quicks imo) Phyiscal strength on par with any qb, including the 270-300 lbs biguns that ran through college and pro football a few years back, and could jump like mad. I wonder if Kerry joseph was similar at a younger age. Though he was a better runner and not as insanely strong. (still preternaturally strong for a qb, and athlete of that size.) He lacked most all the refined QB skills and tools. Too much to ever over come and be even a second tier starter in the cfl. But fun to watch. A quicker version of him would be my perfect QB3.

Sad thing is bishop was the best of a bunch of bad back ups forced to start. I think its too easy to point the finger at QBs though. Especially when most played behind awful ols and lacked weapons / systems.

A few of those guys could really lay the lumber.

My first ever job was working in a truck stop kitchen. I couldn't eat at a restaurant for years after. So i started building for a living. Never have that feeling when I see stuff ive built. Were just hungry for the regular season and news we can sink our teeth into.

I do the burger style farmer sausage patties with a sunny side egg up in a toasted burger bun for breakfast every now and then, deadly good. Love farmer sausage.
-
Never got how farmer sausage ended up being called Mennonite sausage. The jokes in this thread are freaking gold though. 🤣 Worse yet, blind optimism.
