yeah aj3 had a great year. Like 700 yards receiving, a monster on returns. Funny enough robert gordon was our top pass catcher that year. Khari loved him as a possesion guy underneath the amazing deep threats, and thinly spread Db.
-
Have some one take him to an all you can eat buffet the morning of the game. We could play a vice cover. or match vice. Have a De pinch under and the db play deep cover. Some one fast like fogg. When the play goes deep have the db switch to match zone under neath and wedge loffler over the top. He isnt gonna run past many guys, but if you cant close the gap by the time the ball gets there hes gonna run over people. But maybe some one like loffler can make him the nail instead of the hammer. Match zone double would give a chance to force turn overs and could make glenn look else where. but its a lot more commitment then I think you wanna put on him. Man to man id counter him with speed, some one who can eat up the cushion and close on the ball. Were not gonna out physical him with a single db, and our bigger lbers are still lighter and lack the coverage skill in all probability.

wasnt it taman had to choose between paying gordon and simon, we paid gordon and simon went to bc? no but we had Milt, simon, gordon, and aj3. Then milt, gordon, bruce, and blink. Crazy days. Ill take the first wr group over any other group in cfl history.

Question about Rod Pederson vs other media

cfl just posted the pics on face book for week 10. Idk whats a worse pick, pedersen going with the riders again. Or jim morris picking calgary to win the montreal winnipeg game. -
waggoner has been very good on teams this year, and moved up the depth chart.
-
we have denmark, then smith and dressler getting healthy. We also have harris who has been heavily under used as a pass catcher in the last few weeks. We havent played half the season yet. We havent seen the nfl cut down day and pr expansion yet. Plenty of time.
-
there has been a good bit of talk since TC that hes a vocal leader type. If its true, hes certainly a good teams guy. I could see us keeping him around in those roles. Assuming he isnt earning premium money, which i doubt he is.
-
Id bring him in if cheap. At worst hes a vet guy with experience that can push the young guys.
-
I think the only way he sticks around is as depth or for teams.
-
theres some truth to that for sure. But imop hardrick played better against tougher pass rushes. With fredrick going to the bench I dont think we are playing the best pieces on the field. Of course he could be banged up or some thing.
-
yeah that and hardrick not taking the spot back with foketi going off is a bit of a head scratcher.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion

I wouldnt mind him at all if we can get him on a decent deal. -
yeah, its kind of like the position the Als used to be in. Playing every game in the ex stadium where even a good crowd was swallowed. I wonder if we could do some thing like having them play before bomber games (like several hours before) and making it a day long tail gate thing. Probably too much hassle and work for the blue. I think the fan support leads to much stronger teams in the long run though.

the power rankings have been kinda awful this year. I try not to notice. Some one needs to start making tinfoil covered watermelon hats, could make a fortune come Banjo bowl.

Perfect size for football in canada out side of university in Quebec yeah. my time in junior came down there. Its great, though i prefer living in central to northern bc. I can never say enough about how great it is out there, but im a manitoban at heart and chances are i wont get back to bc in the next couple years.

The difference is the ncaa teams gave tickets to high schools who brought the kids. Of course putting the tickets in the hands directly of kids or such for free is a bad idea. kamloops broncos play in hillside stadium which is normally 1k, and can be expanded to 1200 or so. And most times attendance for many years was 600-800 including FnF. It can seat 1500-1800, but not for football. And football doesnt pull in that kind of number. It is a beautiful place for football. Now run by former bomber brad yamaoka.

some one should climb up and add that on it was priceless. Or pay for that billboard jordan and all in sask

I wonder if these two moves means some new (to us) NI blood is coming in.
-
wonder if the rudders grab him back? Pretty happy with what we have at ni fb. Im sure he will catch on some place.

If this thread has one valid point in it, its friday cant come soon enough.

Yeah and considering we only have vague ideas of whats reported 3rd party about players contracts with no idea what the cap space is its pretty futile. Im sure our team as several others do, have a good pool saved for nfl cut down time when the PR expands. We arent in bad shape cap/roster wise like mtl and sask. So im not worried. weve got depth at imp and ni which alone means we have the ability to create the cap flexibility if we need. I trust walters, hes done a good job re building NI and over all depth. Bringing in vets, and rookies.

in that case i can only recall the one major change on the OL and thats goossen coming in. who hasnt been quick to pick things up at C so far. Over all last years ol under performed pretty heavily, and it carried into early this year. But big changes on the line especailly take time to gel. As for an all NI ol, the league is such a pass heavy league, i would take the best OL available. Make the ratio work else where if you have to. Ni LB, dl, a wr or two a rb etc. The amount teams run the ball these days having a grinder at rb who blocks and churns out a couple yards vs having the average imp rb doesnt seem like a huge dip. There may not be enough talent at RB league wide for every one to start one and have a back up, but there are enough athletic guys who get moved from qb, or to fb etc To dig up a hand full of guys to plug in. There is such a finite amount of NIs at OL, and its soo important to protect your qb in the cfl I dont totally understand the clinging to an all ni ol. Weve seen more and more ratio breakers start and pop up each year. Id rather go 2 NI DTs or even 3 in a 3-4 front. With how much teams run, with how few running qbs are in the league you could plug in a failed OL ni, or a pure dt ni whose not at the talent level of an imp ol and in theory should be a gain in talent in important areas.

not the same ol, and has had a crazy amount of turn overs from the D with amazing field position. No comparison. And as long as the team continues to win the chances we get to see willy behind this set up is slim.
