  1. Thats a great set up until nuefeld goes down 2 games in >.<
  2. Yeah but tbh i dont put much value in our citys sports reporters pre regular season. Every single one of em is too busy eating donuts talking and playing on their phones to actually notice any thing going on. Waggoner was a saftey in the US, bc was gonna sign him to play it i dont think he has to change any thing. Now if he has what it takes or not is some thing very different. Idk why we are moving any one to LBer though, seems like the strength of our D atm.
  3. one more sleep till mini camp! whoooo! Wouldnt might seeing wagoneer step up and take starting safety.
  4. ready willing and able. I dont understand the ability to just cheer for another team and give up on yours like that. maybe its just me.
  5. and catch the ball. weve had a few guys who got open a lot and dropped none stop. k9 and chris brazzel come to mind.
  6. duper the super negatron. mega negatron. Or cautiously optimistic. Which is how all bomber fans seem to feel right now. Weve got some really good pieces young and old. Camp should be a gooder.
  7. Idk but off the top of my head, milt was listed 6'0 here and 5'11 in the nfl. We had him bobby gordon aj3 then arland bruce with charles roberts catching a ton of passes too.
  8. Looks like a gifted athlete will be fun to see what he can bring to camp. 4.47/41.5"/10'8" 6.65 cone and 4.09 shuttle. On the scouting front, National Football Post's Wes Bunting liked Talley's size at 6'1, his burst, and his ability to separate. Pro Football Weekly said Talley had an "athletic build", "smooth movement" and quickness in and out of his breaks. His 41.5 inch vertical (also reported by Pro Football Weekly) is probably his biggest asset, although both Bunting and PFW weren't thrilled about his hands and tendency to body-catch. Talley can return kicks and punts and provide depth at slot receiver with potential to line up outside. If 2011 third-round pick Jerrel Jernigan doesn't have a good camp, Talley's time with Cruz could continue into the 2012 season and beyond.
  9. I havent seen that, but id take it with a grain of salt. That said, i wouldnt expect he would want to come back for half or less pay and being 3rd or lower on the depth chart. but a man can dream. Whens the last time we had 3 1000 yard wrs?
  10. Many a former great wr not far removed from being very productive has retired as a FA from lack of interest. I wonder if hes holding out for too much money? Id still love to bring him in on a cheaper deal for a 3rd wide out.
  11. Any team with need of a starting canadian. Also, any one who signs henoc would be in a good spot with him backing up. Bc had waggoner neg listed as an imp and was about to sign him but didnt spend the pick on him.
  12. Pretty interesting prospect. but yeah i would be surprised if he fell to us. Though we dont have a need at lber. if we did there would have been a much bigger out cry to pay henoc crazy money.
  13. Crazy odds. though i imagine that includes d2 and below, juco etc. If your playing at that level a pro football career is a crazy hail mary. That also doesnt include cfl afl etc. Though afl isnt much of a living short of 2 or 3 guys. Ill have to check out that story about AC, ive never heard about his background but i know a few cfl guys have had some insane stories.
  14. Thats also a very good point. perhaps the reason a lot of guys live and breath football is its their only chance. We all know stories of star cfl players who were doing menial jobs and struggling mightily before signing a cfl contract. guys coming from the AFL living off of peanut butter sandwiches to ricky ray driving a delivery truck.
  15. Smith looks like a toolsy big body project type. Read on a chargers scout report that he clocked 4.46 40 but doesnt play as fast. But that hes stronger then his weight and is at his best in short-intermediate possession type plays. Allways worth taking a chance on a big guy with tools. Pinkard looks like a guy alot of people had as a strong diamond in the rough late draft kind of guy until some off field issues at the end of his college career. Looks like an a well rounded guy. Good speed vert hands route running nothing great but a real wr and a real good frame for the cfl. Both these guys should be interesting to watch in camp. The wr crop has lots of talented and interesting prospects. Definitely position to watch imop for camp.
  16. could be good as a db coach xD
  17. cfl cant afford that. id take it in baseball hands down.
  18. xD yeah, never know though. I dont doubt richards injuries. I hope he can stay healthy and show some thing this year.
  19. If we could have challenged a none call pass interference on milt alone back in the early 2000s we would have won like 4-5 more games. Yeah idr the rule changes either. I wouldnt mind going a couple years with out a huge rule change.
  20. I think its become a none decision for a lot of luke warm guys. The main stay of guys live and breathe football, and or dream of the nfl would chase that dream through the business end of a mack truck for a chance.
  21. STs regulars and rotational players in the offense. Maybe less for richards since he was banged up soo often in his rookie year.
  22. if you dont want instant replay you must not remember the horrid refing of the early 2000s and prior very well. Replay is good, in a game of inches its important to get calls right. If anything put the XPA back to normal rules. Any one got a list of the new rules?
  23. should tell that to charles roberts keith stocks arland bruce gizmo williams and about 100 other under 5'9 play makers in cfl history. to be 5'8 and stick in the nfl as long as he did, and actually play on a regular basis says alot. Dude runs through soo many tackles in that college clip. Runs like hes 6'4 245 xD
  24. http://www.nfl.com/player/jerreljernigan/2495179/careerstats 21 kick returns for 492 yard 23.4 average. 4.46 40, 37.5" vert, 11 reps. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/jerrel-jernigan?id=2495179 Lots of talk of him being a play making slot receiver. Despite his 5'8 height. Real interesting pick up cant wait to see him in camp. replacement for the wr prospect who just retired maybe.
