The O is very interesting. Weve added soo much in terms of weapons and QB depth. Bond was a monster though. Either our offense is gonna flourish to new heights or bond should have been an mop candidate.
-
he gone. Dana reported that a warrant has been issued for mcgs arrest. I feel like its as much about him being stripped again. Showing up dana is a bad move. Imagine the shift in pro mma if dana and mcg have a permanent falling out and he goes to bellator for serious money. Its about time they seriously stopped all the childish crap that goes on in the lead up to a fight. It was only a mater of time till things really escalated again.

0: Ra dickeys son is canadian? thats pretty neat. even though i loathe that RA dickey deal soo much. hes a tricky dickey.

Better more diverse group of weapons on offense. Worlds better at the back up qb position. On O the only loss is bond. Thats gonna be big. Should be better on offense though. On D the dumping of hurl, going with the best DL group from last year while maintaining strong depth with death roe. I like what we have started with the dbs, and ill take fenner over heath. Personal wise, we should be slightly better on both sides of the ball. With the potential to be a lot better on offense if we fill bonds spot well. More aggressive play calling/coverage and use full blitz packages with no hurl and we have potential to be a lot better on D too. If medlock plays more like his first year here rather then last year as well. All that plus another year of continuity and chemistry. The question is how much better will be with respect to how the rest of the league is improving.

its a good year for us jays fans... the watch some minor league ball. /waits

foreman sounds like our prototypical db. a fogg clone. Speed to burn, made a bunch of plays but has some questions. lot of pass KDs, love seeing that.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
wbbfan replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Speed and tburgess nailed it pretty well. people hate prevent defense. playing give up defense near the end of games to try and win is brutal. If they over hauled the games abit to make them less gimmicky offensive mashings, and focused on second tier cities and lower I bet theyd do a whole lot better. -
Brain ortega came out and said he offered to fight khabib on short notice. Damn I wish they had gone with that instead of holloway.

mhm. very much the situation i could see. itll be interesting to see.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
wbbfan replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This is in part a good point. I think it needs to be clarified that its the NFL that is declining. Its of course not in any danger. But i feel the ncaa and hs levels are steady as she goes. A start up league could have a better chance now then ever at carving out a living as a sub nfl level league. The nfl has lost market share, that means more is available. That said the chances of actually capitalizing on that is exceedingly slim. The NFL is a financial institute. Its monetary entertainment. The room for growth is in cultural institutes like the CFL. The amount of CFL you can sell to americans with out a team is pretty limited though. If they brought back some thing like the USFL, and planted it in smaller US markets that dont have a chance at a NFL franchise they could build some thing. But getting the money, and tv deals with that is very hard. two fledgling start up leagues also pretty much ensures they will fail. UFC on fox isnt a good measuring stick, especially last year. The ufc has done a worse and worse job of putting decent shows on for ufc on fox. The last year and a half has been worse yet compounded by the amount of money fights, championship/star turn over, and scandal. Soccer is here to stay, and gigantic with kids. But I think youd have a better chance of opening up two successful nfl alternative pro football leagues in the us then of getting soccer into the top 4 pro sports in the us. -
Maybe. I could see him being an assistant to hall though.

Yeah doesnt seem like its a joke... i keep hoping it is. Brett Okamoto ✔@bokamotoESPN I'm told the injury to Tony Ferguson was literally caused by a trip. The freak accident of all freak accidents. He was walking, saw someone he wasn't expecting to see, veered sharply to say hello and tripped. .......

Imo unless you have a system changing ratio breaker at another position OL is the way to go for a team like mtl. Best case scenario, trade down for multiple picks. But its mtl. They are in full on joe mack mode, do what ever they want.

On pure guessing power I would suspect they are either hurt, or NI paper work problems and possible supp draft guys. Or they arent interesting in pursuing football. Loiselle looks to have had another injury riddled year. Still 28 tackles 6.5 tfl. He was on the the combine list, but didnt seem to be in attendance. He did attend his teams pro day however. https://www.wagnerathletics.com/news/2018/3/28/football-wagner-pro-day-recap.aspx http://3downnation.com/2018/03/01/cfl-releases-national-combine-list/ https://www.wagnerathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=8707 See in the pro day stuff that they are saying loiselle will be in attendance at the cfl combine and is a top prospect here, but it was two days after the combine ended up here. Maybe they didnt understand when it was? Also saw some thing about him being in their finance department at wagner in cryptocurency. It looks like brayden lenius left the program to transfer, didnt seem to get a lot of usage in 17.

I think simonise will go before the end of the 2nd round, but 5th seems high.

The anthony joshua fight was a real disappointment. its a slap in the face to mma how much money the bald one is offering him to box vs how much some champs make in the ufc. Floyd seems more and more serious about mma, its going to be interesting to see who he fights. We are one week out from ufc 223. So far so good, no injury pull out yet. I just want to see mcg fight the winner of khabib vs ferguson. (my money is on khabib) hope this is trolling. i forgot it was april 1st when i first heard this...

Yeah they cut out soo much of the set up, and parzival beating gates finding the first gate it softened things up a bit. Oh a portal opened up one day and we have a race now. A lot of the 80s type references in games moves music etc took a hit. Which is surprising because thats soo in fashion these days. I can get shifting some of his story around to other characters, and to making them more of a group though. over seas is always the big money in movies. Spielberg is pretty much a licence to print money any way.

wasnt ali g / borat et al connecting to playing freddy mercury? iirc queen wanted it to be a movie about queen and not a biopic of freddy mercury and kept blocking the films from being made. Watch ready player one last night. As an avid fan of the book, and despite being anal as all hell i very much enjoyed it. They stray from the path a considerable amount with the movie. Mostly with the games, specific references, and one or two sub plots. But If I still enjoyed it (and i very much did) none book fans and none anal people are probably loving it. More teen and older version of wreck it ralph.

In general im not a fan of re boots, re treads etc. And i think TKK would have been better if it was a one off movie instead of a series. But some thing about this spin off keeps pulling me back. Ill have to check out atleast the first episode. Im sure you could use a VPN and sign into YT as a yank to get red. But yeah streaming boxes, smart tvs, and streaming sites are soo far out in front its un real. Its been some thing like 7 years since i cut cable and even at the same price as before I wouldnt go back. I watch soo much less junk (especially in the form of commercials) and with out scheduling constraints I could never go back.

Retains for now... New mutants has potential. They should let the rest die skip dark phoenix and use it to jump in a new direction. A less crappy one. Saw about half the trailer for daphne and velma, a scooby doo prequel some how also set in near future. And i feel like i need a shower. Like kissed a rider fan dirty. gross.

Thats a good point too. A lot of guys listed sizes are skewed by just being listed as what the request, or what they came in at when they first came into the league. The bombers seem to post their charts based on guys weigh ins at camp. which is several notches above most teams. Even that though isnt near perfect.

That in it self no. that said 5 lbs of lean mass is a **** ton on a refined athletes body. For a trim athlete who already has a matured build and limited frame (the type of guy whose a tweener up here db-lb, db, wr and most rbs) with out juice to add 5 pounds of muscle with out hindering performance would be time consuming. But thats assuming a close to athletically maxed out build, etc. Some guys could gain that in no time. some guys itd take a year and a half to do so. Does 5 lbs of muscle make that big a difference? Against OL you are already out soo much weight not really. Against other rbs it can. If you are 5lbs of lean mass under the weight of the rbs you face youll notice it. Same if you are 5 lbs over. If you have the work ethic and or football IQ like Mos, unless that other guy can match you those 5lbs mean a whole lot less. Its kind of a whole lot of nothing right now, just speculation. He looks like a wil though. But he could have the flexibility to play a few positions. Its like the loffler to wil talks etc. Personally I think corney is more then fast/quick enough to cut it at mlb. Especially if he went back down to his drafted weight. Though I could just as easily see him coming in even bigger this year and moving to DT. Consider the jumps in power ranges in combat sports. the jump from 155-171 is gigantic. thats 16 lbs obviously, but you get the point. Milt wasnt the tallest or heaviest (or even the fastest) wr of his era. He was the most refined athlete though. Far more athletes have that physical level of refinement today then back then. Match him up against a similar quality db and knock 5lbs off him to bring him down to a more human level of athlete and it becomes much harder for him.
-
yeah that sounds about right. The larger mlber is kinda of old school now. It really depends on the athlete. Its probably possible to get it done down in the 210 range, and up in the 250+ range. Though both would be harder. But if you are strong/fast enough it could work. The nfl has and has had some exceptional freak athletes who are small and ridiculously strong and big + crazy fast. In a best case scenario, when you notice them. Its when you dont notice them because theyve been swallowed up by a lineman or blocking back, or been run over by a large back like messam. An end, wil and mac in the cfl has to be strong and tough enough to survive the lumps they will take when they end up 1 on 1 with a OL. I dont think the league they play in in college is as big a deal as some. Big sec type schools do have better over all talent / athletes. But that goes both ways. You play with better and have more covered up. Because while the level is higher, its still a lot of raw guys who are either talented or athletic. Not a ton of guys who are both. I also dont think the big schools style of play synchronizes as well with up here. If he has what it takes to cut it up here, we will see soon enough. If he doesnt, it wont matter what position he plays. And if he does, he will work his way into a niche. Hes gonna be interesting to watch and see how he pans out.
-
Its true heart can over come size in football, with in reason. Mlber is a heart and systems position. Sherrit is certainly an exception but you dont have to be 250 or even 240 to play mlber.

Yeah pretty much. Hes still young and I hope he figures it out. I look at kozachuk (his hair) and think yeah he fits the bomber mold. I mean who else do we have to rock some awesome locks???
