  1. Am I the only millennial cord-cutter here? CJOB is an absolute lifeline for away games for me. Irving and Brown I find make a good team, Irving always has insightful dialogue, but I find Brown finds a way to make it more personable as with most of the situations, he's been there as a player.
  2. I think Denmark's stretch of red-zone awesomeness was a direct result of Dressler being injured or struggling... below are the games that Denmark caught a TD pass in, as well as Dressler's receiving #'s for that same game: Game (TDs for Denmark) --- Dressler's #'s that game Jul-21 Vs. B.C. Lions (1) --- 2 catches for 9 yards Jul-27 - Vs. Montreal (1) --- 2 catches for 24 yards Aug-12 Vs. Hamilton (1) --- Dressler registered no catches Aug-24 Vs. Montreal (2) ---Dressler registered no catches Sep-9 Vs. 'Riders (2) ---3 catches for 56 yards
  3. I am literally quoting you just because you told me not to.
  4. If we hired Buono, would this be your reasoning to fire him immediately as well?
  5. If he wants to use his own, private funds to have his own giant tire fire of a franchise, it is his right as a private owner to do so. That's how capitalism works.
  6. What? Public ownership or private ownership - mismanagement is mismanagement. There are plenty of privately owned and publicly owned entities that have let things slip through their hands and people have (justifiably or not) lost jobs as a result of it.
  7. I think for Reilly people are forgetting that it isn't just about getting to him, you have to actually wrap him up. He's arguably the hardest QB to take down in the league and there's definitely been times where a DE has him dead to rights and he has somehow escaped.
  8. They're trying to sell tickets to the game Sunday, not scare people away.
  9. That's pretty rich coming from a franchise that has 4 Grey Cups in over a century... if the East is pathetic I'm glad you dolts crossed over this year... you deserve to be there!
  10. Well, I wasn't the one who said the Esks wouldn't run it much, but I will own up to the fact that I did say I'd prefer to see the Esks than the 'Riders (using the logic the 'Riders were the better team). Boy did I learn my lesson: When in doubt... Riders' suck.
  11. I guess even the league's best fans know when to beat the traffic.
  12. But then how will I procrastinate? Seriously though it's good stuff.
  13. Sure, but the 'Riders have a tonne of former Bombers that would love to stick it to us on our home turf. Muamba, Marshall, Jovon Johnson .... Kevin Glenn. Also if the snow and cold weather sticks around, the passing game will likely be less important for both sides. I guess gentleman's agreement to agree to disagree.
  14. Obligatory harrumph of discontent on behalf of the private sector.
  15. Contrary to popular misconceptions, when Remembrance Day falls on a weekend (Saturday this year) it is not observed on the following Monday (unlike say, Canada Day) as it is not a statutory holiday. Most people will not get the Monday off. Sorry to be a debbie downer but most people are probably going to figure this out in the upcoming week anyways. That said, I plan on coming into work on the Monday without a voice from being so loud at the game on Sunday.
  16. I think Edmonton is the easier match up for us, but I think the Riders are hot now and are the realistic opponent. I think the Bombers can beat either team, especially if our D shows up as they did last night.
  17. Anytime your defense forces more turnovers (7) than points they surrender (5) - you're doing something right.
  18. Good thing we're starting a QB with a Touchdowns-Interceptions ratio of 11-14 (0.79). Fun (but somewhat expected) fact of the day: LeFevour has more career rushing touchdowns (17) than he has passing touchdowns(11).
  19. Hey man, that's a low blow. No drunk person or individual on welfare deserves to be compared to the lowly 'Riders... show some class.
  20. Protip: Most stadiums let you bring in sleeping bags.
  21. Yeah, I could see that as being a little out of line. Still just ticked they're starting LeFevour over Davis... shouldn't even be joking about more injuries based on what has happened to our team the last few weeks.... so to your comment I say touché, good sir.
  22. This bodes well for the Blue & Gold.
  23. I don't think Lefevour could afford to pay for 46 tickets to the game on his salary...
  24. Maybe if we're lucky, lame-duck LeFevour will throw of his patented suicide passes to Lankford and Washington... then we can airlift in some better receivers?
