Trevor Harris currently in the process of forging unvaccinated documents so he can avoid the trip to WPG.
-
Of course it is different, every other team sucks lol

Two entirely different conversations... One guy on the DNP list may be a long term project... The Stamps are dealing with several starters unable to play in the playoffs... Which is a much bigger problem for them. End of the day though... All of the above should get vaccinated... It is just the responsible thing to do.

Playoff possibilities - Week 15
Eternal optimist replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Nope. BC can (mathematically) make the postseason in the West - they are currently 4-7, and running the table would allow a 7-7 finish. That, combined with Calgary going 0-2 (finishing 6-8) would allow them to leapfrog them. Not saying it will happen, just saying that, mathematically speaking, it is a possibility. In other obscure playoff possibilities, BC, SSK and CAL could all (hypothetically) finish the season 7-7 invoking the CFL's wacky tiebreaker rule with 2+ teams. That said, it is extremely unlikely as ALL of the following would have to happen: - SSK goes 0-3 - CAL goes 0-2 - BC goes 3-0 -

Well it's either that, or we develop a few games a week that require three teams to play... or one team to play. -
Fun fact: The most lopsided American College Football score in history was 222 - 0. The winning team was led by John Heisman (yes, the one the trophy is named after). He did so as a retaliatory act as the Cumberland College had earlier beaten up on the Georgia Tech's baseball team. Cumberland made no pass attempts, and had 27 rush attempts for -42 yards. They also lost 9 fumbles throughout the game.

I think people trying to oust the 1 year contract rule are failing to realize most players dream of playing in the NFL... Not the CFL. If players were required to be locked in to a CFL contract at a cheaper rate, it just reduces our talent pool of Americans further. -

Personally I always thought kids playing football on the field at halftime was family friendly and entertaining. Fans have a blast and so do the kids. -

If I am commissioner my first order of business is setting forth a motion to triple my own salary -

Nah, instead make it -1 point if a FG goes off the upright and fails to go through lol. RE: Saturday playoff games...I wholeheartedly agree withthose comments. Sunday games like that suck -

Non Bombers you enjoyed watching( present or past)

To me, one of the signs of a great teammate is when a guy can move on to another team, and still manage to be an integral part and lead them to the promised land. Always thought he'd have looked good in Blue & Gold, though given our history of misusing deep threat receivers, probably was best that it never happened. -

In terms of talent, gotta say Calvillo and SJ Green. They burnt us alot but I respect what they did in their tenure -

Whoever was the 13th man on the field in the 2009 Grey Cup will always have a special place in my heart. -
Friendly reminder to anyone ripping on the house bands we have at halftime... the halftime show for our game against the Edmonton Elks was Hanson.
-
I dont know why but this sounds like the basis for a really bad knock off NES or SNES game.
-
Okay, so the Riders were founded in 1910 that means if they don't win another Grey Cup by 2026, they will average one Grey Cup every (116 years / 4 Grey Cups) = 29 years. Meaning they would average our longest Grey Cup drought for each championship they have ever won. In contrast, for the Bombers to achieve this average years per Championship, we would have to not win another Grey Cup from now until 2249

I am not saying I think they'll do it, I am just saying that, mathematically speaking, they are still very much so on the running.

Playoff possibilities - Week 15
Eternal optimist replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Their 4 games remaining are away at TOR and EDM. And hosting BC and SSK. All of those teams still have something to play for, even EDM. Not impossible but yeah, unlikely. Thankfully, they play EDM this week... Before they are eliminated from playoff contention. -

Hope HAM is the odd team out and gets eliminated by virtue of the cross-over once the dust settles. Thought of facing a hometown team in the Grey Cup is terrifying -
They would be lucky to make the playoffs at this point. They have lost their season series with SSK, are trailing the Elks 1-0. Their matchup against CAL is huge though ...as that series is tied 1-1, though CAL blew them out in the 2nd game 39-10. Interestingly enough though, with 4 games left, they still control their own destiny and will make the playoffs if they go 4-0 down the stretch. That said, they are in tough, they have games in TOR and HAM, with their final two home games being against CAL and EDM respectively.

I find it much better to cheer for long-term, sustained mediocrity. If they got through to the West Semi-Final, maybe CoFaj and the coaching staff get another year. Mathematically speaking they have to win at least SOME games.
-
I dont want any of our players to be top performers. I want them to be the exact opposite of Brandon 'Speedy Me' Banks and play as a cohesive unit.
-
Really hope the 'Riders make it to the West Final... 1) Great rivalry game 2) Best matchup for us as a team 3) Rider fans paying the WFC to come watch their team get spanked is such a typical Rider thing to do.

Going through these old thread quotes hoping my dumbass isn't mentioned.
