Delete This is the site I always use - he runs simulations based upon weighted (team record) percentages. However you can also change it to 50/50 (coin flip) chance for each team. He then summarizes all of his results, and provides a breakdown of the teams' seeding level at a high level based upon probability outcomes for each team respectively. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/football/Canada/CFL/Winnipeg.html TLDR; If we go 3-2 or better, we clinch the West without any help. 2 wins in any combination gives us a 96% chance to host the Western Final. Even if we go 0-5 the rest of the way, it is still possible for us to host the Western Final.

We only beat CAL by 2 by the grace of god for a procedure penalty at home. By no means are they world beaters, but they are definitely the best of the rest right now. Also, they've got the stability and coaching staff to make some noise late in the year.

Not so fun fact: Upon its release, Aladdin received criticism for its portrayal of characters in the film with arab ethnicity and their overexaggerated facial features. In other news, Mourtada still sucks.
-
Well if it ends the same way I will setup a GoFundMe for pitchforks and torches. Just add angry mob!

Imho kicker is 3rd most important position in CFL. Behind QB and blindside tackle. Its like in hockey.. A good kicker can steal you some games. A bad one you might be able to get by... But its hard to cover it up

I was actually referring to punting for a rouge vs. A field goal. I am unsure what his PAT % is, but if it is less fhan 50% yes we should go for two every time, mathematically speaking.
-
Food for thought. Mourtada is 4/10 (40%) this year. We are getting dangerously close to being mathematically better off punting for the rouge on terms of expected value. This assumes he can hit the end zone 100% of the time, which to be honest not sure if that is a safe assumption at this point. Ali Mourtada for mayor of Winnipeg. Someone that incompetent should be a high ranking government official!

We are due to lose a game on kicking. The thing that worries me alot is with the Grey Cup and playoffs being so late in the year, kicking will be even more important at that time.

3 stars + HH Defense goes elk hunting
Eternal optimist replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
HH to Rasheed Bailey - Dude really stepped up in Lawler's absence I felt. -
Gotta play as a team.

And so concludes the first and last time I try to decipher the transaction page. You guys just tell me what to be mad about from this point on.
-
Per CFL transactions page as of yesterday, October 6, 2021: - Released Donovan Olumba (DB) - Released Robbie Lowes (LB) - Also, can confirm Nakas Onyeka (LB) was released Oct-04-2021 Sources: https://www.cfl.ca/transactions/ https://www.bluebombers.com/roster/

OTT at TOR "How 'bout...we field A team that only scores on Special teams?" LaPo

I would think they'd want to give a newer, younger guy a shot. Roosevelt is 33. His last +1000 yard season was 2017. I would think they'd want to give a newer, younger guy a shot. Roosevelt is 33. His last +1000 yard season was 2017.

Caleb Evans for defensive player of the week! Dude forced three turnovers!
-
McKnight in is the safe, logical play. In a perfect world, Roosevelt plays and goes off, then we trade him back to Saskatchewan and he disappears again lol

https://www.goelks.com/injury-report/ Well, if nothing else, looks like the Elks are healthy coming into Friday's game.

Leonard's 3 games was for 2 separate offenses... He received a 2 game suspension for failing to provide a urine sample, then an additional game for verbal abuse/unacceptable behaviour towards the drug officials. His 2 game suspension was in accordance with the CFL's drug testing policy for a 1st time offense, which can be found here: https://www.cfl.ca/2015/05/05/cfl-drug-policy-glance/ A better comparison is how the Riders handled the debacle of Charleston Hughes' DUI ... Which he wasn't even suspended for (he was fined an undisclosed amount, and scratched the first game after news broke)
-
Dude you forgot one of the weirdest things... We surrendered 21 points unanswered to MTL and choked the game away.... And clinched a playoff berth doing so.
-
Neither really flashy guys, but Ellingson and Cahoon always seemed to make plays when they had to.
-
Alright that is a fair point.
-
I'm just saying, all else being equal, an employee with substance abuse issues is more problematic than one without. To clarify, I hope Lawler gets the help he needs, and does move on from this.
-
I mean, silver lining to this is if Lawler does move past it, it could hamper his opportunities south of the border... Meaning he'd be more likely to stay with us longer term and for cheaper than if he was 100% clean.

Dont know if this is the place to post this... Personally, if I am out and plan on drinking, I will have a DD, or take a cab. Whomever drives is blind stinking sober. I dont even want "alcohol may have been a factor" in the news article if something was to happen...

I would also like for Saskatchewan to wallow in mediocrity for as long as possible. They'll definitely go places with CoFaj.
