Favorite non-Bomber? Well, can't say anyone in particular, but any big-name signing, draft bust, or otherwise under-performing player ever signed by the Riders. I know that doesn't narrow the list down a whole lot...may their organizational ineptitude continue to be limitless.

I would say no, even though he was crazy talented, he was supremely lazy and conceited. He would never throw blocks for other players and always had a "me first" mentality. He played for four different colleges and five different professional teams across two leagues in 10 years. I would like to think the Bombers would be able to reign him in... but being academically ineligible during his Ohio State days, drug suspensions with the Riders, overzealous TD celebrations (causing more suspensions)... so much potential just wasted, mostly due to lack of applying himself. At some point you've got to look at yourself in the mirror...

You are thinking of Rob Pikula. Pikula went 10/16 (62.5%) that year, Fleming replaced Westwood for punting with an average of 43.7 yards/kick. Both players were only marginally better than Westwood during his funk (Westwood's #'s were 20/33 (60.6%) for FG's and punting average of 56.7 yards/kick). Since Westwood was a Canadian and could handle both duties, I would argue he was the better fit.. Westwood also kicked the game-winning field-goal in the Eastern Semi-Final that year that sent Winnipeg to Toronto, where Glenn would unfortunately break his arm. It was a 20-yard chip shot mind you, but he did so while ailing from a hamstring injury. As for being a team guy, I'll concede on that point, he always added to any circus going on off the field. That said, in '07, Westwood was 18 years into his career and got benched after one bad game. Not only that, the guy who replaced him (Pikula) struggled immediately, going 1/2 in his first game.

Yeah, the 2001 Grey Cup stings sure, but my absolute least favorite player, ever? People are forgetting some of the good things he did: 1. He referred to Regina's faithful as "a bunch of banjo-pickin' inbreds", and followed it up by 'apologizing' with "... the vast majority of people in Saskatchewan have no idea how to play the Banjo", you could argue he basically invented the Banjo Bowl, which is awesome. Also this is still funny to me today. 2. He's #6 on all-time playoff scorers as of the 2017 record book (this is the most recent available on CFL's site). 3. He played his entire CFL career with Winnipeg, and stayed here, he was also born in Manitoba (Dauphin). Would you honestly say you hate him more than the litany of terrible kickers our team fielded after him? Alexis Serna, Justin Palardy? DeAngelis? Between his last full year (2007) and now, the Bombers realistically had two stints of good kicking: (1) Hajrullahu's phenomenal rookie year and (2) The current Medlock era. Is he gonna have a statue outside IGF anytime soon? Nope...but worst ever? Don't know about that...

Favorite: Kenny Ploen - As a kid growing up without seeing the Bombers win a Grey Cup and looking back and seeing this guy had won four just made him mythical to me. Had a chance to meet him and he's a cool guy too. Humble, and just a great dude. Least favorite: I find this a lot tougher actually, I guess I would have to say Nic Grigsby, only because he was such a flash in the pan that talked way too much. Couldn't walk the walk, and definitely was not a team player. The fact he was on some of the worst Bomber teams ever doesn't help.

Personally, I have always shown my utmost appreciation to the opposing quarterbacks, receivers and running backs that turn the ball over at Investor's Group Field. I make sure to give them a warm round of applause on their way back to the bench every time!

Man, that reminds me of that stellar home opener (O'Shea's first game as head coach) when they absolutely mopped the walloped the Argos (who had Ray). Well, not really a training camp memory; but preseason at least... 2018 season, Bombers hosted Edmonton for our home preseason game, then also played against them in our home opener two weeks later. Anyways...during the preseason game two Edmonton players were talking trash to a fan behind us. This fan sometimes just roasts players, quick-witted he said to them (and I quote) "I'll bet you $20 CANADIAN that neither of you make it to the home opener"... sure enough, two weeks later, Edmonton team is introduced and both of them had made the team (and had remembered the bet). One of the players came out doing the Johnny Manziel money thing... Fan was a good guy though... paid them both their $20.

I agree he should be given a fair chance, it is laughable to think it is anything above a PR stunt though. Reminds me of that time Riders brought in Vince Young in training camp well past his prime lol.

My favorite part of both of their games is the selflessness of providing blocks to receivers or whomever as necessary. Hard to come by gritty receivers that do that. Adams does it away from the ball well as well.

Maybe, maybe not. Point is, we won't know for sure unless you give her (or any other candidate applying for that matter) a fair shot. Assuming she'll be poor at it just because she is a female on the basis that historically there have no female play-by-play announcers is just confirmation bias of a sexist and dated perspective. If she's going to lose out on a job, it should be because of better candidates, not because of her gender or preconceived notions of it.

Okay, I'm by no means a lawyer... but under applicable medical privacy laws, would an employer be allowed to disclose that certain politicians (i.e. employees) have a given medical condition? How does that work? I mean, if my Saskatchewan coworker had a medical tooth condition that is somehow contagious, my employer can't tell me anything about it, citing medical confidentiality, but at the same time, they are required to offer safe work. That's just about the only thing I can think of where this inaction could be considered reasonable by some. I would argue though that even if that were they case they could've just indicated "some staff members" were infected, which I would think is nondescript enough to get around that rule...

Trump's impact on the economy has been positive... but for all the wrong reasons, the stock market boomed when he got elected not because of investor confidence in his abilities to steer the American economy, but because most investors knew corporate tax cuts were part of his platform, they knew large American corporations would pay even less corporate tax than they previously were before he was elected. On top of all that, arguably the most archaic issue in the states - a lack of a national healthcare system - continues to dog the average, everyday wage earner, and remains completely unaddressed. Although median wages have increased, so has the number of Americans with absolutely no health insurance at all. Although less individuals are using social welfare programs (like food stamps) - Trump has persistently talked about cutting aid to these programs... of course usage is going to go down if you cut a program, that's like saying (as an example): "Hey, the number of youth offenders in Manitoba Liquor Marts is 0 now! Boy the police are doing a good job with that!" ... In this instance, we're giving credit to police for something they aren't even responsible for (youths in liquor marts, security guards deal with that).
