Just listened to Maurices presser says both Stafford and Lowry are day to day hopeful for Monday's game

Staff left the Nashville game but came back hopefully nothing serious , Lowry took pregame skate and then was scratched.

Kinda reminded me of the way the Jets played on the road last year, Good effort by everybody , team win lots of hustle played with a purpose.

Redemption for wheeler talk the talk makes it happen, last year fans from other teams would call us dirty, but tonight i say some things that were blatant attempts to injure. Hits on Ladd and Lowry come to mind. I don't like players like Neal who plays a real cheap game gets challenged and skates away.

I get what you are saying and i agree for the most part but it is the NHL and the better players Buff included fair or not need to bring it every night, sure you'll make a mistake here or there but he just seems to make them game to game, then come up with a game like tonight.

Wheeler is not calling out depth guys, his message is loud and clear and pointed directly at Buff and Ladd. These two have probably been told through there agents that the Jets will not be offering big money contracts and will be traded by the deadline. In Ladds case he should fire his agent if there is any truth of what the Jets were offering him in the summer.

That Dustin Brown contract is gonna hurt for a long time half a season and has 14 points in 42 games.

I've heard a lot of different numbers as it pertains to Buff and not one term and dollars has made me say lets sign him. If he played with the passion and heart of a guy like Wheeler and with his talent he would be worth every penny of what he is asking for, but he doesn't . This team is no closer to competing for a playoff spot every year is they resign him and i think Chevy knows this.

Make no mistake about it the Canadian Dollar is going to be a big factor for all Canadian teams , if it goes any lower i can see the salary cap staying where it is. If Chevy wants to trade Ladd and Buff being in a playoff spot will kills this plan, can't get rid of two players that have gotten you this far. So they miss the playoffs or get knock out in the first round again what do you have to show for it. You got two free agents that he doesn't want to give big money or long term to and they walk as free agents, sounds familiar. Missing the playoffs will be sad but in the long run it will help this team in the future.

Think Chevy has made up his mind about this team, knows it's not good enough, will let things play out, deal players at the deadline and collect a top 3 pick a the draft.

The problem for the Chargers is the Rams would run the new stadium and they would just be tenants. Probably better for the Chargers to try once again and work something out with the San Diego for a new facility .

Giving Ladd a contract worth 36 million would be a bad contract in the long term so would giving Buff a contract of 56 million. The dollar continues to drop and revenue will take a hit this year. Bill Daly just said that the Canadian teams portion of revenue sharing is tied to the dollar so i can't see the cap going up significantly. Ladd won't see big free agent dollars considering the year he is having Buff might ,if the Jets still have slightly lower offers on the table they should seriously consider signing.

Elite players are not going to come here via free agency or trade so the only real option is to get a top 3 pick and hope he blossoms into a superstar. This upcoming draft weakens out early so a top 3 pick is essential, trading Buff and Ladd should help us get there.Not a playoff contender winning one losing two. Todays game proves that while we have some good players we have no finishers and unfortunately it looks like Buffalo has a younger and better core, we have a long way to go.

They need more players that will drive to the blue paint, instead what we have is a lot of perimeter play, cute stick handling and shots with no one in front of the net, but what really bothers me is the passing on this team. The passes are either in the skates or on the wrong side of where they should be which slows plays from taking shape, really is evident on the pp.
