  1. Bitter right to the very end, only FG attempts, really sad
  2. Don't like him 3 on 3 either if he does resign with us i can see him as a 2nd or 3rd line player in the coming years.
  3. Played the 3rd period with 5 d Buff was killer tonight just did whatever he wanted to do, Hutch had a good game, shootout bad, Toby very steady, Little just no finish tonight, Ehlers tried to bank one off the goaltender from behind the line, need to change up the guys on the shootout except Wheeler.
  4. 5/8 points 4 game road trip 2 back to back, folks that's a real good road trip.
  5. Jets don't have a lot of success against the Senators, just one of those things, even tougher game being b2b.
  6. Make no mistake the Jets are big team and when they play a physical game like they did tonight it takes a toll on the opposition.
  7. Beating the Leafs no matter how bad they are just makes the Jets season for me, just can't stand the amount of coverage a team that has been so bad for so long gets.
  8. Hard to say. If that ends up being the case, then what do Hamilton and Ottawa do to when they want to host? Even if you added temp seating to THF or TD Place, it would be hard for them to crack anywhere near 35,000. Don't forget that there is a movement to make Skydome (Rogers Centre) a baseball only venue which means no football, so any future Grey Cups in Toronto would have to be played at BMO field.
  9. Before they do anything in terms of expansion they have a trouble spots that they have to look at. Arizona is playing the if you build us an new arena game for the second time, people can't possibly be that stupid in the Phoenix area. Carolina has major problems, Islanders have moved into a basketball arena because they played chicken and lost, Florida only draws oppositions fans and not that many to boot, the Devils also have serious problems, and now Columbus with there losing are having big sections of there arena bare. Expansion might have to wait.
  10. They won't make the money they thought that they would and that's going t hurt the bottom line. This team will be going hat in hand to the provincial government in the coming years if things don't change.
  11. Did he do it, nobody except the people involved know for sure but i would be shocked if money didn't change hands.
  12. These guys are a complete joke and the city of Glendale are a fools for having this charade go on for so long. They have a .500 team at the moment with some young and exciting players and still can't fill the building with some of the cheapest tickets in the NHL.
  13. Yes thanks KC for beating the Mets being a Yankees fan i couldn't bare it if the Mets would of won the World Series
  14. This hearing should be a non issue especially since Gallagher hopped right up and got into the mix up, missed no time on the ice because frankly he didn't get hit in the head by a phantom elbow. Is it Buff's fault that he is almost a foot taller.
  15. Let's just be clear: CANADIENS......not Canadians. Very big distinction in my mind....... Sorry spell check and you quite right
  16. The Canadians and there fans are some of the biggest whiners in all of pro sports.
  17. Tonight was just one of those games lets just forget about it and move on to Toronto. Copp should be good to go but i can see Maurice maybe playing with his line a bit
  18. Not exactly more like team struggling
  19. Think Petan will be sent down to the Moose when Raffl is ready to come up after his injury.
  20. Ideally that's what they would do. How was Joe Mack hired? There's a long history of the BOD doing a lot more than hiring the CEO and staying out of the way. I guess people don't remember Asper on the sidelines making an ass out of himself years ago
  21. Think attendance will be a huge issue in the years to come.
  22. Estrada is also a free agent so you better get him signed before you start to set up your rotation. By the way i hear AA gave up 20 prospects in all the trades he made.
  23. Both teams backups in goal tonight, also both undefeated.
  24. Took a high hit last night again but got right back up, no doubt some teams will take shots at him he will just have to keep his head up. As for Peluso his role and that of others like him is disappearing but as long as other teams have them we have to be ready, plus it doesn't hurt if he plays like he did last night. Petan probably in tonight versus Montreal
