  1. Can someone explain how the hit on Harris when he slid late was roughing the passer?
  2. Calgary ran that crap a lot when the challenge first came in. They would have a receiver truck a DB on the opposite side of the field on 3rd and long, and if they didn't make the play, they would challenge for illegal contact on the other side of the field. This play reminded me so much of that.
  3. Clock killing TD drive is what we need. This is where bully ball can shine
  4. Nice return by Lucky
  5. Don't let facts get in the way of the narrative though
  6. Awful call by the refs.
  7. Lucky on the field for the field goal.
  8. Looked like he took an awkward hit on the last return that he played.
  9. I'm sure Brit Dort will have a report on that as they start the 2nd half.
  10. They haven't said yet. Looked like the trainers were looking at his hand and not his head though. Either way, hope he's ok.
  11. They are often on site for special games like Touchdown Pacific. They were always in Halifax for Touchdown Atlantic. They sometimes go to the Labour Day or Banjo Bowl games, and they always go to the Hall of Fame game.
  12. Someone in one of the teams had a cover that matched the team helmet colours a couple weeks back, but I can't remember which team.
  13. I don't disagree that passing on the shoulder is stupid, it absolutely is, and it drives me crazy when I see impatient people do it in some areas around here. My response was more to your comment about whether a person who has had 5-6 beers can drive. They may think that they can and likely get away with it a lot, but at the end of the day, their judgement and reaction time are impaired whether they think so or not.
  14. They may think that they are not impaired, but they are. Reaction time and decision making is not the same as if they hadn't had anything to drink, whether they "feel" it or not.
  15. They said that they wanted to do that to increase scoring across the league. I would be curious to know what the average scores were before and after that change and if it had the intended effect.
  16. That eliminates having the returner having to try to keep the ball in play on one that is close to the end line, and takes away an opportunity to score. I wouldn't change it at all.
  17. Do not change the rules regarding the rouge, it is a great rule that is unique to the CFL and make the game more interesting. Even if the Bombers lost the game on a last second rouge, I would be saying the same thing, and I think it's ridiculous every time certain teams lose that this discussion comes up. It's part of the strategy in the game to make sure you are close enough to be able to make the kick and incentivizes the returners to run the ball out of the end zone on a miss. It is not a reward for missing a field goal, it is a reward for kicking the ball far enough, or stopping the returner from getting out of the end zone.
  18. They didn't learn their lesson with Mike (Michael) Reilly when they gave him a ridiculous contract to lure him out of Edmonton and then couldn't afford any other pieces around him.
  19. Pretty sure they've had that for the last number of games.
  20. Did you really expect anything less from them?
  21. What are the new security gates?
  22. I think they saw something they didn't like (probably personel wise) and wanted to fix before the snap but the refs were slow to blow it down.
  23. Does Suitor even know what he's talking about? Sask couldn't kill the clock because it was an incomplete pass so the clock was stopped.
  24. Arguably we didn't lose to TO, the CC screwed up the non PI call on Demski which changed the game.
  25. Replay looks like it was a clean shot to the chest.
