    Covid-19

Dr. Roussin basically said that as long as we continue to follow the fundamentals (wash hands, social distance, and wear masks when that's not possible), then there is no need for any other extraordinary precautions. Most of the cases have all been linked (other investigations are still ongoing), so they are not concerned that anything out of the ordinary is happening.

  9. As a season ticket holder, I got the email yesterday announcing The W Hub which is a new portal for exclusive Bomber content. One of the features is a new podcast called Handled Internally hosted by Darren Cameron and Ed Tait. The first episode was on there with Buck Pierce and it was fantastic. Great insight into how he got started as a player and a coach along with some fun stories that you otherwise would never hear about. If you have access to it, I highly recommend listening.

    Covid-19

The point of the lockdown was to take those 30 to 49 year olds who have Covid and stop them from spreading it to people who are more vulnerable. Since Covid is so much more infectious that other things (like the flu), that was why the lockdown was required. As has been missed by many over and over again, it's not that Covid is extra deadly, it's that Covid is extra infectious. The more people who get infected, the more you put more vulnerable people at risk.

I read that it was 2 males in their twenties. No other details though unfortunately.

    Covid-19

This is a much more contagious flu, with no vaccine. It's the level of contagion that really makes COVID scary. Because it is so contagious, that many more people can get it, increasing the risk of people getting severely ill and needing hospital care, which then has the potential to overwhelm the health care systems and causing more deaths. THAT is what the measures were put in place to prevent.

My 7 year old daughter leans forward like that when she's gotta go pee... maybe he just always needs to take a leak.

New conspiracy theory... COVID-19 was started by the WTA and the All England Tennis Club to finance some renovations...

    Covid-19

I believe that the big difference between COVID and the swine flu (referenced in the article) and the seasonal flu is how contagious it is. The simple fact is that anyone saying that we should go on as normal is not taking into account that COVID is far more contagious than the other flus and has the potential to quickly overwhelm the medical systems. The only reason it hasn't is because of the measures that have been taken.

    Covid-19

I think the part you're missing is that if the measures that have been taken (ie. social distancing, etc.), then the load on the health care system would be much higher than it already is, and the number of deaths would escalate much quicker than they have. If we are able to keep the number of deaths below that of the seasonal flu, then that would indicate that the measures taken have worked as intended.

    Covid-19

We do have something, it's called the flu shot, and if more people took that seriously (ie. enough to get herd immunity) the number of deaths from the seasonal flu would likely go down significantly.

Since this whole thing started in China, you'd think they would have used this tea to stop it before it got out of hand... Yes, I realized that he's full of crap.

  23. Yeah, fair point... hard to follow the bouncing ball.
  24. I thought there was a rule that you had to always have a designated QB or kicker on the field, but you couldn't have more than one QB.
  25. Scoring a TD there still wasn't securing the win either, it would have setup the extra point to tie and go to overtime, so there was still plenty of ball to be played even if they did score. Everyone keeps making it seem like Sask would have won on that play, but the game still wouldn't have been over.
