It's all based on the honour system, but at the end of the day, I think it's a win-win for the Bombers. Even if all 5000-6000 cars parked on campus called in to complain, that means guaranteed sellout for the following game. Getting that many fans in the stands increases concession revenue, and I'm sure they've done the math that they come out way ahead that way.

Was it the No End penalty last year? Or was that against Edmonton?

Starting to think it's like wrestling with a pig in mud... at some point you have to realize that the pig is enjoying it...

Can anyone actually explain how catching the ball with both hands can ever be considered not having control of the ball? He caught it, and went to tuck it and had it slip loose... pathetic call by the C'mon Centre.
-
I wouldn't put the non fumble on the refs... they called it right on the field, it was the C'mon Centre that screwed that one up... is that 3 for 3 on those calls so far this year? Agreed that the unneccesary roughness was a marginal call at best. Overall though, I actually thought the reffing was decent tonight.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg

Didn't you know that was only because of all of the turnovers that we aren't going to be able to get again this year? -

Now to be clear, you're talking about the fumble in the 4th quarter right? I absolutely agree that they got it wrong, and it didn't even look close on the replay. I could see why the refs on the field got it wrong because it was very close, but the replay showed it clearly.

CFL 2017 season to be livestreamed in more than 130 countries

Tried installing Made In Canada today and couldn't even get that far. For whatever reason, I couldn't install the Add-on. -
Agreed that CJOB would have a favoured team as well. "And Paredes' kick is up.... and it's successful" Anyways, wasn't looking to pick a fight, just making an observation.
-
I agree that it's fine to be said on TV/radio because in general they don't have a side that they are cheering for, in the stadium though, they do have a favoured team.
-
One thing that bothers me when I'm at a game is that when the visiting team makes field goal or PAT, the stadium announcer says that the kick is good... when the visiting team scores points it is not good for us, so it would make more sense if he said that it was successful.

Gonna go out on a limb a bit and say Marquay McDaniel

I couldn't figure out what that roughing the passer call was all about... all I could figure from the extremely zoomed out replay was that maybe someone touched the QBs helmet... it looked marginal at best.

I think it was the interception play that was called back due to PI. I didn't see exactly how Denmark went down but it looked to me like he may have pulled something, or tightened up at least. He was down while the Edmonton player was running around, but shortly after he got tackled Denmark got up on his own and limped his way off the field before the trainers noticed he was down. Agree with blue_gold_84, hopefully he was just shutdown for precaution.

TJ Thorpe was injured early in the game. That was disappointing because I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do on kick returns.
-
Saw a couple of offsides early in the game as well, but yeah, they were pretty bloody obvious in the 4th. Not sure where the refs were looking on those ones. Overall a pretty exciting game for pre-season though, and it was great to see almost 25,000 people show up for the game on what turned out to be a pretty great night for football. Thank God it's June!!

Gotcha, I misunderstood...

Reilly was actually brought into the league by BC (with them from 2010-2012.

I find this conversation very interesting considering this tweet yesterday from Derek Taylor: No question it could be better, but he's ranked right up there in the top 5 for red-zone passing.

Though I agree with you guys on the quality of the seats in those first few rows, I believe the seats further back (ie. P4) are better value. That being said, it comes down to what you can afford as well.
-
Personally, I'm a fan of P4 seating... had seats in 207 at the 40-45 yard line for a few years that were great. Moving over to 209 this year, so same spot on the field, opposite side of centre. I like the upper deck because I like to see the whole field and the pricing at P4 is reasonable to me considering how close to centre field I am.

Click on your bracket and edit it... the name is at the top of the page. It uses the name of the bracket rather than your name for the list.
