When everyone thought the game was over after the turnover, a bunch of fans jumped onto the field. I believe that it was one of those fans who was over talking to some of the Ottawa players, and Dyce didn't like what he was hearing, so he got into it with the fan. Not sure if it was an Ottawa or Sask fan, but it looked like some random dude who had no right to be on the field. As for the reviews and such, I'm surprised that Crum wasn't pulled from the game by the injury spotter on the OT TD run, because he took a shot to the head and looked a little wobbly getting up after he scored. I thought the player who hit him led with his helmet and should have been penalized as well. For the last automatic review, it was a turnover which are always under automatic review by the command centre, we just don't always hear about it because some of them are reviewed faster than others, and there is usually a commercial break after a turnover, so we don't notice it. In this case, we did because of the timing and it seeming like the game was over. I think the PI call could have gone either way. Someone on the TSN panel made the comment that if you have to use slow motion to determine if it was PI or not, then it likely shouldn't be called, and I kindof agree with that. I would also say though that if that was PI, then the one that didn't get called in the Bomber game definitely should have been because the guy was all over Demski long before the ball go there.

The character that many are assuming was a mockery of Jesus was meant to be Dionysus, the Greek god of wine-making, orchards and fruit, vegetation, fertility, festivity, insanity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, and theatre. Basically, the god of partying, which is a big part of the Olympics. It's a nod to the Greek heritage of the Olympics and the people who are offended by it, are looking for something to be offended by.

Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Sard replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Just watch Collaros come back angry after having to take a game off and just light it up like he did last year after being taken out of that Edmonton game. -
He lost it after the contact from Calgary and he was already down.
-
That catch by Wolitarsky was fantastic awareness to roll so the point of the ball didn't hit the turf.
-
Kevin Burgoine, I believe he is the receivers coach

Love that helmet design, definitely my favorite.

My question is whether he is actually mad, or was the reporter, Billeck, asking very leading questions so that the answers could be interpreted that way. It wouldn't be the first time a reporter wanted to stir up a controversy, so they asked those types of leading questions and then framed the article in such a way as to make it look much worse than it really is.

3 turds plus crappy honker preseason game 3

The other argument would be that it was contacting the helmet, so still a roughing the passer... a very soft roughing the passer, but been called the last couple years either way. -

Bonfire Sports... generally some pretty good insights and analysis.

Your kids don't know what they are talking about. I have the S10+ and have considered going to a newer phone, but it's been so good that I see no reason to change. My whole family is on iPhones, but I will never have one for myself.

By the strictest definition of a city (population of at least 50,000 people with a density greater than 1,500 per sq. km), according to the 2021 census there is 1 (Brandon). That being said, we do have pockets of places that have the population density but not the total population: Portage La Prairie Thompson Selkirk Niverville Neepawa Flin Flon Virden No I didn't miss the sarcasm, but the comment piqued my interest, so I looked it up.

2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News
Sard replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The standards of 15 years ago are not the same as they are now. Something that Barker did or said 15 years ago (and I won't claim to know what it was or how it compares to what Marcoux said here), may or may not get him fined now. As society evolves, so does what is seen as acceptable and not acceptable, so it's really hard to put the two situations side by side and say that they are the same and should be treated the same. -

When Darian Durant retired from the Bombers before the season started, his bonus money that had been paid counted against the SMS, so a precedent has been set there. There is no way that the Argos should ever be let off the hook for that $300K, but it is the Argos, so you never know what the league will do for them. -

Coaching is a ton of fun... I'm coaching U13 girls softball starting tonight... really looking forward to the season kicking off. I did flag football a number of years back, but I was in a bit over my head with that one... still fun though.
