  1. A Semi-Final is still a final.
  2. I'm tuning in late, but have they explained why Farhan purrs when he says Rourke's name? He's almost salivating.
  3. Boveralls were so yesterday...
  4. Let's party like it's 2021.
  5. Williams suspended for one game. Guy tries to hurt another player and it could have resulted in paralysis. One game is joke but so is CFL "discipline".
  6. Current rankings. 1. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (9-6) Last Week: 1 Last Game: 55-27 win over Edmonton Next game: At Hamilton, Fri. Oct. 4 Worth noting: The Bombers are now 9-2 since that 0-4 start to their season and are playoff-bound for the eighth consecutive year. Big games from Zach Collaros, Brady Oliveira and Nic Demski in last week’s demolition of the Elks should be very encouraging for a fan base that through all of the recent success they’ve seen, may have still been questioning that side of the ball. A career night from Collaros likely provides a confidence boost from the field level through all of the seats at Princess Auto Stadium.
  7. Week 3 Power Rankings. We were dead last. 9. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (0-2) Last Week: 5 Last Game: 23-19 loss to Ottawa Next game: Vs. BC, Fri. June 21 Worth noting: We said it last week when they were at No. 5 and we’ll say it again this week with them at No. 9: this feels strange. Zach Collaros is yet to throw a passing touchdown and has three interceptions; the Bombers have allowed five sacks in two games, giving them the second-worst total in the league and they’re last in scoring, at 15.5 points per game. Those are all bad stats, but also things that as we head into Week 3 of the season, could change in one game. Injuries are a factor in their slow start. Brady Oliveira sat out last week’s loss to Ottawa and Kenny Lawler is on the six-game injured list with a fractured arm. Another star receiver, Dalton Schoen, sat out Monday’s practice with a hip issue. Time will heal some physical wounds and we still think that the Bombers will find their way back to the upper levels of these rankings.
  8. Because it's no fun to say, Bombers are going to beat them like a rented mule.
  9. The No-means-no game is almost sold out.
  10. Out go the Trash-stros. Out go the Orioles. Everything is coming up Yankees! And, the Jays are re-upping Atkins. Could this day get any better??
  11. Ha! Sure, pay now and get your tickets refunded when they inevitably end their tour citing irreconcilable differences.
  12. He seems surprised, like he doesn't know that they are (and have been) widely regarded as the dirtiest team in the league. They've been dirty for many years. How can you follow that team and not know that they are dirty?
  13. Year after year, the Riders are the dirtiest team in the league. And their media is like, hur... dur... They deserve each other. Trash media for a trash fanbase.
  14. Make the season even longer? Yikes.
  15. It's not November, it's not our time to win in Hamilton. We lose this one but beat them in the West Final.
  16. Freedom is just another word for nothin' left to lose. There are not many better lines in music/poetry than that gem.
  17. I, like many, met Pete in Caesar's Palace. Should have inducted into Cooperstown for his on field achievements. If Big Papi is in with all that juice, so should Rose. Can't bet on the game. End of. But, no indication he did while he was playing. Mutombo came along when I followed basketball closely. What an intimidating character. I had his shoes. 😉 But, by all accounts, he was also a wonderful human being. RIP.
  18. We'll see what they do. I expect them to extend Vlad and trade Bo. It's hard to see the direction with this team.
  19. Did the Elks just tap out?
  20. Jackson pulls off the mask... It's been Chris Jones all along.
  21. Wilson has zero experience against a real team. Preseason reps?? This place is Riderville now.
  22. Dolegala has at least thrown a ball in the CFL.
