I get it that sometimes you have to talk up the losing team to make the game seem interesting and, history will tell you, that's usually the Riders, but you don't need to do that when the game is SOOO close and competitive.

How difficult is it to learn to take a snap? This is an honest question. Like, BO has probably never or rarely taken a direct snap, nor has he read the defense from directly behind centre, so how quickly could he pick it up if we lined him up there?

Yes, but he wasn't developed. He just got the job by default. They tried really hard with Lance (high pick who wasn't ready and got injured) a washed up QB (Jimmy G) and never-was-good, wore every jersey in the league QB (Josh Johnson). Eventually, and almost literally, Purdy was the last QB standing.

Yeah, I remember all those great Masoli victories and his ability to stay healthy. If we bring in Masoli, we may as well bring his replacement in at the same time.

In the NFL, teams seem reluctant to draft and develop QBs. Everyone's backup is an experienced, often a mediocre choice. Then, when the young QB gets their chance, they don't get much of an opportunity and get pulled. Love developed. Even Mahomes sat for a year. Not everyone is going to jump into a starter role and Stroud-it. It's the most important position on the field and everyone develops at a different pace.

The media has been ridiculous. Farhan is always a ridiculous joke - 3DN level. But, there are quite a few MBB pundits who have dismissed him and his talent.

No we're not. There are still some really talented players in this league but there is a whole lot of talent that would have been in the CFL if not for the expanded PR in the NFL. There are 192 additional spots absorbing some of the best potential CFL players. Then you add the USFL which is drawing them too.

Show me someone in the CFL thay would rather be here than the NFL. The entire league is here because they have nowhere else to go.

What's wrong with Rourke other than he played football in the US? This league is falling apart. Talent is low. We need high skill players and he's very high skilled.

Case was clean and handled the ball really well. I thought Smith was a little uneasy catching it but fine going forward. I'll take Case and the potential over Lucky back there. But, you have to roster Lucky for the odd jet-sweep, I guess.
