Goldeyes home opener tonight at Shaw Park. Now that Kijiji no longer allows resale of tickets, what is everyone using in town for resale tickets? I was hoping, despite the crazy wind, to go out to the park tonight. StubHub has lots of tickets available but all well above retail. Anywhere else to check?

Somewhat off topic but consistent with recent farming theme. There are 8 entries, if you follow the thread. Nothing remarkable, in terms of farming, but a bit of insight into cattle farming almost a hundred years ago.

I would say, yes. He was definitely long and not wide. Probably this guy.

Musk is losing lots of money right now. He's going to back out of the deal to buy Twitter.

Hopefully Bonfire can take off or Sports Talk grows enough to add more talent and shows. It was nice to see the parking lot at stadium looking busy this morning. I saw a Bomber walking (limping) down Chancellor East away from the stadium, carrying their cleats and backpack. I couldn't see who it was, with their hoodie up (and their name not on the back) but they were not headed towards the practice field or the entrance to the stadium. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They should be allowed to have all the GCs that they win while here in the statue, not just the first 6.

The one season the award became a lifetime achievement award.

There's always lots of rumours about reclusive dictators. They're always suffering from "something". Kim Jong-un has also been dying for years. Trump was often dying too, while in office.

But, it could be Hodgkins Lymphoma, a very treatable and survivable cancer too.

Did you have any interest in being a farmer?

They feel empowered by the CPC who are praising them. They cozied up the terrorists that occupied Ottawa and condoned the actions of those that harassed Trudeau in the last federal campaign. And, if you watched the debate, you know you can expect more from them.

No, he would be in the Stanley Cup Finals, if he were elbowing Crosby. And, then he would get 5 games.

No, just the new QB without experience with this club and 56 total passes in his career. A real vet! -
Something, something, cancel culture, wokeism, something, something.

You're not concerned with the toxic culture?

We're still in the first phase of the post Endgame timeline. A lot of moving parts that will come together, over time. Just like when they introduced all the Avengers, one by one, they're doing the same here. We know that Kang is the big villain now but Galactus is coming. Still need the Fantastic Four before we get there. Will Gorr be defeated permanently? I know that the multiverse has long been part of the Marvel Universe. And, frankly, it works fine in comics but, IMO, it's wayyyy too big to try to tackle over a series of 10 to 20 films. It's too confusing for casuals and makes absolutely anything possible. It's almost like a sandbox where nothing matters and no consequences. Why not have 20 Spider-men-women-pigs-etc? I wish we could back to the single timeline.

I guess it depends on the needs of the team and their cap situation. Scheif is on a very favourable contract.

Players need change sometimes. It's not weakness because they don't have to trade him. Eichel got traded.

No chance. This is a legit elite centre. Until this past year, he was favoured to take one of the 4 centre positions with Team Canada. It's only been since his hit last year in the playoffs that he's not been the same.

Evander Kane still has a job in the NHL. Some teams don't care and still pay over-the-top for talent.

I think more than anything, we can see where the threats are coming from. We'll maintain strong connections to Europe but we're going to be further and further isolated from our nearest neighbours. Both Dems and GOP pose a threat. Traditionally, Dems have used economic means to attack Canada (protectionist) but the GOP valued our strategic partnership. However, with the recent antidemocratic, pro-fascist actions by the GOP, we're going to be in tough. That poison is seeping into our country and a major political party is mouthing the same rhetoric. The US is a threat to our democracy aa they turn away from it.

REC vs DB will be fun. -
I mean the idea that they will privatize healthcare. They can't do that over one term. They slowly defund it and push it beyond repair so that the only way to "save" it is privatization. It's all about the slow play. Undermine the system, cut funding, and bleed it to death.
-
In the case of Hydro, however, the PCs have a history of privatization and they've been making obvious moves in order to facilitate a sale. It was notable when they brought Paul Beauregard in as Secretary to Treasury Board.
-
Yeah, we definitely see it from the NDP, Liberals and CPCs. Liberals warn of guns, Cons warn of criminals running around, and the NDP warn of attacks to healthcare.
