  1. Poolman was drafted and developed to the NHL, which was the criteria. Chairot was drafted in 2009.
  2. What fear mongering? People still need to be prepared, especially if power goes out. Should always be prepared but we're getting a heads-up, which is rare.
  3. I know that they are mock drafts but I am amazed at how few OL everyone is predicting will be picked up in the first round. Is it possible that teams don't learn?
  4. 7. SASKATCHEWAN RODEEM BROWN OL | ALBERTA Originally I had Bryant RB Daniel Adeboboye here as an immediate plus on special teams and possible future ratio changer at running back, but in a weak lineman class I believe no player helped themselves more than Rodeem Brown on CFL Combine weekend. Heading back to U of A in 2022 could drop his stock, but the Riders aren’t in desperation mode looking for a plug and play lineman. They should take Brown, develop him for 2023 and potentially add their centre for the next five years.
  5. Great analysis! We had to wait a long time for Poolman, so that 5th round seems like a fair, all things considered.
  6. I'm Smithers in this gif.
  7. He's played 55 games and missed time with an injury. He's a fulltime NHLer this year.
  8. Trouba, Morrissey, Stanley, Poolman.
  9. Mine and the neighbouring streets are littered with broken branches. Never seen it so bad. A lot of damage was done this winter. However, I think that there are two contributing factors to this. The first, is that it was really dry last year and I found my trees be rather "brittle". I assume it's the same around my hood. But, second, and most importantly, the city has cut back on pruning the trees. My city owned tree is looking really sad and overgrown. I was advised to leave it by the city and they would come around. Three years on and I will be pruning my tree this spring because they have never come. The branches hang really low over the street for mine and all my neighbour trees. Not so much now that the snow clearing broke them off.
  10. I'll just do the whole front yard! I'm sure my neighbours would love it.
  11. No, the rounded ones in newer neighbourhoods with front driveways. My driveway is still cement. I have not had to resurface it yet. However, the scraping is doing a ton of damage along with the ground shifting. Combo of ground shifting, creating edges that get damaged by the shovels. I don't blame them for that. They can't see where the driveway shifts. The grass that gets torn up is different story. They push two snow piles up onto my yard each year and they scrape down under the grass. I would be smart to just replace the first ten feet of my yard with gravel or stones.
  12. I meant on outsourcing it. I don't blame them for going over budget on a year like this.
  13. I don't know if it's the timing or the accumulation of damage but I have never seen the city's curbs in such bad shape. Our neighbourhood curbs have been destroyed by the snow-removal vehicles. My front lawn is consistently torn up. So, far, only one snow bank has properly melted to see underneath and it's torn up. I hope the city is saving a ton of money on snow clearing.
  14. And, how was the experience? I can't wait to go.
  15. Truly the worst people. Nothing redeemable on the right any longer. And, mouth-breathers will eat it up.
  16. PoMo took a bullet for you.
  17. GST? Heck ya! Heinola is going to be tired.
  18. I was wondering about the impact. I was worried that we would get too much precipitation and flooding. Is the timing right?
  19. 24 years old. RIP.
  20. Wouldn't be as much of an issue if the US didn't stop growing grains in exchange for corn.
  21. And, Willie has said the same thing about other players that leave. He wasn't happy when Lucky went to BC but he looked plenty happy hoisting the GC.
  22. I think, when they get together and compare paystubs, they'll know something had to give.
  23. From $79 to $99 year. I'm glad my renewal was last month.
  24. I honestly don't see Arash as a CFL reporter. Sportsnet has him doing everything else and he does little bits. I see him as a jaded fan of the league. And, he's a Vikings fan, so he's used to being disgruntled about football.
