I don't see Wall being big with the Ontario crowd. You need someone like Raitt, a Bay-Streeter, who can shut up the fringe. Ryan was not a good CFL punter when he came back. I know that the Riders faithful thinking booming kicks into the end zone is a winning strategy but it wasn't. The Riders team knows this, which is why they are moving on. However, Ryan had a long career and could have just retired after leaving the Seachickens. I doubt the money he got from the Riders made much of a difference in his life but he chose to come back to play for his home team.
