@Mark H. We got a plan from our school last night that (hopefully) will meet the needs of remote learners and keep the kids 2 meters apart. It's everything they should have been doing since September but chose not to. But, at least, we have a plan and it's reasonable. They will start using the extra space like the gyms, the band rooms, the library to offer smaller class sizes, breaking up the classes into smaller groups. Resource teachers will provide instruction based on the teachers lesson plan, as classes will be split. We'll see how this goes. Gym will be outdoors. Music/band will be taught in-class and be theory based. No singing and no wind instruments. Remote learning will be offered to those that want it. The librarians will deliver the lesson plan with 2-3 and 3-4 hours per day of instruction, depending upon the grade level. This is a great idea.

Today is the 20th Anniversary of the Gif...

I can understand wanting to be on the field, playing for his hometown team and finally winning the World Series. It must be so exciting. But how could you put your teammates, friends and their families at risk like that? So selfish. He could have isolated himself physically from everyone else. Oh, well, good for the Dodgers. This should be their third championship in four years if they didn't have to play the cheaters from Houston and Boston.

I hate that idea. All you will get it gridlock in choosing judges. There will also be so many side deals and corruption. It would just bring even more politics into the court. No wonder Buttegieg likes it.

Wait, are you suggesting that Laine has been coached properly and is developing? That's blasphemy in some parts. And, for the record, I agree going forward that Laine should be next to Sheif. It's time but not before now.

Yup, you need all three levels.

I need to add, with respect, that our board leadership has been very poor on lots of issues over the past few years. Our superintendent should have been out several years ago. Our teachers have been awesome and most care deeply about the kids health and safety, along with their own. Some seem indifferent but that's not the norm. Our principal is brand new and walked into this crisis but has not got much support from the board, it seems. This is crisis management and we're failing as a community. We're just lucky that we have not had any cases in our school (but in the attached daycare, we have). They need to use the library, the gymnasiums, and the band rooms to get facilitate a safe social distancing. So far, they haven't done it.

They're already fire bombing police stations and rioting in the US. They're killing people with police help. The police and alt-right have been rioting for months.

It's not just Trump. Trump just says the quiet parts out loud. But this is the GOP. Always has been.

They have no plan. Masks were mandated by the province, not the school board. The sanitizer has been there, which is good. Cohorts have been a mess and have been changing. That, of course, was mandated by the province, not the school board. Basic cleaning. Not really extra, which is also mandated. Other School Boards have come up with plans and implemented them. Without level orange, our school has indoor band. They were preparing covers for some of the wind instruments. You must take band in grade 6 and no one is spaced more than a meter apart. They said they need some time to develop a plan. They've had seven months and still don't have one. No one has selected remote learning because they can't and won't communicate what this will mean.

Expand the court to 13, to be consistent with the original intent of having the same number of judges as circuits. Introduce term limits of 13 years and have one expire each year.

He was "rewarded" with the more ice time. He's not as responsible or as good of a player as Wheeler is today, which is why he's behind him. Even if Wheeler has lost a step, he's still a better player TODAY.

Basically, but burning the whole thing down in a partisan temper tantrum. It's going to be a mess. A violent mess. Banana Republic transitions usually are.

The next three months are going to be the most destructive in recent US history. The GOP is going to be decimated at the polls and they will spend the time ripping apart any norms that have existed.

With the anti-science, alt-right now controlling the US gov't through the SC, you can expect environmental laws to be struck down left and right. It's a free for all down south on murdering our planet for profit.

The CFL has relied on owners like Braley and Young, along with the community based teams forever. To be an owner of a CFL team, you need to willing to lose money sometimes and reinvest any surpluses back into the club. You must love the CFL or you won't last. Braley loved the CFL.

The Superintendent for Pembina Trails told the Trustees last Thursday that October 26th was only a suggestion for implementing 2 meter distancing and they were targeting November 2nd for implementation. Of course, they have no plan. They've been without one for the past 7 months. It befuddles them. They sent out a survey for parents asking if we would prefer in-class or remote learning. If we chose remote learning, we wouldn't have the option to go back into class until we were out of orange. The survey wasn't working on Friday but they fixed in on Sunday. Given how bad remote learning was in spring, we've opted for the in-class. If, we choose, we can still pull them. As of now, there have been zero changes in school my kids go to. I'll wait to hear back from my kids tonight if they experienced any changes.

At this point it's entirely up to individual states to handle their Covid business. The Feds are too dumb and too corrupt to do anything. I feel bad for those stuck with Red State Governors. So many will needlessly die. Far more than they are reporting now and into the future.

I would have loved to see GSP vs Khabib both in their primes. I'm not sure how it would go but I think Khabib would take it. GSP remains one of my all-time favorites. Silva, was so good for so long.

Incredible career. Has there been anyone better?

Obviously, I'm biased, folks, but I don't see anyone taking the Grey Cup from us this year. No one can beat us.

God no. True North is already getting plenty of money out of this city and province. I don't want Chipman anywhere near another property. He can own the Jets and Moose and that's enough. Even if he were to sell the franchise and it moved, the AA would give Winnipeg another with a new owner. This has been a very successful market for them.

This city should not be dealing with that criminal. He and his associates fleeced this city. He's a crook. The park is beautiful and will remain beautiful under new management. The American Association is now affiliated with MLB, which will attract another buyer and a new, more balanced deal with the city.

There are zero undecided voters, that's just a fraud. The polls are real, more people would vote for Biden, just like Hillary... But, saying you will vote and actually doing it are two different things. Right now, this is all about who will get out and vote. Will enough Biden supporters go out? Probably. Will Trump try to get only his votes counted? Definitely.
