I'll point out that two of the most successful re-starts have taken place in Florida. MLS and NBA have created great bubbles. But, that works because of the orgs and because of the player's commitments. The venues have been great. Not sure how you would have college football in a bubble? I don't know. I haven't heard anything from the Bombers org. It's pretty small, without a lot of turnover (after Miller got his people in). I wouldn't put too much into those that we're pushed out. I cannot speak of the Bomber's org but I've heard complaints from his other ventures, Pinnacle, Elite, etc.

I don't understand your question. 1. It was Ambrosie's fault. We all know it. 2. The lottery happened but the teams that made the qualifying round couldn't be slotted into their position. So, not all the draft positions were known. An "unknown" position won the lottery. Now, you can't have a team tank out to get the number one overall pick, so they tossed all the qualifiers into a hat. Everyone getting an equal chance. This was not predetermined prior to the initial draft. 3. Ambrosie fixed it so the Rangers won, which means it's his fault. How he has sway in the NHL is unknown but I'm certain Bettman and Ambrosie are part of a secret Commish cult. Manfred is a Grand Poobah in this cult.

Oh, wow. With all the money they're going to lose, I truly expected them to find a way to put their student athletes into harms way to ensure they padded their pockets.

It would suck for sure but the lottery is still the best system to ensure teams don't tank. I know the players don't tank but management can certainly do things to help give points away. None of those teams tried to tank this year but, through pure luck, may end up with the top pick. I think that shows that the lottery is working. Of course I don't want any of them to get the first pick. And, Steve Simmons is a piece of trash. That is all.
