Astronomers are wondering whether Orion's shoulder will soon explode When Betelgeuse does eventually go supernova, the brightness will rival a full moon https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/betelgeuse-dimming-1.5407038

Didn't they sell out that indy event they held in Chicago last year?
-
I love to be surprised!
-
I knew Wedge was going to be in it, so I was watching for him. The Ghost is in the trailer.
-
Because he wasn't on the list, according to Marshall. Head shaking stuff here.

Yes. Can't undo VIII but they try or just ignore it altogether. Go knowing that it's not perfect but it's perfectly good.
-
Hux! Weird but funny. I liked how they dealt with him considering he was such a weak character.

Overall it was good. Not great. A few stretches of very good. I was completely surprised by Rey being a Palpatine. I feel so dense that I didn't see it coming. But, it was totally the right move. Mirrored Luke with Vader. I feel very happy with this outcome to her heritage. Palps was meh. The whole idea of a secret fleet was done in some of the books and is a good one but they never address how they would populate the millions of soldiers and crew it would take to actually staff it. Also, the ship yards.

I didn't see it!

Don't sleep on the Golden Gaels!

The fight scenes deliver!

I saw it last night. Serious spoilers below, so please only read if you've seen it. There are a few things that I don't want to ruin.

They fall into a tie with the Toronto Varsity Blues (4) but the Hamilton Tigers (5). They're just ahead of the Queen's University (3), the Toronto Balmy Beach (2), and the Sarnia Imperials (2).

It does if you think that the country is made up of 50 individual states which have their own rights and separation of powers. They are united with common federal laws but distinctly separate powers. It may be a relic of the past, like the electoral college, like the two-party system, like the primaries but means that Montana has the same voice as Florida, as Alaska, as Texas, and so on. It's meant as a balance.

Berdin is burnt out. Bringing Comrie is as an AHL back-up makes sense.

The Riders definitely did their first practice indoors. There were several pics including short shots of CoFaj tossing the ball. I don't really have a problem with a team doing one practice indoors. You may have a few things you want to run unencumbered where you need to communicate with the team and hope they aren't distracted. But only one practice.

They had to do something while waiting for the ring fitter to get there. They had already practised their parade waving.
-
Does "victory formation" include laying on the ground in a passive position? Cause they looked really good at that formation during the Grey Cup.

DT is just looking for adulation from the green-frothing masses. Just like all Saskatchewan media, they're more interested in ensuring that the fans are placated rather than informed.

I was going to walk over last night but realized that, with the Jets game, it was going to be packed. Thought better of it and passed. Maybe in January on a non-hockey night.

They can't even find an OC, all the good ones are taken, and you expect them to re-sign Bryant?? To protect who?? We only have one QB under contract. This is a disaster. Yoshi re-signed because no on else wants him. Our NI receiver Woli, only receiver who doesn't catch passes, re-signed because he wants stay close to home. And how are we going to attract a QB? We pay our QBs so little that they can't afford t-shirts and have to borrow coats from their MIL (or GFs mother? I can't keep up).

I guess the judge is challenging that legislation. I honestly don't know enough from my casual readings. I'll be interested to read the analysis from the legal experts down south.

Double jeopardy. Can't be tried for the same crime. We'll see if the DA appeals and on what grounds.
