  1. It sucked when we were 7-2.
  2. Who's getting these pay increases that will cause us to release Bighill and let Adams and Jefferson walk?
  3. All depends who our OC is. Masoli works in a very specific system and not outside it. McGuire may be a better QB but he still needs time to develop.
  4. Evans is under contract. He is not an option.
  5. Exactly, why won't the East work harder? Be better, East, work harder!
  6. No way. Pay Masoli a lot of money or pay Evans less? They'll let Masoli walk.
  7. TAKING JOBS AWAY FROM ALBERTANS????
  8. As in the tradition at my house every Saturday night.
  9. Homer: Yeah, that's right, Barney. This year, I invested in pumpkins. They've been going up the whole month of October and I got a feeling they're going to peak right around January. Then, bang! That's when I'll cash in.
  10. Hosting a playoff game means a lot of money for the club.
  11. And earlier this year.
  12. Exactly.
  13. So, you think they lowered the beer prices because they picked up Collaros and that's hurting ticket sales?
  14. Everyone is rental. We have Collaros as long we have anyone else on an expiring contract.
  15. Not at all.
  16. I really hope that Collaros can settle in quickly and make first downs. I predict 250-300 passing yards. 2 TDs. Harris 120 yards on the ground. 2 TDs. Final Score 33 Blue Bombers - 27 Stamps.
  17. Likely the last home game of the year. Collaros' first start as a Bomber and probably his last.
  18. I watched it last night. Didn't know what to expect. This is going to be good!!
  19. Good. But screw the Astros for trying to justify this and lie.
  20. Let's hope he does the same this year!
  21. Finished 3 and didn't finish 4?
  22. It's been discussed many times before but... A detailed look at why the CFL playoff format needs to be changed https://3downnation.com/2019/10/24/a-detailed-look-at-why-the-cfl-playoff-format-needs-to-be-changed/ I won't deny 3Down their click but here's a sample... How is it unfair? Gimme details. Home games, byes and quality of competition. Three types of playoff reward for regular season record. Let’s take 2016 for our step by step example, since it’s clear, recent and contains all of the major themes. League standings, independent of divisions: Calgary 15-2-1 B.C. 12-6 Winnipeg 11-7 Edmonton 10-8 Ottawa 8-9-1 Hamilton 7-11 Montreal (seven wins), Saskatchewan (five), Toronto (five) out. We can trace all the paths to the final game. No. 5 Ottawa finishes with eight wins and a losing record but gets a first round bye and then a home game against either the 4th or 6th place team. No. 1 Calgary’s reward for being best in the league isn’t bad with a bye and a home game, but they still have to play either the 2nd or 3rd best team, which is tougher than what Ottawa gets with seven fewer wins. Winnipeg’s ‘reward’ for finishing 3rd in the league is a road game to the No. 2 team followed by a road game against the No. 1. Edmonton, in 4th a game behind Winnipeg, also has two road games, but they’re against the No. 6 and No. 5 teams instead. And seven-win Hamilton gets a home game against the No. 4 team with an eye on facing the No. 5 team next, compared to the other division runner up, 12-win B.C., hosting the No. 3 team and then going right on to the No. 1 team. To encapsulate it all: 8-9-1 gets a bye and a home game against a weak team while 11-7 gets two road games against the two best teams. A better team a) plays an extra game, b) on the road the whole way, c) against tougher opposition, among other issues. The 5th place team gets far and away the easiest road to the Grey Cup. It says the 10-15 games that those top teams each won mean hardly anything because of geography.
  23. I totally missed the Bombers picking up Knight. Knight was a three-year starter at UNH and finished fifth in school history in career completions (590) and sixth in passing yards (6,345).
